Y/n pov:

As I checked my phone, I noticed the time was 7:30am and school starts at 8:00am. I got up and did my morning routine and quickly got dressed. I texted khalil and asked him to pick me up because I'd have no time to drive myself to school. I grabbed a granola bar along with my backpack and headed out of the door.

Text between y/n and khalil:

Khalil: y/n im here, come outside

Y/n: ok, on my way out now

I quickly responded to the message and walked to the car. "Yo wassup y/n" khail spoke. "Hey khalil how are you?" Y/n asked. "I'm doing good now that you're here" khalil responded flashing his beautiful smile at me. Trying to hide my smile, I turned away facing the window. I had been crushing on Khalil for some time now but I could never bring myself to tell him. After about 15 minutes, the car came to a complete stop. "We're here y/n" khalil said calmly. I grabbed my backpack from the backseat and prepared to get out of the car. "Thanks khalil" I told him. "No problem" he responded. We both got out of the car and gave each other a side hug and parted ways to go to our classes. As I was walking, I met up with my friends Keisha and Jennifer who snickered and gave me looks.

Jen pov: Me and Keisha watched as y/n got out of the car with khalil. "You think they like each other?" I asked Keisha smirking. "Most likely, y/n always blushes and acts shy around khalil" she responded. "I wouldn't be suprised if he was giving her that-" I cut Keisha off. "Heyyy now i think we've heard enough". Y/n came over to us and we greeted her with hugs. "Girl we seen you getting out of the car with khalil" Keisha said smiling. "You like him don't you?" I asked. "No... well maybe." Y/n said looking off to the side smiling. Just as I was about to speak, the bell rang for us to go to class. "Ooh come on before we be late" Keisha said pulling us both with her.

*time skip to after school*

Time: 3:30pm

Khalil pov: As i made my way to the gym, all I could think of was y/n. Her smile and beautiful eyes were the only thing on my mind. We became bestfriends as kids and are both 16 years old. I've had a crush on her for the longest but I never told her. Today will be the day I finally confess my love to her. I was the only one in the gym at the moment so, I took off my shirt and changed into my gym shorts and began to work on the treadmill.

Y/n pov: 30 minutes passed by as I walked to the gym to try and find khalil. I mean after all he was my ride home. As I walked through the gym doors I spotted khalil shirtless with sweat glistening on his body. "Hey y/n my bad I got a little caught up in my workout" khalil said. "You're fine khalil" i respondes. "Wait you think I'm fine?" Khalil said smirking. "I didn't mean like that" I said smiling. Who am I kidding I do think he's fine and sexy but he doesn't have to know that. "Can I talk to you about something?" Khalil asked nervously. "Yeah sure" I told him. We stood across from each other as I listened to him talk. "We've been bestfriends since we were six and over time I started having different feelings for you. Honestly I like everything about you and I'd love to have the opportunity to call you mine. So, with that being said will you be my girlfriend?" Khalil asked. "Yeah I'd like that" I said blushing and looking to the side. All of a sudden khalil came closer to me and moved my face back towards him so that we both made eye contact. As he held my face, he leaned in closer pecking my lips. I leaned closer and began to slowly kiss his lips. We both pulled away and headed to the car.

*timeskip*

"Thanks for dropping me off at home Khalil" I said. "No problem my princess" he responded. When I got in the house, I prepared for dinner and talked to khalil afterwards. We talked on the phone until we both decided to go to sleep.

Khalils pov:

It's been about one month since I asked y/n to be my girlfriend and honestly, it's the best decision I've ever made. I've been thinking of taking her on a date but I don't want to rush things. I want my babygirl to be as comfortable as possible. She deserves the world and I'm going to make sure she gets it. I thought of an idea and immediately picked up my phone.

Conversation with y/n👇🏾

Me: Goodmorning princess☀️

Y/n: Goodmorning my love, how are you?

Me: Im doing good how about you?

Y/n: Im doing well 😌

Me: Can i ask you something baby?

Y/n: yeah sure

Me: Would you like to go on a date with me tonight?

Y/n: yes baby id love to go on a date with you🥰

Me: alright I'll be there at 8 to pick you up

Y/n: i can't wait to see you😘

Me: i can't wait yo see you either my princess

Me: look in your room and you should see everything you need to get ready for our date ;)

Y/n Pov:

I looked around my room noticing three things: A glittery red dress, Golden earrings and a necklace with me and Khalil's itnitials on it. I got took a shower, got ready, and did my makeup.

~time skip( 7:30pm)~

I sprayed some perfume on and walked out the door. When I looked up, I noticed Khalil standing outside of a black limo. He had on a black tux with a red handkerchief that matched my dress. He also had on a gold watch and a fresh haircut. "Ready to head out princess?" Khalil said staring you down. "Yes my love" I replied getting into the car as Khalil opened the door for me.

Khalil pov:

As we were on the way to our destination, Y/n's beauty had me in a trance. With or without makeup she looked like a literal goddess. I grabbed the pink and red roses and handed them to y/n. "Awww that's so sweet of you khalil" she said smiling while smelling her flowers. The moonlight shined and glistened over her skin. "We're here" the driver said. I got out of the limo and went around y/n's side to help her out of the car.

Y/n pov:

Me and Khalil walked into the lavish restaurant and the waitress quickly sat us at a table. I ordered salmon and khalil ordered a steak. The waitress brought us our drinks and I noticed her trying to flirt with khalil. Khalil simply shrugged it off not paying her any attention. His eyes were so focused on me he didn't notice the waitress's antics.

~time skip~

Khalil was getting ready to pay so we could leave. The waitress handed him the ticket. "Y'all are good to go. Hope to see you here again" she said smiling at khalil and side eyeing you. You picked up the ticket and noticed she had written her number on there. *two can play that game* I thought. I wrote something back on the ticket and called her over. "Excuse me ma'am you left your tip" I said fake smiling at her and handing her the ticket. The ticket reads as follows:

Sure they'll be quick to hire you. who knows maybe you can be pennywise he's your twin after all :)

The waitress stormed off and you smirked at her as you and khalil headed out the door.
