i ran out of ideas SO IM TELLING MY OPINION ON EDDSWORLD SHIPS

tomtord : i hate this ship with a burning passion i cant stand it. i mean no offense to whoever ships it but like.. do NOT try and ‘change my mind’ like nuh uh im not listening!!! eddmatt : its a nice ship im pretty fond of it but people normally ship this so they can ship tomtord along with it sooo… err… i like it though its nice :) eddtord : it works IT WORKS GUYS it makes way more sense than tomtord or like the other tord ships tomatt : come on y’all we got a comic strip about it it’s technically canon (im lying to myself) polysworld : honestly?? i like it poly neighbors (i have NO clue what the ship name is) : i like it too tbh its silly

   The scene starts with a barbecue in Eduardo's backyard, the camera sort of shakey. It was specifically focused on Katya, who looked especially nervous.  "What are you doing?" A voice asked from out of frame, though it quickly shifted to show Tom sitting across the picnic table, holding his flask. "Kat said she wanted me to record it as proof." Jon's voice responded from behind the camera.

   "What? What's gonna happen?" "Just wait, you'll see-" He was cut off by Katya saying she had something to say, the frame moving just in time to catch her standing up. She cleared her throat a bit before speaking. "Kim... I've been in love with you for five years and we've been together for four, they've been the best years of my life." She went on a bit but the camera zoomed in on Mark, mouthing everything she said as if she had forgotten her lines, making it clear he had something to do with this. It refocused on Kim, both hands over her mouth as she realized what was happening.

  She took a deep breath before finishing "I just... I wanna spend the rest of my life with you, I know that. Kim will you marry me?" Kim was just silent for a moment, speechless. Once snapping back to reality she quickly nodded "Yes! Yes absolutely I will!" She smiled brightly as she stood up. Pretty much everyone clapped, except Jon of course who had his hands full, and Eduardo couldn't be bothered. This is where it cuts to a different scene.

   Three or four months later, the inside of Edd's house. He and Tom were cleaning in the background while Tord talked to the camera. "We volunteered our house to be the place everyone prepares and gets everything ready so we can go together." He explained, gesturing to the room behind him. The shot focused on Tom for a moment "Hey, why do you need to film this part anyway?" Before Jon could even answer Edd cut in "because this is where all the wedding stuff is happening, he should be here if he wants to get the whole story!"

   The camera turned back to Tom "Yeah pretty much" Jon explained. The eyeless male just shook his head a little as he emptied the dusk pan "Alright alright, if you say so. Hey Tord, we're supposed to be cleaning what are you doing?" The shot refocused on Tord who scoffed "Well what about Jon's stupid thing!? I needed to explain!" "It's about  us cleaning though!" Tord frowned, sighing "Fine, geez"

   Cut to the next scene, Tom and Matt sitting on the ground with a bunch of Matt's stuff on the coffee table, Edd and Tord watching TV on the couch. "What's the problem??" Matt sounded frustrated as Tom pulled his hand away "Oh com'on, I agreed to let you do it I should at least get to pick the color." He complained, gesturing to all the nail polish. "Fine fine, what color do you want then?" "Do you have black?" Matt just rolled his eyes.

   "Oh! You see that!" Tom looked at the  camera and pointed at Matt "That mean 'No Tom, you can't have black nails'!" "Please don't look into the camera-" there was a knock at the door and everyone got quiet. "Can you get that?" Matt leaned back and looked at Tord, who just shook his head. "Jon would you get it then?" "I can film you getting getting it." Matt glared at him just beyond the camera before turning towards the door " IT'S OPEN!" Tom raised an eyebrow "is it?" Matt just shrugged in response as the door opened to show Eduardo and Mark shortly after.

   "Hey!" Matt beamed, standing up and completely abandoning Tom. He took the bag Mark had been holding that contained his suit for the wedding, Eduardo also had one.

   The camera had focused on Eduardo who was closing the door. "Hey, we uh, brought our outfits because you said not to wear them here so we could get ready together, it.... it's gonna be fun" He said it would be fun but he sounded... incredibly uncomfortable. It cut to him sitting at the counter with his drink, hands together.

   "They told us to come over so we could all have fun together and help each other stay on track to get there on time. I didn't say no. Who would say no to something like that? Probably a cold, off-putting, incompatible person. The kind of person that would turn a sleepover into a... a stoning." He went quiet for a few seconds, no longer looking the camera, now just down at his own hands. "I had... rocks thrown as me. Biblical, pointy, jagged, hateful rocks and that's not gonna happen again." He looked into the camera again and everything was quiet for another second before Jon shut off the camera again.

  The door swung open and Laurel came it, gorgeous black dress and huge smile "HEEY!" She shouted, holding a big bag out to Tom who shouted back, taking it and gasping as he looked inside. "Oh my god your a life saver" He said as he hugged her and she laughed, moving away after a second "yes yes, I know, your welcome." She looked over at Jon, acknowledging the camera with a small nod before looking

Past it at him and smiling. She looked back to Tom as he spoke "I'm not aloud to keep more than two bottles in the house anymore." "Yeah, Hey why aren't you guys ready we have like thirty minutes till the wedding starts!" She put her hands on her hips and looked around. "OOOOH WE PADDED THE TIME!" Edd cheered before highfiving Tord. "What??" "Yeah! We knew you would show up late so we gave you the wrong time!" All three off them laughed and she went to the kitchen with Tom where they made everybody drinks.

   "Are you sure we should drink before the wedding?" He asked as Tom handed him the cherry drink he had asked for. "I'm sure it will be alright. Don't worry." He patted Edd's head and gave a small reassuring smile. Jon didn't have anything to drink because he didn't want it to affect the movie.

   It cut to all of them sitting on the ground playing 'never have I ever' Eduardo seemed a lot less stressed now that he had something to drink. In fact he and Edd hadn't even gotten in a fight the whole time, they seemed to be getting along pretty well even.

   It cut to Tom sitting in the bean bag chair, talking to the camera. "You see, "friends" isn't really an adequate word y'know? These guys are the closest thing I have to family anymore, minus Tord of course. But it's beautiful, because you don't need perfect people to have a good dynamic. You just need people who's flaws fit into each other! I know there's a word for it..." "Codependence." Matt cut in, being ignored "Synergy!  That's the one, Synergy. Like. Tord and Edd would probably have a really  hard time on their own, but together with each others help it's fine." "You just defined codependence." "Mmm, I don't know. I think it's synergy."

   It cut back to everyone, Laurel trying to pressure Tom into telling the story of how he lost his virginity because they had been taking turns but he didn't wanna. The camera focused in on Tord and Matt, Tord who was smiling and taking a sip from his drink. "Y'know it's good that you guys padded the time so much, everyone's been having a great time." Matt smiled, looking down at the other "Yeah, and we still have like an hour to play around..." it got quiet for a second as they both realized that didn't add up. "Wait... how is that even possible? "What time is the wedding?" "What time is it now!?"

   After a few seconds of them both, admittedly kind of frantically, checking their phones they looked at each other once it hit. "You guys were late! The wedding started and one! Matt shouted getting everyone's attention. Jon quickly turned the camera, prepared to get everyone's reaction but the immediate chaos and panic cought him completely off guard, nearly knocking him over as everyone rushed to get everything and go. Thankfully almost everyone was ready, Tom had to pit on his overcoat but other than that it was fine.

  Matt and Mark were wearing matching suits and Tom refused to put on a tie, Tord had black dress pants and a white dress shirt with a red overcoat, Edd had a light green dress with a puffy skirt. Eduardo wearing a dull green dress shirt and black pants, Jon in a suit that Mark had picked out for him but he didn't like the shoes that came with it so he just wore his sneakers. (This part is so unesasarry but I enjoyed so it's staying fuck you)

   It cut to everyone rushed out the door, Tom shouting. The door slammed shut with the faint sound of everyone talking about which car they were gonna take and ride in. Suddenly it swung back open to reveille Tom "JON WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU STILL DOING IN HERE COME ON YOU TOO!" the camera shook as Jon ran out the door as well "right sorry sorry-"

   It cut to the behind the wedding ceremony as they had gotten there while it was happening. The camera was on the ceremony, zooming in on Kim and Katya, clearly Jon was trying his best. Bing was the one who they has officiating the union. "We are gathered here today to witness the union Oh Katya and Kimberly in the eyes of... well whatever power you choose. Personally I find the notion of choosing to be needlessly limited. What if I'm capable of total contradiction, what if science and religion were MINE to weild as I chose? What if I'm God! What if I... AM GOD!" The crowd was speechless and Larry was frantically wavving his hands, trying to make him stop. Bing cleared his throat "it is likely that I am not, but I think it's totally out of line to take that possibility off the table! Now um, I understand that vows have been written?"

   The others loudly shushed each other and did their best to get to the seats, Laurel drunkenly tripping on the bushes and laughing as Tom helped her up, also laughing quietly. The camera angle stayed back, getting the whole scene as Edd and Tord eventually found their seats. Edoardo just sat on the grass. Almost everyone was staring at them while the girls said their vows. "Beautiful, I now pronounce you misses and misses Dupont, you may kiss."

   The camera zoomed in specifically on them when Kat wrapped her arms around Kim and kissed her, both of them smiling brightly. Everyone cheered, especially Matt. He was being a lot louder than he probably should have been, but his heart was in the right place.

   It cut to everybody inside the building, enjoying the party. The shot was of the group was sitting at a table towards the back wall. "Y'know, after the whole being late thing I was worried, but I'm pretty sure we're nailing this." Mark said before taking a sip from the drink he had gotten from the bar. Everyone agreed, congratulating each other before being interrupted by a woman who walked over. She looked to be in her late 50's, dirty blond hair and around the same hight as Tord.

   "Hey there!" She asked seeming almost too positive. "Oh hello! Are you Kim's mom?" Edd asked smiling. "Oh I sure am! I don't know if you bunch noticed but you sorta... fucked up the whole ceremony back there." She chuckled a bit despite how taken back Edd was "It's none of my business of course, I just don't want my daughter to kill herself, so you know, do what you gotta do!" She gave him two thumbs up as she said that last part and the camera followed her as she walked away before focusing back on the others. They were silent.

   "...Yikes." Matt mumbled. Tom shook his head a little bit "No, no, she was right. That very passive aggressive woman had a point. This isn't about us, and we need to stop ruining it. Let's actually just do something normal and right for once."

   It cut to a scene of Laurel talking to the camera, now the only one at the table. "Y'know we got checked, hard. But like Tom said, it was pretty deserved. So I started picking up our pride and putting it back together. But weirdly enough the first peice of our pride I picked up was... my own." It cuts to a shot of her on the dance floor, her voicing over the scene. "And it went fine, I danced with Kat's little cousins and it seems like they had a lot of fun."

   It shows a shot of her playing with two little kids, holding the little boy's hand while he danced, cheering him on. "It felt great to break off on my own for a little while, it's like you can't be a complete person on your own, and be part of a group at the same time." It cuts back to her talking, not to the camera though, she was looking past it at Jon. "Does that make sense? No?? Well whatever, that's your problem." She laughed and ran a hand through her hair before letting out a sigh and hugging Jon, causing him to stumble back a little. "I love you so much." "O-ok ok, um, I don't know if you put your hands there on purpose or if your just drunk but I need to go film the others, so please get your hands off my butt."

   It cuts to a scene of Katya cutting the cake and helping some of the younger guests to get some and being careful not to eat any on her dress, then cuts to Edd and Eduardo sitting at one of the tables talking, the camera far enough to have them both in the shot.

   "I ussualy don't like parties to much but this isn't bad, I pushed Kat's 90 year old memaw around the dance floor earlier, and I think she liked it!" Edd smiled while explaining. Eduardo thought for a second then put his fork down "Wait... I thought that was Polly?" "No no, aunt Polly is on Kim's side, I haven'tmet her. Gosh, do you think she saw me dancing with memaw and feels bad?" His smile faded and he went to stand up "I'll be right back-" but was cut off before he could "Edd, the world will still need youbafter you finish your cake." Edu teased, taking a bite of his own food. "Am I really that bad?" He asked as he sat all the way back down, half joking.

  Eduardo shook his head "Look, everyone has a dragon. Eventually you train it, or slay it, or desolve in its stomach. Yours is helping others." Edd stayed quite for another second, his face slightly scrunching up "If I train it can I give it a cooler name?" "If you train it you can do whatever you want with it, it you slay it I don't know... I think then you get a new dragon called 'yourself' and you'd be Matt." They both laughed at that "Yeah, that guy needs help" Edd saifbstill chuckling softly before going quiet as he thought about it more. When Eduardo realized he was losing him he snapped his fingers to get his attention again, knowing if he did attempt to "help" Matt it would end in disaster "Hey I have an idea! How about we make a list of dragon names?" "Oh yeah!" Edd agreed quickly, smiling once again.

    It cuts to Eduardo talking to the camera, near the doorframe that lead outside. " 'and then we need to get you away from Matt!' Is what I wanted to say, but their dynamic is none of my business so I'll just do what I can for now then leave it be." He let out a light chuckle  before looking away for a second, then past the camera at Jon "You don't uh, show these to people when they're done right?" He asked raising an eyebrow. "No I don't." Jon answered, clearly lying as you seeing it right now. "Ok cool... then why do you make them??" "Um..."

   It cuts to one last shot of them writing down a bunch of dragon on a piece of notebook paper. They were talking but you couldn't hear what they were saying. It then cuts to Mark and Tord sitting at the bar, Mark had a scotch and Tord had a cup full of olives he was eating.

   There was a crash near the door and everyone looked. It was the best man, Kat's brother. He was supposed to give a speech but had apparently relapsed and was beyond black out drunk trying to push past the security guard "LET ME IN! I HAVE THE RIGHT TO SEE MY SISTER!!" He kicked and shouted but was easily lifted and carried out.

   It cut to Tord talking to the camera "So, the best man was meant to give a toast but can't and everyone was really worried right? Well, I talked to Kim's mom and said it was the least I could do after our behavior today." He put down his drink- well, his olive cup. "And I'm not gonna do this like all the other speeches I give, no, this is gonna be real, a thing of substance, not just fancy words to get what I want. This matters. I talked to the others who have been mingling the whole time, and Mark my words when I say this, we are gonna be the first guests in history to out toast the entire fucking wedding party!" He slammed his hand on the table "God I love my job! Wait this isn't my job, God I love myself!"

   It cuts to all the guests sitting down and one girl handing off the microphone and sitting down. The camera was filming Tord walk up there and take it, but you cloud hear Tom and Laurel talking since Jon was sitting at a table with them. "Oh my god that was so awkward-" "Right!? No matter what Tord dies it won't be that bad. Was she trying to be funny???" "I honestly don't know, be quiet he's starting.

  "That was Kim's friend Andy everyone. Next up we have the replacement best man, Tord Dahl, a friend and neighbor of both Kim and Katya!" Some of the crowd cheered. "Now, I've known you guys for quite some time now, and I can tell you really care about each other, I genuinely believe you gonna last, as long as you never let Andy babysit. Or go near a child. Or be in the same country as a pair of scissors. This girl is a mess." That got a pretty big laugh from the crowd. "Do you think he's being too mean?" Tom's voice asked "No no, they needed this. Andy's toast majorly brought down the mood, he's doing good."

   "The whole point of a wedding is merging two lives," the camera focused in on Kim and Katya and Kat grabbed wife's hand, smiling "and that means two families are leaving here tonight as one. That's a big deal! My and my friends showed up here ad outsiders but we spent the night learning about these two wonderful families. I learned for example, Kim's uncle Tony is a photographer, but Tony did you know that Katya's friend Lawrence makes and sells frames? You guys should talk get some business going! And Kat's friend Taylor, she loves vintage cars right, well Taylor guess what, Kim's chiropractor brought her dad and he worked an automobile factory in the 60s! These are the kinds of things you learn being the biggest jerks at a wedding!" Again, the crowd laughed.

   "That's amazing right? From now on forever all these people are one big family, all thanks to these two wonderful women right here. Congratulations." He finished, handing the microphone to Kim and walking off, a decent applause following. The camera followed him to where he sat next to Edd, who seemed very excited and proud.

   It cuts to the ladies dancing, Kat quietly complaining about how hard it was to dance properly in the dress, making her bride laugh. It zooms out a bit to show plenty of other people, most in pairs or groups since it was a pretty slow song. It just stayed like that for a moment, the quiet music and soft talking could be heard. Laurel's voice could be heard from out of frame "Hey, I know your busy with the whole documentary thing, but the dj said this was the third last song she was gonna play and I wanted to know if you wanted to come dance?" The frame fell just a bit, now slightly off center "Oh uh, I don't know-" "Come on, it'll be fun I'll help you."

   It was quiet for another second. "... yeah. Yes I'd like to do that." "Yeah?" "Yeah. Thank you, lemme just turn this thing off-"
