Make Reading Fun For Your Kids At Home Within A Week! [New Proven Methods]
Did you know that the only way to increase one’s IQ when they get older is through the power of reading? However, to many individuals, reading can be seen as a useless and boring activity, especially for kids.
Parents struggle daily to motivate their children to engage in literary activities, so this article will ensure helpful tips that will change your child’s perspective and view reading as a fun hobby. In order to motivate your child to read, parents need to think outside the box and find creative ways to allow their kids to enjoy this leisure pursuit.
Method #1
A helpful and creative suggestion could be reading in the dark. Have you or your child ever seen a movie where the kid hides under the sheet with a flashlight and reads their favourite novel or comic book, while their parents are watching television downstairs?

Well, this is exactly what we mean, get involved in building your child a fort out of sheets, give them a flashlight or an attachable book light and watch those pages fly!
Method #2
Providing healthy competition with various activities is always a motivating factor for children; this is why using a reading log or chart helps kids to see their progression which results in them wanting to read more.
By keeping a log of how many pages your child reads daily, it pushes them to beat that score and read more pages the following day; thus, resulting in numerous books being read throughout the month.
Tumblr media
In order to keep them interested and motivated to read daily, give them a reward at the end of the week or month if they have completed the task of reading a certain amount of pages a week or a number of books a month. This chart makes for healthy competition and allows them to take initiative to always better themselves when it comes to reading. Don’t you want to see the rewarding smile on your & your child’s face?
Yes! I want my child to become an amazing reader.
Method #3
When recalling one of our favourite parent/child moments growing up, bedtime stories would always be in the top ten list. This is why reading to your children is another helpful tip that makes reading fun. Children enjoy the enthusiasm in their parent’s voice when reading their favourite book, and also the obvious dedication that parents show towards their kids.
Tumblr media
Allow your child to choose their favourite book one week and then have a parent choose the following week, which gives room for variation in genre, age, and education level.
Yes! I want my child to become an amazing reader.
Method #4
Reading can be seen as adventurous, especially when children have activity books, which provide a variety of tools and games along with the book to make reading fun.
For younger kids or toddlers, colouring books with tear-out pages or mazes are always fun and a creative way of learning, with the added bonus of learning how to read by providing a sentence at the top of the page describing the illustration that needs to be coloured in.
Tumblr media
Other types of exciting activity books that may appeal to an older audience are books with excavation kits or building a replica model, where children must search for buried treasure or fossils with the tools provided, while still engaging in the exciting book that outlines all the great facts of dinosaurs, Egypt, aeroplanes, etc.
Method #5
Finally, we come to the last method on how to make reading fun for children, and that is through electronics such as tablets, mobiles or laptops. Electronics that helps kids read are a dime a dozen these days, whether it is Leap Frog, Fun with Phonics, sub-products such as Tag, Tag Junior, Fridge Phonics, AlphaPet Explorer, and the list goes on. This is the best way among all of the above in the 21st century to make your kid an amazing reader faster than other kids at the home.
Tumblr media
These electronics are aimed at promoting reading in children, however, it is essential that your child only uses it moderately, considering there are many other forms of reading that they should be involved in.
It is evident that there are many creative ways to make reading fun for children, but parents need to take the initiative to get involved in their child’s literary lifestyle because that is the only way a child would remain motivated. As a responsible parent, don’t you want to make your child an amazing reader for the bright future?
Yes! I want my child to become an amazing reader.

Now It Has Become Very Essential “Reading Early” To Your Small Child [Help Your Child]
Reading is an essential activity for anyone, and the reason being is because it helps to enhance many lifelong skills. Reading allows one to develop a longer attention span, it promotes language acquisition, vocabulary and syntax development, and it helps one to identify and accurately develop emotional intelligence and character development.
Reading early to your children is necessary for them to attain excellence in literacy. Regardless of one’s mother or father does not have the highest level of education, the environment that a child is raised in far surpasses the genetic makeup.
Tumblr media
In this case of nature vs. nurture, nurture (the environment) is a sure winner. If a parent engages in literary activities such as singing and enunciating letters, reading to her child/ embryo, taking the child to the library, or even playing rhyming games, then it all enforces a higher education level for the child.
Have you ever wondered how babies are so intelligent as to identify their parents’ voice? The reason being is because most parents read to their fetus during pregnancy, thus, displaying a bonding process between parent and child.
Many individuals criticize this approach; however, it has been proven that there are distinct benefits from reading early with your children. Regardless of your baby or fetus will not understand what you are saying they will gain familiarity from the tone and syntax of your voice, with an added benefit of being attracted to bright colours, big shapes, and pretty pictures.
Another reason why reading early to children is essential is because it promotes early development in areas of social, language, and cognitive skills, which are basic foundations for social interaction within the world.
Children who have acquired necessary reading skills in these areas can be seen as socially healthy, and are individuals who are easily adaptable, productive, and responsible throughout their adult life. So take the initiative to help your child soar in the land of literacy because it is never too early to start reading!
Yes! I want to help my child to become an amazing reader
It's now crucial more than ever to be actively teaching your child to read as early as you possibly can not leaving your child's entire future and success in life up to the education system alone.
Now it's important to remember that often when a child fails in school in nearly every case it's not your fault, it's actually the education system that's failed your child. This could not be more true when it comes to the way schools teach reading today.
Research has shown that associating reading at a young age will build a foundation of enjoyment for literacy and allow your child to be familiar and comfortable with the written word.
A personal experience story showcasing the benefit of reading early to your child can be seen with Mike and his wife Maria, who started with the simple yet very effective & powerful Reading Headstart Program with their daughter Emma when she was only of 18 months age.
They decided to make a regular activity of 15 minutes at the home with the Reading Headstart Program to condition their child to associate with fun learning reading activities of the program, which in turn would help her see activities as enjoyable and make her learn to read sooner than other children.
Tumblr media
It takes an around a week to condition your child with Reading Headstart Program but the efforts you put to make your child read at a young age will forever remain as a strong foundation of a bright future.
Maria was completely taken by surprise one day just after few weeks spending with that Reading Headstart Program when Emma was about to turn to 19 months. Emma started to read words like “cow”, “dog”, “cat”, etc when Maria flashed them to her. It was truly the happiest and proudest moment for her life!
Now Emma is in 2nd grade and Maria feels so proud of her daughter and herself for providing a great value to Emma. Her daughter has gained so much in terms of her intellectual, psychological and emotional developments since she started to read.
Consistent engaging efforts with your child with Reading Headstart Program will make reading an enjoyable event between parent and child just within a week where children gain an appreciation for literacy while snuggled under a blanket with their beloved mother or father.
Yes! I want to help my child to become an amazing reader
Incorporating language and literacy into a child’s life is generally started at the toddler and pre-school age range; however, research has shown that it is never too early to begin reading to your children and now you can begin with the simple but proven Reading Headstart Program who has helped already almost 10,000 parents till the date and you can also be one among them if you really want a bright future for your child.
Tumblr media
Now as a responsible parent to your child, it is completely up to you whether you want to make your child an amazing reader to build a bright future for him/her, don’t you?
Yes! I want to help my child to become an amazing reader.

Crazy little 森 painters ! It’s cold already but earlier during the warmer autumn season, we used the leaves cut from the playground, to paint ! This was after the kids declared me the forest lady, covering me with leaves. I had some EVERYWHERE in my hair guys ! Yo ! Ahah Kids absolutely LOVED this activity (of course !) it was tricky with the wind though, and we ended up painting a small area of the playground... oops... 😬💦 . (Ft.
