On this day in 1919, Queen Mary went with Queen Maud to meet new tenants on the Sandringham Estate. They also spent time at Appleton House (Maud’s home on the estate) and spent time with Princess Victoria, where Maud took the above photographs of Mary and Victoria. Upon returning home, Queen Mary began to compose a letter to her son Bertie (future George VI) who was stationed in Belgium, but before The Queen finished writing, she received a phone call from Lala Bill, Prince John’s nanny. Mrs. Bill informed Her Majesty that Johnnie had suffered a severe epileptic fit and had passed away in his sleep. The Queen rushed to the King and informed him of the shocking news. They immediately drove to Wood Farm where their 13-year-old son lay peacefully. Much later that evening, The Queen finished her letter to Bertie. My take on recent events pt1

So recently, yesterday, my friend Claudia (@kkukolka, now @anastyaaaaa) was banned and left Tumblr. Due to the mass/false reporting and constant harassment from one blog, @kinggeorgev-queenmary (former windsormob, king-george-v-queen-mary, BelaDJ1 and other accounts)

She has harassed us through intimidating tactics such as malicious anonymous asks and DMS in excess, and in the case of Claudia, reporting. And after this, I will no longer sit in silence while you try to put down my friends over petty drama because we won't validate your obsession with a dead man.

False reporting:

Why did you report this Windsormob? Is it because you were upset that you're being held accountable for your actions. Is it okay to falsely report until I do it? Then I'm a "stalker bully." Mhmm 'kay.

Today marks 122 years since Queen Victoria died thus ending her remarkable reign and ushering in a new reign led her by her eldest son and heir Albert Edward who would become King Edward VII only ruling for nine years before he would be succeeded by his only surviving son and heir George V would not only lead England through World War I but also peace while at the same time changing the name of the family house from his father and grandfather Saxe-Coburg Gotha to Windsor as a means of trying to heal in the country together during the brutal years of World War I. What none of them knew was that George’s eldest son and heir Edward would throw the dynasty into a crisis by abdicating the throne just 35 years later to marry Wallis Simpson which ultimately led to his second son succeeding and his daughter who was their descendant Elizabeth Alexandra Mary passing Victoria and her reign to become the longest reigning monarch in history. All three of them would be proud of her especially Victoria as she was able to do exactly what she did which was put The Crown first just like Charles and William are doing right now during a time of crisis.
