Stropharia rugoso-annulata Or commonly know as like...five names but we like to call it the Wine Cap, hence the luxurious burgundy matte hue of the cap on these huge mushrooms. I love growing this mushroom and now that the snows are thawing, & the sleeping garden reveals itself, I’m reminded what lies ahead in the coming months! Slowly awakening and thus the mycelium does too. You can grow this mushroom for food and for soil health! It’s the easiest!
