Fri 1st Feb 19. Day 2 of our brother Kisione aka Senete Savelio's #funeral The 2nd Failotu- #praying. We were honoured to have the presence of Mrs. Polotu Paunga. It was a heart warming service. Very moving. Lots of people, including Senete's father Kalio and his #families from Lapaha brought food. We gave them all back to the people that came for the failotu as take away. God works in mysterious ways. Today is my #birthday in America. Today is when our older brother Kisione aka Senete Savelio passed away last week. But, I cannot fathom how my 2 passing brothers - Roy Cook last November in California & Senete last week here in Tonga, would bring Mrs. 'Ainise Hakavalu to our home. I have never met Ainise before, nor did I hear about her. 'Ainise, is a relative of my passing older brother Roy Cook's wife. Roy Cook's 2 daughters - Leisa & Holeva, were looking after Senete here in Tonga. They chose to stay in Tonga to look after Senete rather than flying to USA to farewell their father. Because of them, that is why Ainise is here. Anyway, yesterday, 'Ainise brought me to tears. Ainise does odd jobs here & there to earn a living. I already complimented her for her great help & assistance during the funeral. She was like superwoman. Everything done in a flash. It's the kind of person that u would hire for any job & would do anything to keep her/him. She is just awesome. So out of the blue yesterday, she handed me a #birthday #birthdaycard with a $10 in it. She is a distant relative who doesn't have much, but she gave away, probably all she had at the time to me, for my birthday. We are blessed to have known her & to be with her here at home. The more we listened & learned about her, the more we are thanking Jesus for her quick wit, work ethic, dedication, honesty, care and love. We are so grateful. We thank you Ainise & u are inspirational to us all. Thank you Lord for blessing me with another year. I am forever grateful & so thankful. Decided to get up at 5 AM to go to the Rosary at 0530 then Mass at 0600. My older brother Ned Cook woke up at the same time & we went together. A precious moment. After church, I went & said hello to Departed older brother Kisione aka Senete Savelio at Kalevalio cemetery. I walked back home. I felt in peace, content, and complete.
