I'm glad you mentioned Rebooted, because yea, that scene seems to be what everyone is basing this version of Kai off of. But he was like 16 in that season. Absolutely no reason to believe he would still act like that.

And EVERYTHING you said about Kai and Skylor was on point. He never "picked someone new" just because she wasn't there. And we also see that he used any chance he could to get to see her (like in Hands of Time).

I'm not even a Kailor shipper, but I will defend them when it comes to defending Kai as a non cheater because he'd NEVER cheat on her (or anyone else)/

Can I just talk about how much I dislike fanfictions where the premise is: "Kai cheats on Skylor with Cole" or "Kai cheats on Cole with Skylor"?

Because FIRSTLY: Kai would not fucking do that™️

And secondly: I don't like that it perpetuates the stereotype that bisexuals are cheaters!! It's a harmful stereotype and it seems that the sole reason many people write fanfiction like this is because a lot of us headcanon Kai as bisexual.

I feel like there's nuance to this topic and like maybe it could work if it's not just "Kai's an asshole who just likes sleeping around" but that's what most of them end up being and it makes me sad.
