Woe fankids be upon ye

Doing a little series where I took some ship requests on my instagram to make them fankids, this one is for me tho (jeanlisa to kick it off whoo 🙌🏻) The lineup so far is Cytham, Kavetham, Lionfish (aka Freminet x Gaming aged up probably idk how old they are canonically), Cynonari, Jealuc, and Beiguang, and feel free to send me some other pairings you wanna see (as long as they are legal pls otherwise I will ignore it 👎)

I'm gonna ramble about some headcanons and lore for them under the cut, continue with caution bc I'm insane

These two are my brainrot rn, don't even joke lad. And I wanna tell yall their name meanings too bc I like them a lot 🥹 Zephra's means "west wind" derived from Greek, and it's the feminine version of Zephyr. Tyrian was a type of purple dye used by the Ancient Phoenicians, huge huge HUGE thanks to my pookie bear @miothefish for helping me out with his name!!! Also he has Lisa's butterfly earring and you can't see bc of the angle but Zephra has the rose that went in her hair holding her ponytail <3

I'm also making a massive family tree for the characters as a go along, and just the jeanlisa tree is taking up half of the canvas bc of the KoF and Sumeru characters since Cyno is their uncle and the rest of the gang are their honorary uncles 😭 I'll be posting that once the series is done/all the requests are finished/I run out of ships and otps I enjoy

Here's an alternative version with some more info on most of the characters I wanted to briefly mention in their relation to them; Tyrian likes calling Eula his aunt too even though she was never really considered one for them so it's kind of like her unofficial title she pretends to dislike but she loves it and dotes on Tyrian 🤭 She and Diluc also helped train Zephra with a claymore and Diluc kind of became a parental figure to her in her teen years after Lisa's passing 🥺 She also feels like she's outshined by Jean and that she's not smart or powerful enough to follow in Lisa's footsteps (something that Lisa wouldn't want anyways bc it led her to her death 😔) rip zephra she's just like me fr

And yeah some Kaeya angst bc he's still going thru it I fear, and Jean is single mombossing but she's worried for zephra which me too dawg, im afraid to say she might be cooked 😦 Zephra is also kind of like a weird mix of Lisa when she was her age and Jean, where overall she's well-mannered and kind but she can be competitive and feel the need to push herself too much and pull a few strings to get what she wants from time to time. Tyrian is a ray of sunshine tho, he has not yet witnessed the horrors 💔 I do think that Jean is also a lot easier on him than her mom was with her so that also helps. He's very shy tho and wants to stick with Zephra or Razor most of the time, and they both have some nasty tan lines from going out with Razor and Klee and Fischl a lot 😔 Cyno also freaking loves them and dotes on them and Tyrian is getting a TCG addiction because of it smh, Cyno is also one of Zephra's favorite people and when she's in Sumeru she stays with him and Alhaitham (bc in my universe they are married ough I love cytham)

And (I think?) Klee physically and mentally ages slower than humans so I think she'd be technically 9 or 10, and Zephra is left with babysitting duty most of the time if she's home on break or smth 😭 Klee really looks up to her tho

Also, I wrote Tyrian's last bullet point like he was super young when Lisa died, but I think he was around 7 so he actually remembers Lisa better than I intended it to sound, he was just younger than Zephra (who was 11 at the time) and just didn't have as much time with her as Zeph did, but his most fond memory of Lisa was reading with her and she probably taught them some potion-making skills too.

I think there will be some abyss angst in here too at some point, since I hc Lisa to be probably an Abyss Lector/Harold (I forget which is which) um so thinking that Zeph and Tyrian experiencing some not normal things happening and Jean doesn't know what to do since Lisa also didn't really know what that dog in her was until it was too late 😔 That's what Kaeya's for tho since he's like the heir of the abyss???? Go off king. Also some touchy ragbros angst bc Kaeya is scared for Zeph knowing how close she is with Luc and he doesn't want him to push her away because of her being from the abyss or smth (they mostly made up but it's still a fear in Kaeya's mind both for him and Jean's kids)

I think that's all I wanted to touch on for now?? Mainly just thinking about domestic fluff and angst all the time now 🥺 Zeph not being able to be open with Jean bc she feels like a disappointment but Jean would literally actually die for her and shes proud of her no matter what ough im going to lose my freak dawg guess who my favorite fankid is it's super hard ik

Note: *taps mic* Hello, hello, does this thing still work? Hell yeah I'm back, in true Fern fashion with some soft Albedo because that's my jam :) Hope you enjoy!

Albedo never really cared for love. It was a foreign concept for him that he only read about in books, but nothing more than that. Nothing worth his time when he's always so busy with research and experiments, and important things like discovering the truth of this world (Or at least discovering what that's supposed to mean.) Between all that, there's no time for butterflies and anxiety, and whatever else the romance novels describe. Not to mention, it seems like love makes other people act a little silly.

Like Glory, who sits there day in and day out talking about how she can't wait for Godwin to come home, when probably everyone in Mondstadt knows that the very man she was waiting now has been meandering just outside of town for months, too scared to come back due to stupid pride, even tho he knows that his fiancé is scared out of her mind for him. Or Timaeus, who scribbles love poems next to his alchemy notes and gets distracted all the time, not even noticing when the potions he was mixing are threatening to boil over. Love seems to make people lose all sense, so Albedo has decided that he's better off without it.

Maybe that's why, as the two of you grew closer, he didn't recognize the signs at all, despite having read and heard about them so many times. The infamous butterflies that make him feel weird things whenever you smile at him. The way he suddenly falls into a daze while working as well, breaking out of it only to find small doodles of your face littered all across his notes. Or how sometimes his every thought gets consumed by a deep desire to just wrap his arms around you and never let go.

But love is such a foreign concept, so far out of his grasp that surely, that can't be it, right?

It's an innocent comment from Klee that makes him question his feelings for the first time.

"Big brother Albedo?" she asks, looking up at him with big eyes as they're walking home one day.

"What is it, Klee?" He smiles down at her.

"Can we invite y/n to our picknick tomorrow? Please?"

Albedo is a little taken aback. Usually Klee deeply treasures their little family outings. She refuses to let anyone get between her private time with Albedo, to a point where she even rejected Kaeya's request to tag along once. "You really like y/n a lot, huh?" He asks with a small chuckle. "I never saw you try to invite someone along to our outings."

"I like that they make you smile. It makes Klee happy too", the little girl responds, like it's the most obvious thing in the world. "Also, they make really good snacks so I want them to bring some to our picknick." She adds it more like an afterthought, like it's only secondary to her other reason.

Maybe it meant nothing to Klee, but it leaves Albedo thinking. Does he really smile that much when he's around you? People have commented before that he only ever genuinely smiles when he's around Klee, but no one has ever pointed out the same with you. Although, now that it's been called to his attention... He really does feel a lot happier around you. There's something about you that makes it easy for him to let down his guard. It's a strange realization and he still doesn't understand the meaning of it, but he takes a mental note of it and decides that it requires further investigation.

From that day onward, you're always invited to the family outings with Klee and Albedo. It becomes perfectly natural, like you've always been there. Like it's always been just the three of you, exploring Mondstadt together, having fun little picknicks or arts and crafts afternoons.

It's on one of these days that the realization finally hits Albedo. You're sitting on Albedo's couch, Klee fast asleep in your arms while he makes a cup of tea for the both of you. Albedo watches as you run a hand through the girl's hair, a gentle smile on your face as she snuggles closer into your arms. The soft glow of a candle bathes you in a warm light and he's overcome with the familiar urge to join you, to pull you into his arms and hold you close. That urge has been getting a lot more frequent lately, and he was never able to fully make sense of it.

But at this moment, something clicks for him. The urge to be close to you. The thought of how beautiful you look consuming his mind. The smile still tugging at his lips. The butterflies threatening to burst through his chest. All the pieces fall into place and the realization hits him out of nowhere.

He's in love with you.

Albedo x reader: normal nights

Albedo x GN!reader as always

Time with the alchemist can be hard to come by. Not for a lack of trying but rather for the fact that Albedo is always either working or taking care of his sister. Klee, however, had already decided she would drag Albedo to you or vice versa because she wanted both of her big siblings to play with her.

Catching crystalflies is a task that the little elf girl always asked you to help her with. It was interesting and quite adorable, watching her run around and try not to throw bombs at everything that looks like it could be blown apart. 

Albedo, on the other hand, always sits back and watches you run around with Klee. Sketches abound whenever Klee and yourself were able to whisk him away from work. The one sight that Albedo never gets tired of…watching you lit up by the glow of the just risen moon. The crystalflies and the fireflies working in tandem to light you up in the most fascinating way.

Truly a work of art. Albedo felt that he could never quite capture just how ethereal you looked while laughing and playing with his little sister. That does not mean he will ever stop trying.

The laughter of his lover and the giggles of his little sister prompt the alchemist to stop and look up at his two favorite people. 

"Oh, and what might have sparked your humor?"

Albedo looks at his lover and his sister in turn, only to see them both holding rings of flowers. One of brilliant Cecilias and a much smaller one, of what look to be daisies. 

"Big bro! Look at what we made you!" Klee enthusiastically calls out. 

Klee trots over to him and motions him to stay seated and to bend over slightly. She might be growing but she still isn't that tall. 

Albedo acquiesced to Klees request and bent forward slightly, knowing what she planned to do. Truly, only Klee and his lover thought that Cecilias make such good flower crowns. 

Klee giggles and pulls you over and excitedly clamors about your gift. 

"I tried something a little different this time bedo."

You sat down in front of Albedo and pull your knees up in front of you. You gingerly propped his wrist up on your knees and begin to knot the rest of the flowers together with his wrist in the middle.

Albedo truly never got tired of you. Especially the softness of your touch and the gentleness with which you handle him and Klee. Albedo cannot stop the words that fall from his lips.

"Magnificent." You weren't sure why he thinks this bracelet of daisies if Magnificent but it wasn't like you were going to turn down a compliment from the chief alchemist.

"It's nothing special bedo." Your voice rings in his ears and he sees the embarrassment in the flicker of your eyes that look at him with such love.

"I was talking about you." He says it so casually that you stay in front of him for a brief moment in shock.

"Oh…" you spring up and look around for Klee. Following your gaze, he spots his little sister jumping up and down with joy at having found a small cluster of hydro slimes to kaboom.

Sensing your gaze, he nods. 

"Let us go stop her from creating a crater in the earth, quickly now."

There truly is never boring day with you and his little sister around. Albedo casts his mind back to before his new found family and shudders at the cold of the memories. Life had blossomed into something so vibrant and beautiful. 

A blessing that the alchemist will never take for granted. His little family…

Introduction

Guide to Teyvat University!

This is a guide to the Modern AU of Genshin Impact so people don’t get confused and so I won’t forget. I’m posting a lot I know, writing is the way for me to get my mind of things and I don’t sleep much. Also note that the layout of the school is heavily based on my school, the different buildings and classes.

⚠️!THIS GUIDE WILL BE UPDATED WHENEVER GENSHIN IMPACT UPDATES TO! ⚠️

CHARACTER INFO

Let’s start off with the dead people. For example, Himmel Venti’s dead friend.

Himmel is Alive and well he just doesn’t go to Teyvat Uni cause he didn’t get excepted into the school. Though he does go to Celestial College that’s a few hours away from Teyvat.

Same goes for Tomo, didn’t get excepted into the school so he went to another. Both do visit their friends pretty often, Himmel visits more than Tomo. I would like to say that Tomo is the reason why Kazuha has an obsession with y/n. Can’t really say the same with Himmel as he thinks Y/n is also cute. Causing Venti and him to have some fights every now and then.

Baal (is that how you spell it?) is the mother of scaramouche, Kunikuzushi, Raiden and the other person. She works at Teyvat Uni as a history teacher.

I said scaramouche and Kunikuzushi. Now I hear you say ‘Bitch they’re the same person.’ Not in my AU they’re not! Scaramouche and Kunikuzushi are Identical twins with different personalities. Kuni is the youngest out of the two and also the most naive. Scaramouche is the rebel one and the oldest. Scaramouche is protective of Kuni but still has that same attitude. Wanderer is not a person in this AU

The unknown god is the principal of the school. Heavenly principals, you can not expect me to not make her the principal of Teyvat Uni. She’s the type of person who doesn’t leave her office unless it’s time to go home. Not many people know her or her name so around school they call her ‘Unknown Principal’

Onto the kids of the game! The kids such as Klee, QiQi, YaoYao, and Sayu. They all go to Tevyat daycare that’s across of the university.

Klee is Albedos sister, QiQi is Hu Tao’s sister, YaoYao is Al-Haitham’s adoptive sister, Sayu is the Kamisato siblings adoptive sister. Paimon is the twins adoptive sister. Yeah a lot of Adoptions but I wanna give the kids a brother/sister. Also can’t forget the cat child that i totally didn’t forget the name. I don’t know who should be her sister/brother. I wanna make it Keaya and Diluc and have her not like them. I don’t know honestly.

The fatui, they are like the teachers. Except Scaramouche and Childe cause I say so. Dottore is the science teacher who people either love or hate no in between. Dottore also is the Teacher of Medical Science class. It’s a class where all they learn are medical stuff and stuff……I don’t want to say what they do since I’m traumatized by it. Pantalone is the Business and Management teacher (I have on in my school so imma add it). Sandrone is the art teacher, Columbina is the Drama teacher. That’s all I can think of right now.

SCHOOL LAYOUT

Different nations are just different buildings of the college. Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, and Sumeru are the ones that are already built with the Fontaine building being built. The one big building is the actual school where they go to class.

There’s a whole other building that’s just the lunch room and the library. The library is on the second floor of the building. Even though there’s small library’s in each dorm it’s more of a study area than a library.

Once again there’s another building for the theater and a small cafe in the same building.

It’s a huge school what do you expect?
