if i do go w sakonji being the owner im gonna pull that naruto gag for kakashi where every image of his face is perfectly obscured by some random object

#kny x tokyo ghoul au #urokodaki sakonji #m tryna think abt how to change the storyline enough to fit w new characters #^silly idea that popped up while i was doing that #i think im gonna go with tanjuro died- kie overworked herself- nezuko was caught in a horrible (orchestrated) accident tanjiro found her in-#she gets ghoul organ transplant and goes home- its a slower transition than in tkg first she gets sick of human food then after a bit #the taste catches up and she stops trying to eat entirely- tanjiro's extremely worried abt her health yadda yadda- she loses herself to #hunger and goes out- tanjiro follows her worried- she stumbles across the temple demon who attacks her-#tanjiro tries to attack him from behind but gets knocked away- giyuu kicks the ghoul's head off- tanjiro immediately #covers nezuko with his own body and begs him not to hurt thema- giyuu takes pause and sniffs. noticing tanjiro's human. also noricing how #hes protecting a ghoul- yadda yadda he ends up bringing them both to coffee shop where sakonji gives nezuko a package and sends them #off with a 'come back whenever you need more'- tanjiro is kinda. in denial. not really processing.#nezuko asks if shes a monster now and his heart breaks. he couldnt believe that no matter what.#he swears she'll never be a monster to him and he'll always be by her side- they get jobs (nezukos 'job') at coffee place #im thinking maybe shinobu to take up touka's place storywise? shes (passive)aggressive towards them (& giyuu<3)#need to rewatch the first 3 eps i skipped them (dumb move) but im also thinking enmu as Sir Freakass #dont know how im gonna integrate genya now #i think i can give him & sanemi touka & ayato's line w genya being. aggressive but not as actively hostile as sanemi #originally i was gonna make him halfsies like nezuko (might still? need some ccg bitches in here) w sanemi as a dove #something something theres NO communication. everyone believes tanjiro is completely clueless except for giyuu & sakonji. when they start #working at the coffee shop everyone hides the ghoul shit from tanjiro (enabling him to stay in denial) up until enmu kidnapps him to #lure nezuko. her and shinobu beat his ass then shino tries to kill him since he Knows but when he looks at her staring him down #with black&red eyes poised to kill him he just calls her beautiful. stops her in her tracks and he notices the carnage & panics over nezuko #broken winged butterfly who stared kindness in the eye.#problem is that part was supposed to be the time genya saw tan&nezu and chilled out. if i do That^ thn i dont know how ill get to there #dont know how id shove genya anywhere in there in the first place but. whatever ill figure it out #this is fun tho #also gonna differentiate between like. character replacements w orig storyline & characters in that worldbuilding #like the KNY Clan au is its own story shit but with naruto mechanics while this is Tokyo Ghoul story but w KNY characters. KNYxTokyo Ghoul #ive thought abt it a few times but if i started replacing naruto characters w kny ones id label it different from ckan au. KNYxNaruto. yk?

its simple- i watch other media, i enjoy it, i put my favorite characters in it

kny x kung fu panda Urokodaki's a fox, sabito's a hare, giyuu's a snow leopard, makomo im thinking (melanistic) fox or red panda,

gyomei, bear, maybe a large ungulate or elephant - tengen, (albino) monkee - sanemi (albino) wolf or maybe hyena. yk cuz his cackle - kanae/shinobu, butterfly is an obvious choice but what about dragonfly? - rengokus are owls - mitsuri, maybe a lovebird or i thought even peafowl bc peahens are brown so its weird that shes pink/green - obanai, (albino) snake obvs - muichiro, maybe a weasel - kamados as tanuki - inosuke, honeybadger who wears a decorational boar head - zenitsu, sparrow would b funny - ubuyashiki crows & muzan raven cuz crows are social while ravens are bigger and solitary

somethn somethn urokodaki's a local master who ends up taking in 3 orphans as students(/adopted children<3 he loves them dearly even if hes a hardass abt training) and when they surpass him he sends them to grounds where they can work with other great masters to improve and excel- the Hashira under the wisteria palace

kny x tokyo ghoul au

was thinking abt following tokyo ghoul's storyline and making nezuko get organ donor ghoul-ified like kaneki but on second thought that seems a bit boring. the slayer marks (tanjiro's specifically- that one frame in the red light district arc where he looks like hes absolutely lost it) made me think of the sort of insanity thing with centipede kaneki when he started eating ghouls. (nezuko's bout of literally losing control of herself beating daki is probably a bit closer tho) dont know what to do with that. tanjiro being human and having to keep nezuko safe with her new life as a half-ghoul is pretty cool but i dont know. could make it different

#sakonji as coffee shop owner and sabito & giyuu as workers and the fox squad being the underground Good Ghouls makes me kick my feet #goth/alt vibe makomo as the mask maker MWAH and sabito & giyuu playing as regular college kids. giyuu 'eating' out with friends and #sabito drive-by eating his food before booking it (Sabito-! you bastard!) and later when theyre alone giyuu holding his hair back #(you should stop eating my food all the time..) ((im fine- as long as it makes it easier on you))#tanjiro working as a server & nezuko more as #.#i forgot hanae-san also voiced Kaneki #what the fuck is it with him and voicing the main characters of anime about the morality of cannibalism #its not much but its weird that its happened twice #i completely fucking forgot abt that and here i am literally putting tanjiro in his place #as i was saying nezuko has a 'job' there but shes not actually employed or forced to work she just hangs around in uniform like her brother #while tanjiro's the one thats employed. shes the cute mascot of the place and sabito gets hype with her and it entertains ppl #sabito nezuko interactions beloved<3 she makes him go big brother mode #giyuu's behind the counter helping sakonji make coffee so he doesnt have to interact with people (as much)#something something also half-ghoul genya being an antagonist at first until tanjiro & nezuko's bond makes him change his mind #and he becomes the newest employee at the coffee shop. que him and sabito bickering at eachother like children and tanjiro being so #sweetfaced and genuinely kind to him & giyuu being a chill comforting presence he can go to #confides in them his fear about his brother and the guilt he feels for being around them bc it puts them in danger #mm #sweet au. great playing field to ruin absolutely everyone #i should rewatch/read tokyo ghoul its been almost a year i think #do that then decide how i want the au to play out if i want it to try to follow that storyline or if i should do some worldbuilding fuckery #of my own instead to completely change how nezuko & genya's half-ghoulness would happen #i remember i dropped tokyo ghoulre but i dont remember why. didnt bother after that Hide scene in the anime but i dont remember y the manga #i was listening to Seijatachi for writing vibes and stared a bit too long at the album image i put #kny #tokyo ghoul #kamado tanjiro #kamado nezuko #kny x tokyo ghoul au
