steve goes to a con w the kids as the adult supervision and ends up having a blast while the kids are trying to figure out how their babysitter ended up making more friends than them
The way being in a community for a few years just like unlocks events for you. Originally I thought we only had Närcon and Comic Con Stockholm in Sweden in terms of anime cons but then I went on the Närcon app which has a social function and thus found out about Kodachicon and ConFusion and Picacon
I fucking loved this convention because of all the fun events and fun people there.
One of the first cosplayers I saw there was someone who was cosplaying Kokichi and I was lucky enough to even get a photo too and even with my instax since I want to add more photos to my album.
Later that day I actually saw someone cosplaying Maguro and at first I didn't believe it but it was true and I got so happy and excited so I was all shaky and the guy who was cosplaying Maguro was happy that someone even recongnized the character. (Hehe, I even gave him a hug because.. too happy.)
Shortly after that I met a girl who cosplayed Chiaki and she tried to have me playing Let's dance but I declined because I'm not the dance type of person but it was fun watching other people playing it instead. But next day.. she and I and some others were playing Truth or dare and me trying to show that I'm not a whimp chose dare which I regreted because of course Chiaki would dare me to play Let's dance. I could imagine how stupid I looked because I was very stiff with my movements and slow as well but hehe, oh well...
I was really happy that I got to watch the first Pokemon movie there in swedish (Yeah, I prefer to watch in swedish because I grew up watching it in that language) And it had me crying as usual so yeah... that movie gets me everytime.
Later there was a dating game and the rules are that if you are the one who gets to choose a partner, you cannot see who the three people on the stage are and you have to pretend to be a character and then you ask them a few questions and then you decide who you like the most. And the rules for the three people on the stage, they also have to pretend to be a character and just answer the questions and then see if they get picked. Well, on the last round I actually decided it would be fun to give it a try so I went up on stage and thought it would be hilarious to pretend to be Klug so whatever question I got I was acting very arrogant and answered like: "I got no time for your stupidity" or "Nobody can reach my standards" And the audience actually thought I was hilarious and when the guy who was going to pick suddenly said: "Hmm... I like number three because that one seem very sassy" I was very surprised to get picked and I laughed so hard about it and wow... what an interesting ship because this guy was cosplaying Kokichi (Which was the guy who cosplayed Maguro earlier) After the dating game, the guy who was doing this event walked up to me and said that he appreciated that someone pretended to be a Puyo puyo character because he was a big puyo fan himself and later another guy told me he was also happy about this and also loved Puyo puyo.
Yeah, me happy.
(I will probably post more about Kodachicon later but I'm kinda tired since I have been there for a few days.)
@glitteronmypigeon and I cosplayed Danganronpa for Kodachicon 2018!! She was Fukawa Touko and I was Ouma Kokichi, an unlikely but fun pair.
(I want to give a HUGE thanks to all the people who acted as a support! I’m no Shirogane so my Ouma cosplay wouldn’t be NEARLY as good, probably not even finished, if it wasn’t for all of you.
@glitteronmypigeon for literally helping with the whole entire cosplay, getting grape Fanta, letting me use their sewing machine and doing my makeup. Also @skydendrin for help with the shirt, @danganronpacosplayhelp for wig tips and Cosuniverse for the arm patch.)
