Did anyone ever do these type of oc interactions? Where you start off with a drawing with your oc and someone just continues it (most of the time surprised anyone continued it lmao). Kind of like making a comic but in collaboration with another person.
Anyway the reason I brought this up was bc I remembered seeing and it before and it looked fun lol
#kofee box#its almost like rp but its with art#idk i always saw it on toonator#i liked watching interactions unfold like that

The Night Court Lounge | Tribeca, NYC | Azriel x Eris
Chapter 7/7 on AO3
Eris had never once allowed himself to fall asleep at a lover’s home in his twenty-seven years. To wake up naked, wrapped in another’s bedsheets, to carry their scent around all day? It was messy, pedestrian, something out of a paperback romance or fan fiction.
Yet here he was on the third floor of this Hell’s Kitchen walk-up, furnished with an IKEA desk and a thrifted couch. Azriel’s scent of cedar and musk enveloped him, and Eris couldn’t bear to do anything other than run his hand along the cool pillowcase and breathe it in.
He opened his eyes to a scratching sound. Azriel was leaning against the headboard. His knees bent beneath the dark sheet, a drawing pad propped in his lap, the tip of his tongue kept running along his lower lip, and his hazel eyes darted between Eris's face and the paper.
There was a tugging at Eris’s breastbone, and his face felt warm. This moment was new and fragile– as beautiful as the body that had curled into his all night, like it belonged nowhere else. Eris feared ruining it, so he silently watched Azriel make long strokes on the paper.
The man must have felt his gaze as hazel was suddenly staring back, and a deep flush traveled down Azriel’s face and neck. Eris wanted to taste it. He turned and propped himself up on an elbow. Without forethought, he stroked a pale finger down the planes of Azriel’s abdomen, reveling in the smooth skin and grooves of sleek muscles. The man was a work of art.
Eris’s finger dipped past his navel to the line of soft black hair that led to a cock he’d made come three times the night before. The first had been at the Night Court and then here. After that initial need, they’d bathed in the surprisingly large shower, shared takeout pizza from the box, and talked in the dark. They fell asleep in a tangle of limbs.
The next time, Eris woke to Azriel’s back pressing against his chest, and he entered the man slowly. It had been heartbreaking and soft, Eris kissing the back of his neck, their hands entwined. When they came, Eris lifted Azriel’s leg and pressed into him deeply, whispering the other’s name— a promise and a plea.
Now, he was hard again and needed to come inside this man, on his perfect skin, to hear his name called out in pleasure.
But when he saw Azriel concentrating and drawing and realized he was the subject, it touched something in him. Then the silly man had blushed so beautifully, Eris couldn’t help but tease. “Are you drawing me like one of your French girls, Azriel?”
This seemed to snap him out of his doubts, and he laughed. The sound was music. “I don’t get that reference, Eris. Maybe it’s too old.” The man offered a cheeky grin, and Eris had to stop himself from gasping. He opened his mouth and then closed it, certain he resembled a fish out of water, when Azriel burst out laughing again.
Thank you for going on this journey with me. What started as a slutty little one-shot turned into a slutty little multi-chapter love story. Special thanks to @pippsmcgee for helping me come up with pet names, making Rhys deliciously and morally gray, and hyping up this crazy idea.

You get out of poetry what you put into it. Poetry makes no inherent promises. Some phrases might not be understood right away, or even ever, but they can linger in your mind regardless of their deeper meaning.
Today's song is one of those cases. I can't honestly claim I understand its meaning, but I sure am glad I know enough Russian to understand the imagery. 🥰👑 There's so much in here that's gorgeous! 'Плетью впрягает в карету / Тень полуночной совы' and 'Принцесса - сестра орхидеи' are my favourites. Mellow but mysterious, not to mention funky as hell.

Today's group, Кофе (Kofe, 'Coffee'), hails from Leningrad. They were established either in 1983 or 1984, and were initially a four-piece band, consisting of university students Stanislav Tishakov (b. 1964), Eduard Nesterenko (b. 1964), Alexander Senin (b. 1963), and Grigory Kobeshavidze (b. 1962). Some three years later they were joined by musicians Igor Kopylov (b. 1962) and Igor Petrov (b. 1961), who came from a different band called Телевизор (Televisor, 'Television') that you'll see again in a future post. 😂 They're notable for their lyrics too, I hope I do them justice then.
But back to Кофе. They began gaining recognition after meeting the sound engineer Alexey Vishnya, who produced for a lot of underground groups of this era - outside of the USSR, he's probably most famous for his work with Кино (Kino). Кофе recorded their debut album Балет (Ballet, 1984) at Vishnya's home studio, which made significant waves in the Leningrad music scene. By the following year they were members of the Leningrad Rock Club, and fast gaining in recognition, whereupon they got to work recording their second album Баланс (Balance, 1986).
By then Кофе had gained their full line-up of six. The additional professionalism brought by the more experienced Kopylov and Petrov worked its magic. Баланс was an even greater hit than Балет, and Кофе started receiving offers to appear on television, in addition to the concerts they were giving at the Leningrad Rock Club. I mentioned the TV program Музыкальный ринг (Musical Boxing-Ring) in last week's post - Кофе were on that too, and others like Поп-Антенна (Pop-Antenna) that boosted their songs to popularity. The best known song by Кофе is probably 'Ставлю на Зеро' ('Betting on Zero'), which you can listen to below.
youtube
Баланс is the first album I heard from this band. 'Принцесса' and 'Ставлю на Зеро' come one after the other in the tracklist of the original magnetic release. When the time came to work on this week's post I struggled to choose between the two - I'm more in favour of the former's lyrics, but I do think the latter is much catchier, even if you don't understand Russian whatsoever.
I went with 'Принцесса' in the end, because there's a pretty interesting anecdote associated with it. I mentioned above that Alexey Vishnya also worked with Кино - only the best known band from the USSR ever, or very close to it. 😳 Posted below is a little bonus track included in certain pressings of Кино's early album, Это не любовь (This Is Not Love, 1985). Give it a listen:
youtube
Sound familiar?
This is Viktor Tsoi (1962-1990), lead singer-songwriter and one of the founders of Кино, haphazardly singing the lines 'Плетью впрягает в карету / Тень полуночной совы' from 'Принцесса'. In 1985 both Кино and Кофе were recording their albums at Alexey Vishnya's home studio. Somehow this little recording got made, and all post-1995 publications of Это не любовь include it as a bonus.
Кино is known to have borrowed Кофе's homemade rhythm box to record their drum parts during this recording process. It seems likely Tsoi had been played a recording of 'Принцесса' by Vishnya himself, or heard it by chance while the two bands were in the same building. The recording itself might've been an accident (e.g. he didn't know the mic was recording), or part of a mic test/group tuning.
Whatever the reason, it remained. Кино is nowadays a lot more famous than Кофе - the latter broke up in 1987, and reunited in 2019, with half the members it had - and it's quite possible that if you're a fan of Кино, this was the first place you heard 'Принцесса'. If you were wondering what was up with that, well, you know now. 🤣

This time, Hunk was actually the first one to notice his guest. Well, not so much guest- Pidge was as common in the lion’s hangar as he was, sometimes.
“Oh, hey Pidge. G’morning to ya.” He waved lightly. He finished piling together the completed confetti bombs, and worked on safely packing them into the box for his sister. Though really calling them bombs was probably wrong- they were more remote activated confetti filled whoopie cushions.
The bomb aspect had resulted in a couple burns and incinerated confetti, no matter how little powder he’d put in, so that had been scrapped.
Hunk grunted, taping the top of the box shut, before stuffing it into the corner with other things he had for his family. A yawn escaped him as he straightened up. “Oi, e ala i fetu, ou te manaomia le kofe.” He mumbled. His warm gaze slid to Pidge again. “So, what’re you up to?”

The Enigmatic Heathkit CR-1 Crystal Radio
For the past several months my interest in ‘DX-crystal radio’ construction has been percolating once again. It began when I ran across an interesting description of Heathkit’s legendary CR-1, a double-tuned good performer and very much sought-after by collectors as well as by users. The article described one homebrewer’s attempt to duplicate the receiver and to learn more about the detector and antenna tuning ferrite-loaded coil's secrets. When it comes to crystal radios, there is nothing revolutionary regarding the CR-1’s basic circuitry but for some odd reason, it has achieved cult-like status as well as high dollar value.
courtesy: Scotts Crystal Radios
I've been eager to get my mitts on one to see how it performs after reading of one DXer's fifty-eighth catch with his own CR-1! The article that piqued my interest appears on 'Scott's Crystal Radios' website and makes for an inspirational read, eventually revealing the inside core arrangement of the ferrite-loaded tuned circuits via an actual X-ray of the device! By the way, if you are looking for a nice set of older headphones, Scott's website is the place to visit!
courtesy: Scott's Crystal Radios
Scott was eventually able to achieve performance equal to that of his borrowed CR-1, with his own slightly modified versions, all in a similar-sized footprint. Perhaps this is one reason why the CR-1 is so much sought-after, as good performance in a very small package is not the norm when it comes to crystal radios. It's usually a case of ‘the bigger, the better’ when it comes to performance. A recent search of my junque box revealed several NIB ferrite loopsticks that would allow a potntial reproduction of this interesting circuit.
Several years ago I spent an eye-opening winter learning about DX crystal radios as up to that time I had always believed it would be impossible to hear anything other than strong local signals on a crystal radio. I quickly discovered that there was a very large Crystal Radio Yahoo Group where menbers were working at the leading edge of crystal radio design. I also found that the group sponsored an annual Crystal Radio DX Contest which inspired me to dig deeper. It wasn’t too long before I decided to join the fun and attempt to build a crystal radio DX-machine but I was in for a few surprises and a long learning curve ... it seemed that hearing broadcast band ‘DX’ on a crystal radio (anything other than loud locals) was not going to be an easy task! Over the course of several months I tried many types of variable capacitors, tank coil configurations and antenna tuning circuits. I even erected a dedicated antenna system for the various experimental circuits I was putting together ... an 'Inverted-L', 50’ straight up and 70’ horizontal, along with a ground rod connected to several buried radials. I quickly learned about something I normally didn’t have to worry about when working with ‘active’ devices and that was overcoming system and component losses. In critical crystal radio design, it’s all about minimizing the losses in every stage and every component in the system since there are no amplifiers to help overcome these losses. Your system is only as good as the weakest link. In true crystal radio DXing, no active devices are permitted ... it’s just your crystal radio and the energy generated at some, hopefully far away, transmitter site! After several months, I eventually ended up with a well-performing triple-tuned set that used lots of 'trapping' because of all of the very strong nearby signals here ... eight 50kW locals!
A description of the learning curve, with several do's and dont's to help new builders, can be found on my website here. Back then, 80 stations were logged (from my location on Mayne Island in SW British Columbia) over the one-week Crystal Radio DX Contest. CRYSTAL RADIO LOGBOOK

Old notes indicate that there were 14 stations at S9 or higher, requiring heavy trapping to hear anything close to their frequencies.
My recent interest made me wonder what the situation is today when it comes to the number of strong local ‘blowtorch’ signals, surely the bane of all crystal radio DXers? Although there have been a few changes over the years, a quick scan of the band during the prime DX evening hours found that although one of the blowtorch signals (at 600kHz) was now gone, another had appeared at 1200kHz ... sadly no net difference. The top end of the band, always a prime area for good skywave DX, is unfortunately still dominated by a huge signal from KVRI just across the water near the Canadian / U.S. border. If KVRI were silent, the top end would be a wonderfully quiet hunting-ground for new catches. The new local blowtorch (CJRJ) on 1200 kHz will now cause problems for the middle of the band, which was always a good region for DX. So it seems overall, there hasn’t been a huge change here other than in the middle of the band. It looks as though there are still some good watering-holes to be had but several traps will still be needed in any new system. Once my present radio-bench project is finished (a '36 RK-39 crystal power oscillator) I’m looking forward to more research and design of a couple of new systems, starting with something similar to the CR-1 as well as some experimentation with toroidal coils. I always find the research and planning phase of any new project more interesting and fulfilling than the actual construction and implementation! Hopefully I’ll have something ready for the fall DX season! Thanks to VA7MM, I will also have the loan of an original CR-1 next winter to make comparisons to any clone that I might build! If building a DX-crystal radio is something that might interest you, there are several great websites offering inspiration and helpful info. The links for these may be found at the bottom of my own crystal radio page. As well, there are two active crystal radio groups on Facebook, where daily two-way discussion can be had. Perhaps, with enough new interest, we can even revive the annual Crystal Radio DX Contest!

Jae while he expresses no signs at all, is very paranoid especially around aliens. He's also impulsive and it often shows when he feels petty or passive aggressive (,,,again mostly towards aliens)
Evon is just, listless. She gets stressed kind of easily and deals with it by choosing to block out any emotions.

Bad traits of your OCs? <- planning to use said info to Moonscorch them in the funger Alnst au (please. i can GUESS for some. but im doing like. ~39 CHARACTERS. Too much for one (1) person; me)
Bad traits, don't just limit to that! It could be about their traumas, how they view themselves (in a bad light), etc etc. / example; Flor is a bad mom and in hindsight a bad friend, she repeats and she forgets. She laughs it all away, and lies to others and herself. And her coping mechanisms! Eating and such, while eating isn't bad in of itself- eating too-too much is. ~and all of that!
