[ANIME]
Some recommendations for you all! But some of these are underrated. Hope you like it!
Golden Kamuy
Golden Kamuy, you've heard it before. I know that this anime is very popular in Japan but also outside Japan except Indonesia (The anime did a collab with Sanrio & Shiroi Koibito [Cookies I guess], any question?). This story is about Sugimoto,  a veteran of the early twentieth-century Russo-Japanese War, and his quest to find a huge fortune of gold of the Ainu people, helped by a young Ainu girl named Asirpa.
"Why should I watch this?" Because you'll know everything about Ainu, indigenous people of Hokkaido! I guess Ainu is like ethnic group [We call it "suku" here], it is unfamiliar that I thought it wasn't real. You'll also learn about Russo-Japanese War, foods, Ainu foods, Ainu culture, etc.
About the fandom, I haven't seen some groups in every social media including Tumblr & Twitter. But I hope it has a green flag, cause I've seen that the fans are nice enough (They don't compare GK to other anime and a lot of them are Tsurumi's fans on Twits haha!). There is a blog about Golden Kamuy, where you can know gun types, references of real people, opium, funfact, etc. Just type it!
2. Bungou Stray Dogs
This is also popular outside Japan [and in Japan too ... Probably?]. This story follows Atsushi, a weretiger orphan, who joins others gifted with supernatural powers to accomplish different tasks including running a business, solving mysteries, and carrying out missions assigned by the agency.
Bungou Stray Dogs or BSD is worth it, you won't believe that it's a seinen (18-30/40 y.o for men) anime even if you read the genre. It's seinen, but less blood and full of humor at the first season. Same as GK, but "nicer" for teenagers. You can simp with Dazai, Ranpo, or even other bishounen characters oops- Well they have unique artstyle of course, love the eyes <3 You will also be introduced with real characters if you search them without BSD.
About the fandom, a lot of them are fujoshis (Girls who are fans of BL). I also think that the fandom is safe, but a bit weird because AtsuKyouka. However I ship these teenagers as siblings/best friends.
3. Popee The Performer
You probably know this anime. YES, Popee The Performer is an anime and a kid show, but I mean like what the earth is going on-
If you don't know Popee The Performer or I should say Popee Performer, you might say that I'm lying. Popee Performer is a 2001's anime and a kid show made by Ryuji Masuda, a CG animation. So, it does sounds like a 3D cartoon to you and you'll ask why I recommend this.
Come on, Dear, Popee Performer is alright for you ;) .... If you like bloody and 'weirdcore' animation with a story that no one can understand the reason or the moral from this "slice-of-life-or-not" anime, then this is your world. The story follows Popee, an apprentice clown, and his assistant, Kedamono, attempting various Circus acts and going about their daily lives as performers.
The fandom? I hope it's a safe area although it's not a children show and the adults watch that, they make awesome fanarts and ... ship for PopKeda. I'm not hoping for PapPopee and you shouldn't, I beg you please. DON'T SEARCH IT ON AO3 EVEN IF YOU WANT TO
4. Gugure! Kokkuri-san
After watching heavy topics, we should start taking a snack and then stare at an enjoyable anime. Gugure! Kokkuri-san is a spectacular comedy and supernatural anime series that came out in 2014. The TV show features countless unexpected humorous and heartfelt moments, so it’s definitely worth watching, especially if you’re in the mood for something sweet and simple. The series revolves around the life of Kohina Ichimatsu, an elementary school girl who lives by herself and leads an unhealthy lifestyle. Once, while playing a game, Kohina accidentally summons Kokkuri-san, a fox spirit who later decides to take care of the little girl. The show then takes Kohina on a thrilling journey where she encounters several other spirits like her guardian.
I love the artstyle, especially Kokkuri-san. A beautiful, goofy fox with a long hair. The fandom is green flag for sure, I don't see lots of fans talking about this anime.
5. Sanrio Boys
Another enjoyable anime, sadly it's just for sponsoring Sanrio T_T WHYYYYYYYY
This is about boys who like dolls, including Kouta Hasegawa who has a problem because the society says it's girly if boys have dolls. However Kouta finds his friends who have the same interest.
This enjoyable, bromance anime ... It feels like Sanrio Danshi/Sanrio Boys is judging the society. I mean, we all hear that boys who play with dolls are girly and my ears are super itchy for listening to these stupid things. They have small fans, not popular but it's better! You will also see beautiful and handsome guys, gotta choose Mizuno before someone catches him.
There are underrated animes that I've watched, but I guess 5 is enough. Give me part 2 if you want. Sincerely, Blue Wolf

Kokkuri real name is Inari!? hinting to be female or Genderless god!
It’s mention kokkuri was god and over the years their real name been forgotten and now people call them kokkuri-san, but some say they are messenger to a fox god.  Though when he transform. We get a hint which God they worked for or if they are the god they are based off!?
Tumblr media
It’s shown their form is white nine tailed fox. looking up fox gods with white fox messengers, I found match with Inari Okami!  Though it stated she is mixed up with being god to foxes/kitsune, but it’s actually she recruits the  fox to help her.
Tumblr media
Inari Okami (稲荷大神) also known as O-Inari Sama, is the Japanese Kami/kamui (God/spirit) of industriousness, grains, the harvest, agriculture and is generally viewed as a fertility Kami. O-Inari is a genderless Kami in that Inari has been sometimes seen as appearing as a beautiful woman and at other times as a handsome man. O-Inari Sama is not the Kami of foxes and Kitsune as often stated however Inari does have foxes as attendants and messengers. You will see them guarding shrines with their bright red bibs (symbolizing the blood of life)
This is interesting as it states Inari can appear as beautiful women or man! Which kokkuri does do.  Though the Name Inari point to female name.  As the name Inari means Successful One!
Also Kokkuri is white fox, and Inari recruits white fox messengers as her helpers.  They are shown to wear red color, mix of red/white, red symbolizing blood of life and also bells around their neck.
Tumblr media
It is confirmed that kokkuri dyes their fur yellow to appear cuter, plus their real form shows reveals they are all white, showing they are white fox! and the comment about them being messenger, either ties in with messenger white fox, or Inari who was mistaken as a Kami to the foxes.  As kokkuri did say their where a god, but people forgot their real name.
We seen kokkuri wear red/white and also the rope/bell collar kohina puts around their neck is white/red.
I know the tree near the shrine have rope design similar to kokkuri collar design, as some fox statues in Inari shrine, have bells/red bib around their neck.  which match kokkuri design/origin inspiration.
Though curious when comes to their real gender, or just genderless spirit??  Similar to Inugami who can change gender, depending how the spirit is born as it’s not settled on which gender it wants.
Tumblr media
It’s pointed out through out the story, even though kokkuri goes around in male form, their behavior and personality matches a female behavior in everything they do.  As everyone views Kokkuri as a mother figure through out the story/manga.
Even the words on their back clothes spell Mother in law!?? it appears in one scene.  Why wear those words on their back if they choose male form more, over female!?  As their long hair hides the words on their back coat.  wouldn’t it say father in law if they really meant the male form they stay in!?
They also end the discussion/change topic when someone brings it up they want to see their female form.  As it looks more like Kokkuri avoid that form because they kept getting harassed by other males and treated like object because of their beauty/or where they hurt by someone in the past!? So now they chose the male form to hide in for safety!?
Tumblr media
Plus they have Kohina who they see as their human daughter, and kokkuri always find her each reincarnation because kokkuri promised her in kohina past life they would be her friend/family and she won’t have to be alone and sad anymore!  Showing they prioritize Kohina well being over anyone else!
As kokkuri always find their daughter Kohina  each time she reincarnates.. Showing kokkuri come to view her as daughter because they always find kohina as a child for some reason each reincarnation with no parents.
Tumblr media
In the manga it’s hinted current kohina we know, her parents would fight while she was young, eventually something happen to them and she alone with no parent guardian. Until kokkuri shows up and take the parent/mother figure role to her!
And the reason we see Kokkuri see grown up kohina version from memory, is because they state they can’t leave her until she grows up and marries in the ending of the story! Showing a parent concern of not wanting to leave their child until she grows up and marries, being able to take care of herself with out kokkuri to raise her.
Which is sad, because this cycle repeats each time, Kokkuri finds her as a child and has to watch/raise her until she older and then only to see her die eventually each time, each life. (And Kohina forgets her past life/memory with their unknown parent)
Though i wonder if change will happen to break this cycle and kohina will eventually be reborn with long life(being reborn spirit like kokkuri)  So kokkuri will have their daughter live a long life, and never die.  One of their wishes that was hinted at the shrine they went to pray at.  Kokkuri wishing this moment would last forever with their daughter!
I check author twitter, it seemed they hinted more story though unsure.  As the last spin off ended recently with Shigaraki and kokkuri. Though they hinted new work with the story continuation maybe.

Voice Actor: Ryō Hirohashi
Description
Kohina Ichimatsu is the main character of the manga and anime, Gugure Kokkuri-san. Kohina lived alone in an old mansion for many years before summoning the fox spirit: Kokkuri-san. Since then, Kohina began to live with various animal spirits...even though she didn’t want them to live with her in the first place. Kohina claims to be an emotionless doll who feels nothing.
Personality
Kohina is an emotionless girl who appears to be emotionless, cold, and unfeeling. She often claims that she is a doll, because dolls do not feel anything or show any emotions. Because of this, Kohina hardly ever shows any emotions and cannot even smile (her eyes and mouth somehow fall off whenever she tries to smile). It is really unknown why Kohina claims to be an emotionless doll, as much of her past is unknown. Kohina had lived alone for quite some time before meeting Kokkuri-san, so she was used to always being alone. Kohina may act like a doll so she doesn’t feel sad about being alone, or the possibility that she may end up alone again.
Despite her claims that she is emotionless, Kohina does have a mischievous side and dark sense of humor. She often pranks or teases Kokkuri-san and the other animal spirits within her home. She tends to poke fun at Kokkuri-san for being centuries old, sets Inugami on fire (he’s immortal so he can’t die), and is not afraid to compare Shigaraki to an insect. Kohina can be quite cold-hearted when someone tells her their sad backstory, as she’s not really interested in hearing it. Kohina tries to be funny, but her sense of humor is a bit warped for a child.
Kohina claims that she does not need friends, as she claims that dolls do not feel lonely or become upset due to lack of friends. Despite this, however, Kohina has shown to become upset whenever her classmates make fun of her for her claiming to be a doll. Her female classmates tend to leave Kohina out when they have to do a group project, as they do not like her because she is a social outcast. Kohina tries to cope with this by going into ‘doll mode’ and hide her feelings.
Kohina does express displeasure whenever someone is bragging, or if she is being forced to do homework or study. Kohina can become quite lazy, to the point where she will use violence and trickery to get out of doing her homework or studying for a test. Kohina has a great love for cup noodles. Before meeting Kokkuri-san, cup noodles were all she ever ate for every one of her meals. She even stockpiled on limited edition brands and flavors, even ones that were no longer sold in stores. If anyone throws out her cup noodles, she will become very angry and use threats against whoever threw out her stash.
Deep down, Kohina does care about those who are closest to her. While she claims that she is never lonely, Kohina does actually feel lonely if Kokkuri-san, Inugami and Shigaraki are not around. When Kokkuri-san left her for a day, she began to cry while still claiming that she was a doll who could not feel saddness. Though Kohina hardly ever smiles, there have been times where she is able to smile normally...though it is still quite difficult for her to smile with out her eyes and mouth changing position.
It is unknown why Kohina is the person that she is...but it has been hinted/speculated that she did not have a good home life before summoning Kokkuri-san. Her acting like a doll may have been her way of coping with her loneliness.
Relationships
Kokkuri-san: Kokkuri-san is a fox spirit whom Kohina had summoned out of curiosity. At first, Kokkuri-san tried to haunt her...though Kohina kept trying to get him to leave. After seeing that Kohina lived alone and live off of cup noodles, he decided to live with her and become her guardian...much to Kohina’s annoyance. Though Kokkuri-san claims to be like her father, he is more like a mother for various reasons: He cooks, he cleans, he is feminine when it comes to his appearance, he saves money when he goes shopping, and he often gossips with the neighborhood old ladies. Kokkuri-san is very protective of Kohina, and even spies on her while she is at school to make sure that she is not being bullied. Kokkuri-san often worries about Kohina, and is determined to make her act more like a human than a doll. Though Kohina can be quite mean towards him, she does, in fact, care about him and becomes lonely if he is not with her. It is revealed that in Kohina’s past life, she saved Kokkuri-san and he proceeded to take care of her...until she grew ill and died when she was a young adult. After finding her current incarnation, he decided to take care of her and to make her smile. He has the ability to turn into a fox, a child, and even a woman.
Tumblr media
Inugami: Inugami is a dog spirit who is obsessed with Kohina. Before he became a spirit, Inugami was a normal dog who had been abandoned in a small box on the side walk. One day, Kohina saw him and played with him for a bit. When he was 3 years old, he was killed as part of a ritual to curse someone, and became a dog spirit. He has the power to grant people fame and fortune, but the person he haunts eventually succumbs to his power, loses everything, and is eaten by the spirit. Two years after becoming a spirit, Inugami met Kohina again and declared his love for her. Kokkuri-san attempted to get rid of him, but Inugami was able to make a deal with Kohina by offering her cup noodles. Since then, he began to live with Kohina and Kokkuri-san as their pet. Inugami claims to hate everything and everyone that is not Kohina, and is determined to make her his bride. He is often killed by Kokkuri-san, but always comes back to life since he is a spirit. Inugami often transforms into a small puppy or a woman, as a way for him to be close to Kohina. Kohina has no intention of becoming his bride, and only sees him as a pet dog.
Tumblr media
Shigaraki: Shigaraki is a tanuki spirit who specializes in tricking people. Shigaraki is a type of spirit who does nothing but gamble, cheat, drink, and smoke. Shigaraki and Kokkuri-san were roommates in the past...but Kokkuri-san hated living with him because he was lazy, messy, perverted towards women, and always caused trouble for him. Before living with Kohina, Shigaraki lived with other families and would bring them riches through gambling and placing bets...though he eventually lost all of their money and brought the families to ruin. Though Shigaraki is an example of the lowest of the low...he does, in fact, care a lot for children and regularly donates money to an orphanage that houses the remaining children from the families he had ruined (their parents likely left due to debts or committed suicide because Shigaraki had, unintentionally, lost all of their savings in gambles and bets). Kohina’s opinion of him is very, very low and often calls him ‘scum’. She even compares him to an insect. Despite her dislike for the tanuki spirit, Shigaraki does protect her from evil spirits, and even received a scar from one after he stopped it from eating Kohina. At one point, Shigaraki was married and had a daughter...but they both left him because of his vices and it became a traumatic memory for him. Shigaraki can turn into an animal, though it seems that he cannot turn into a woman like Kokkuri-san and Inugami.
Tumblr media
Tama: Tama is a cat spirit who runs a small cafe. Tama is obsessed with dolls, especially ones that are creepy, and thought that Kohina was a doll and tried to keep her. She kidnapped Kohina and trapped her inside her cafe, which is filled with very creepy (and possibly cursed) dolls. When it comes to her dolls, Tama is very strict with them, to the point that Kohina became very stressed and managed to escape her cafe. Tama can be a bit rough when taking care of children, and can be violent either by accident or on purpose. She claims to be a great cook, though her cooking may also be either cursed or somehow alive...though people who have eaten it admit that her cooking is, in fact, delicious. When Kokkuri-san, Inugami and Shigaraki turned into children because of magic water, Kohina called Tama to come take care of them, showing that she seems to trust Tama enough to ask for her help. Kohina once joked that Tama’s mother had been turned strings for a Shamisen...which Tama believed and now she calls the Shamisen her ‘mother’, despite Kohina’s attempts to tell her that she was just joking. Tama can transform into a cat
Tumblr media
Tengu: Tengu is a mountain spirit who knows everything that goes on within the forests and mountains. Being a Tengu spirit, he is very perverted towards young boys. He will only give information if he is paid in pictures of young, cute boys. Despite this, however, Tengu can become serious when talking about bound ghosts or his first love. Tengu wears a mask at all times. His reason for this is because his face is so beautiful, that anyone who looks at it will become entranced and then lose their memories. At first, Tengu didn’t seem to like Kohina, because he is not interested in girls. But after Kohina saw his face and was not affected by it, he began to like her despite her being a girl. Kohina neither likes him nor does she dislike him...but she does think that he is useful sometimes.
Tumblr media
Kureha: Kureha is a female ghost who is bound to a maple tree whose leaves are always red, no matter what season. Long ago, Kureha’s boyfriend went off to fight in a war, and promised to return to her at the tree. Unfortunately, he had died in battle, and Kureha continued to wait for him no matter what. She eventually passed away while waiting underneath the maple tree, but became a ghost bound to the tree. Kohina thought that she should have left instead of waisting her time waiting, but also felt bad for her since she was still waiting for her boyfriend to return to her. Kokkuri-san was able to find out that her boyfriend had been reincarnated as the very maple tree that she was bound to. Afterwards, she remained a ghost bound to the tree, but was happy to be with her boyfriend. It turned out that he could also talk, even as a tree, and admitted that it takes a lot of hard work to keep the tree’s leaves red.
Tumblr media
Jimeko: Jimeko is a girl who is in the classroom next to Kohina’s. The two of them were in the same class the year before, and Jimeko wanted to be friends with her. But because she is a shy tsundere, Jimeko would place a vase filled with flowers on her desk everyday the next year. At first, people thought that Kohina was being bullied (in Japan, a white vase with a flower in it means ‘death’, and is seen as a form of bullying in Japan). Kohina grew used to the flowers being on her desk everyday, and did not feel hurt or threatend...which made Jimeko mad. When Jimeko told Kohina about how she would spend her allowance on the flowers, and deliver them no matter how bad the weather was, Kohina told her to stop doing it since the only one getting hurt by the flowers was Jimeko’s health and wallet. Jimeko hopes to one day becomes friends with Kohina, but Kohina just finds her irritating and weird.
Tumblr media
Yamamato: Yamamato is a boy in Kohina’s class. When Kohina was asked if she was interested in any boys, she mentioned how she couldn’t stop staring at Yamamato, which made Kokkuri-san and Inugami believe that she had a crush on him. When they actually saw Yamamato...they were surprised to see that he was actually an alien and not at all human. Though he is obviously an alien, Kohina and everyone else believe that he is a human...despite him obviously being from outer space. Yamamato is popular amongst his classmates because he is kind, smart, handsome, and takes good care of his little sister (which is a little alien that emerges from inside his mouth). Kohina claims that he is Kokkuri-san’s friend and not her’s, but Kokkuri-san doesn’t really like Yamamato because he is freaked out by him. Yamamato likes to hang out with Kohina, and even took her and Kokkuri-san to visit him parents on his home planet. He may have used some kind of brainwashing to make people see him as a human.
Tumblr media
Family: Not much is known about Kohina’s family, as they are never really seen and are rarely mentioned. Kohina has lived by herself for quite a long time, judging by the amount of empty cup noodle bowls in her house, and was quite used to being alone. Kohina once mentioned that her parents fought all the time, and she would cope with it by acting like a doll...though she said this as an excuse to not do her homework, so it is unknown if what she said was true or not. In the manga, she mentions that her parents are alive and well...though they are never seen. She also mentioned having a grandfather who had died at some point, and it is implied that they were quite close. Judging by how big her home is, it can be speculated that her family had a lot of money, which could explain how she was able to afford food while living alone. Kohina is a hereditary witch, meaning that she got her ability to attract spirits from her mother. This could mean that her mother’s side of the family has a connection to spirits. If Kohina’s parents are alive, then it may be that they had abandoned her for some reason. Since there are no pictures of them in the house, it is possible that Kohina’s relationship with them was quite strained. There is a warehouse on the property that contains mystical artifacts, that have been passed down from generation to generation by Kohina’s ancestors. Some of her ancestors are mentioned to have had a dark sense of humor, and liked to see their enemies troubled by cursed objects and trying to reverse them.
