This is HYBE's American girl group aka American Le Sserafim - the sound, the concept, choreo, upskirting, it's very similar to them. I will say though, the song is catchy and has potential to go viral on TikTok, because that's what pop music has become.

This is BP Lisa's first single outside YGE - hasn't changed much when it comes to the kind of music she makes, the lyrics are horrible. The beat reminds me of "Tokyo Drift", which was iconic, this is not - but the video edit at 2:35 is dope.

K-pop has really become international, half the songs released lately are either 50% or 100% in English - Alexa has been doing English pop music for a long time, this is lame Avril Lavigne territory, though.
CRAXY "STUPIDZ"

Another attempt at a hip-hop girl crush concept, but considering how much these groups are under the thumb of their companies, none of these concepts are ever authentic. The instrumental was fun, but the lyrics are dumb, or should I say stupidz?
I would so appreciate if you guys watched this video and shared it from YT if you enjoyed it. These incredibly talented female rappers deserve more recognition and that’s what I’m hoping to do with this video. Thanks :)
- I don’t have much to say about this song except that it has a really nice chill groove and that out of all the songs on newjeans’ debut album this one was the most underappreciated -
.
2: Brave - TWICE
- This song reminds me so much of victorious specifically and so it invokes some really funky childhood nostalgia for me. It’s also super fun to sing along to and just genuinely nice -
.
1: Attention - NewJeans
- so I’m not really on board with debuting such young kids but they undeniably have some really good music. NewJeans is kinda hit or miss for me but attention is definitely a Hit with capital H. The production on this is just spot on and sounds absolutely magical. Perfect summer song with some really fun use of samples and some absolutely stellar vocals (and also the outro will never leave my brain again) -
