BAD END FRIENDS, Laika Edition - Kubo / Moon Prince

A Kubo with both eyes taken from him. Caught out after sundown by his two aunts, he is trapped on the moon by his grandfather the Moon King, in a place where emotion is weakness. Over the years Kubo is starved of the affection he once received from the village and from his mother because his Grandfather isn’t very big on showing much in the way of healthy love. Thanks to the years he’s spent on the moon with no hugs or anything of the sort, he latches onto the tiny scraps of affection he can wring from his grandfather and aunts, and is thus made much easier to manipulate because of this. His entire month is made if you so much as pat him on the head by this point - he’ll do anything to get their positive affection. Over time, accustomed to the horrible kind of love his godly family gives him, he is deluded into believing that this is what a family truly is despite his previous experiences as a child. He now waits for the time he can reunite with his mother in the skies, and is very much well equipped to keep her there with him.

My Favorite Movies of my Favorite Genres / My Favorite TV Shows of my Favorite Genres

Because when I was trying to describe what level and types of entertainment I enjoy, I wasn’t able to make myself clear to my bestie’s boyfriend who has way more ‘sophisticated’ taste than me lol

But I think if I were to summarize what I like in a nutshell, it’d be: a fun romp (nothing heavy), with just enough angst/intrigue to make it meaty, and a visual treat to watch.

Who could been the best what if VA for Zil, the original Big Bad of Cars 2?

In case you’re wondering or just don't get it, you're probably asking me: Just who the hell is Zil, mate?! Well, Zil was the original villain for Cars 2

Given what was seen of him in concept art and that particular deleted scene; in my humble opinion, Zil  is arguably being the closest the World of Cars franchise could had to a true Knight of Cerberus/ completely truly evil and threatening villain. 

The other World of Cars antagonists like the rivals (Chick Hicks, Ripslinger and Jackson Storm) and others were more of the likes of being greedy, selfish assholes/bullies and/or obstacles to overcome; and some of them at least had shown their standards, hidden depths or a code of honor.

Miles Axlerod, Grem and Acer, Professor Zundapp and most of the Lemon Heads were a close second to be an actual threat (probably because they are this universe equivalent of the Mafia and terrorists!)

I mean:

*They brutally murdered two spies: Leland Turbo-crushed and Rod Redline-tortured to death

*They sabotaged a fuel/weaponized a camera to hurt/ probably kill different racers from around the world (I mean Lightning was almost a target for assassination!)

*Making Mater into a suicide bomber as a backup plan to kill Lightning, and it not only the bomb could have killed both McQueen and Mater, but other innocent cars who were unfortunately in the way (and remember that most of the Radiator Springs gang were there in the pits!)

Honestly, I wish we had this guy instead as the main villain, he seems more menacing and cooler. (Granted Cars 2 originally was going to be dark, REALLY DARK, as in like as in Incredibles 1 and Toy Story 3 levels of dark)

Well Pixar likes to recycle ideas, so as the video stated maybe Zil could possible be reused as the main villain for a possible Cars 4 or maybe for a book, comic or a videogame or a animated short/special?

(2:15) You can hear him speak and get an idea how he could may sound like. Warning the death scene is pretty disturbing, it probably give you an idea how Leland Turbo died

Kubo wasn’t completely wrong so to speak. They have left many posts and many roles in their centuries here. They’ve heard flippant, facetious; ‘namby-pamby’ was so far the most fun sounding of the same word. Once their purpose there is completed they simply move on to the next phase of fate no matter the role they stand in for.

The visions they have simply tell them there are certain events that must unfold with their involvement necessary. The same falls for the young Moon Prince.

          They bump the end of their shinobue flute against Kubo’s head.
