The robotic arm cell feeding process refers to the automation of extracting battery cells from storage bins and accurately placing them onto production lines. This process is commonly used in battery manufacturing and assembly to improve production efficiency and reduce manual labor. The robotic arm can achieve precise picking, positioning, and transferring of the cells based on preset programs and sensor feedback, ensuring accurate placement and orientation of each cell. Typically, the robotic arm is equipped with tools like grippers or suction cups, which can be adjusted according to the shape, size, and weight of the battery cells. With high-speed movements and precision, the robotic arm can complete the feeding of a large number of cells in a short time, greatly enhancing the automation level of the production line. The advantages of such automated feeding systems not only include increased efficiency and reduced labor intensity but also minimize human error, ensuring consistent product quality. "Can’t Help Myself" (2016 - Sun Yuan & Peng Yu) / "NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt" (1985-present)
CAN'T HELP MYSELF: It’s better to watch a video of it in action. It’s a large robot arm that’s only programmed to repeatedly sweep a pool of red liquid around it. But its task is never done, the liquid eventually oozes back out onto the floor. It just makes me so sad, the futility of its work. Brilliantly, the artists even programmed it to do little gestures during its work. Sometimes the arm will shake or almost wave at the audience. So it feels less mechanical, like it has a personality. People have interpreted it to symbolize many ideas. Like the futility of violence, and those who are tasked with the endless recovery and clean up. It could be about worker exploitation, the dehumanization of victims of violence, policing borders. Regardless of what it means, I feel pity whenever I see it. (nicolaleecallahan)
NAMES PROJECT AIDS MEMORIAL QUILT: fucks me up bc so many people died and so many people suffered and their partners didn’t have legal rights as next of kin and so many had been disowned by their parents and had to be held by a stranger while they were dying and if i could resurrect anyone in the world i’d dig up either reagan or thatcher and kill them again (jaskierx)
("Can't Help Myself" is a Kuka industrial robot made of stainless steel and rubber mopping up cellulose ether in coloured water made by two Chinese artists, Sun Yuan & Peng Yu. This installation was displayed in Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York but was removed from display.
The "NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt" is an ongoing community art project honoring people who passed away due to AIDS-related causes. It consists of approximately 50,000 panels of 3 by 6 feet (0.91 m × 1.83 m) panels, which is an estimated 54 tons of material. It is currently housed in San Francisco, but is often displayed in various places in the United States.)

Inside the plant, 30-foot-tall, green-painted presses fashion steel bars into the shape of shell casings. A small furnace heats the partly finished shells to 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit, allowing them to be shaped more precisely. They are then transferred to cooling tunnels and checked for quality. [...] General Dynamics selected Repkon, whose headquarters are in Turkey, to supply the presses because no U.S.-based vendor could meet the deadline of having the plant up and running in two years.  Turkey has emerged as a big defense-equipment producer, including drones widely used in Ukraine. Its close ties with U.S. defense companies were interrupted in 2019 when Turkey bought a Russian-made missile defense system, triggering its ejection from the F-35 fighter jet program. Diplomatic relations have since improved. “Without the support from Turkey, this facility would be empty,” Wormuth said after a plant tour with Novakovic. The robots are made in Germany by Kuka. The firm was bought in 2016 by Midea, a Chinese appliance maker. The equipment isn’t subject to any of the sanctions imposed on some Chinese machinery and raw materials, an Army spokesperson said.

of sticks and. dunno. robots, probably
(click read more to get an essay about how jinpei jiba is a gay catboy actually)
PREV
NEXT
Tumblr media
she's just there quietly fiddling with a grenade. as most teenage girls do
Tumblr media
maybe i was that okay with jibanyan dying because jinpei dies a lot, too
Tumblr media
see? just an average tuesday for him
Tumblr media
and you might ask. "out of all your y gakuen screenshots, how many are of jinpei?" and i will not reply. but let's just say he gets reeeeeeeally cute by the end of the series
Tumblr media
i don't know what about "furfest over there" is so funny to me. i wrote it. it shouldn't be that funny. sadly, if someone knows i'm the funniest motherfucker alive, that's me
Tumblr media
when i was little, they sold this neat little fork that spun, to eat spaghetti in an easier way. i remember you had to buy three packs, but we wanted one for my brother too, so we had a lot of pasta for lunch that month...
... why am i telling you this?
Tumblr media
... again.
Tumblr media
jinpei's fate is to keep dying. like in a time loop, but he saves himself somehow with his catboy whimsy
Tumblr media
... i say, as if i don't squee every time i see a noko when i play yokai watch
Tumblr media
oh, i get it! longcat!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
THIS was the scene that made "jinpei has comphet" from a joke to an actual theory, LIKE. he's looking at it because it's a book to solve love problems (even though it has a enra photos too?), and he feels guilty because it was his fault emma turned into a snake. he doesn't even care that she likes him, as shown here:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and he has ZERO INTEREST in girls his age. not even kuka (we'll. we'll get to that) who is apparently so beautiful it's distracting boys and they cannot perform well academincally, gets a reaction out of him.
the girls he likes tend to be motherly. enra is a nurse, lana is. basically raimu's mom lol
the only exception are the cashier lady and the girl from the first episode, but it's likely that he just thought the girl was cool and with the cashier lady, he was just imitating the cashier dude.
also, he rarely gets flustered when enra is actually interacting with the club. i remember this one time enra complimented him and jinpei just laughed playfully. that was it. he blushes sometimes when matarou compliments him, though!
his deal with matarou is also clearly a crush, the moment he leaves the school he misses him and wants to summon him back, and when he was about to sacrifice himself, jinpei clung to him because he didn't want him to go, and it's the first time jinpei cried in a serious manner. because he didn't want him to go.
THEN THERE'S RAIMU. he became so obsessed with being his friend even though he only met him for like 10 minutes, since they got along almost instantly. raimu kept being all "i don't want friends. i don't NEED friends i am a being of darkness and destruction and also both jesus and the antichrist" and jinpei kept being so stubborn for no actual reason, he just. really likes raimu
anyways i think jinpei is jingay and his comphet stems from lacking a mother figure.
reading him like this makes this series both more frustrating and more enjoyable to watch, actually.
Tumblr media
this would later consume my brain for 3 years, actually

"Can’t Help Myself" (2016 - Sun Yuan & Peng Yu) / "Two Earthlings" (2003/2009 - John Brosio)

But its task is never done, the liquid eventually oozes back out onto the floor. It just makes me so sad, the futility of its work. TWO EARTHLINGS: When I first saw this painting and then it’s title it was like getting punched in the gut. In a good way. It’s super contextualized by it’s title, of course, and it really gets me in the heart!! There’s lots of artwork around that juxtaposes our modern lives with humans of the past in ways that make you feel connected to them and feel a sense of kinship for them, but this one stretches that feeling back millions of years beyond humans back to earlier eras of earth, and makes you feel that sense of connection with ancestors so old and different we aren’t recognizable as each other unless put into perspective in the way this painting and it’s title do, all because we share the same planet. It really really makes me emotional and I think at the very least more people deserve to see it and think about it. (reactorc0re)
