Dorinkudouji, also called "Dorin-kun" is a youmajin yokai from the Mysterious tribe, he is the fusion of Trusthon/Shutendouji. He is one of the very few youmajin yokais who are not of the evil alignment even at events where unknown people wore the Chimera Watch.

He's a pretty optimistic guy and doesn't worry too much about bad things... is there an exception?

He may be a calm guy, but when something unexpected happens or some other moment he acts crazy and speaks in the loudest tone.

He loves ancient Japanese culture and it's one of the reasons he admires classical yokai so much. He loves to dress up in flashy women's clothing, which is more for his own taste than to disguise himself.

Rise ramblings while I'm suffering with anxiety (part 3)

The Foot Clan search for the pieces of the dark armor and the key that bound the Krang continued steadily, which forced some members of the Hamato clan to sacrifice themselves at some point (Karai started this "tradition") and the Krang (or Crying Titan) ended up becoming a sacred place for the Yokai as it was the source of their lives and powers.

Centuries later, we arrive at Splinter's generation, Hamato Yoshi living with his grandfather and mother, with no news of his father, until his mother had to fulfill her duty, or sacrifice, in keeping watch to make sure that the Shredder didn't return, in other words, that someone from Foot didn't find some piece of the Kuroi Yoroi that they knew where they were. She was probably killed and they got the piece. Yoshi gets trauma, becomes an actor, gains fame, money, gets kidnapped - we know the story.

In contrast to his story, there's Draxum's. No mention of his family, how he got to where he is or whether he really has the title of Baron or if it's just his name, I believe it is, given his importance. He found a prophecy that spoke of the destruction of the Yokai by humans, but the interpretation was wrong. It was probably something like "something from above will destroy everything" and since what was above was humans it wasn't difficult for Draxum to connect the dots, although we now know that this being from above is the Shredder and that everything means both Yokai and humans.

This led to the sheep-man beginning his experiments to create warriors. He begins his experiments in the lab, gaining knowledge that the Empyrian could mutate. Draxum also researches what he could mutate, choosing turtles because they're "build to survival and defense". (Also, at some point Draxum goes to the Battle Nexus and watches a Lou Jitsu match in action, that would give him ideas)

In parallel with this story, we return to that of Yoshi. After being kidnapped by Big Mama and forced to fight in Battle Nexus for several years, he decided to refuse to fight, causing Big Mama to imprison him in a cell for several more years. Their fates cross when Draxum remembers Lou Jitsu and thinks he might be perfect for the job, sending his gargoyles to kidnap the imprisoned champion.

The gargoyles go, kidnap Lou Jitsu (willingly), take him to Baron Draxum, the two talk, turtles get mutated, they fight, the lab explodes, Lou gets mutated and scape. Draxum thought that both Lou Jitsu and the turtles had died in that fire in the laboratory. He became frustrated but didn't give up, returning with his experiments which would soon be perfected again and introduced in the first episode of the series.

For now, that's all I have on the lore of Rise of the TMNT (again, with some headcanons) and I hope to be able to research more curiosities and bring them to you. Thanks for reading this far :)

 Who is Kuro? , Most People in Kowainyan Don’t know that. He’s Usually seen in rather Abandoned looking House with Now one There. Most are afraid  to Approach as he makes very Creepy Expressions .Though his Creepy Attitude  is more to Push people away as he used to be a Watch, a seemingly a special Watch that was Abandoned and Brought  to life given   a Human Body.. it’s obvious  he doesn’t want to bond with another Person unless you can convince him to lower his Guards by being nice to him  .

Kuro seems to have a Sour and Abrasive attitude(though he often switches from being wrose Idia to being an Over the Top madman ) it’s seems like Everyone around him is “

revolting , Disgusting  , Irredeemable “  as Such thier have been many Rumors about Kuro using his UM to change people who offended into monsters which isnt true  . Though  He can be really Sweet if you can make him open up and Get past his Drastically changing Mood Swing.

The Yo-kai from Generally tend to Make them Exaggerate and Focus  a Specific part of the victims personality usually the most prominent trait  they generally  given Powers related to it ( like say a StageHog being an Actual pig) and Their body changes to accommodate  they also start to act more degenerate and Selfish . 

Though this can happen. Involuntarily through Anger and instincts on Kuro’s part and the changes occur gradually most of the time   . It can be reversed through taking the Soul out usually beating the person up if they Refuse to give up the Yo-kai Soul .

Trivia :

It's very much Suggested that Kuros owner met Thier end by  Byeol bit  and their sounds of Agony used a song which is why Kuro cant stand listening to it .

 if Kuro used his powers on Tyler or Aiden  they'd be only ones. Who'd keep Thier original Species .

Kuro  has Used His Um On  Flynn … multiple times …on accident , He said The Yo-kai Made From Him was called Mothsqurade and that looked like a Plump( putting it nicely ) Moth creature, and that it looks Cute . That being Said Mothsqurade is Dangerous due to fact That Flynn is More Violate and much Less Tolerant to Insult and Gluts himself in on Attention to near bursting.

His Dislike of Water is because Kuroi Yo-kai Watch was Thrown Into a River at the End of the shorts by Kuroi Nate. Which also explains his Dislike of Nell.

An actual ref for the Kuroi Yokai Watch version of Mayu. She basically trusted the wrong person (Kuroi Hino) after running away from an abysmally shitty home life, and got turned into a half-Yo-kai abomination. In spite of being kind of cowardly, she's still a nice girl once she stops being fearful of someone long enough to stop running away from them.

I found out about the newest Yokai Watch toys from Japan and this trailer yesterday, so I thought I'd apply myself and try to add some subtitles to it. I'm both excited and creeped out by this new watch! I've got mine preordered for Febuary so stay tuned once I get it!

The Dark Watch is Whisper

There are quite a few reasons why I think the Dark Watch is the Kuroi Watch’s version of Whisper.

It’s very long, and I kind of ramble a bit, but if you don’t mind that, here it is!

Also, if you have anything disproving this theory, I’d love to hear! (I’m a sucker for Yokai Watch content, so any that I haven’t seen is a blessing. Even if it destroys my theories.)

(Note: I’m calling the universe ‘Kuroi’ and the character ‘Dark Watch’ to avoid confusion between the two.)

Here’s the commercial with English subtitles done by Tyrest on Youtube, since I’ll be referring to it from time to time, it also has some other things that are good examples for my points:

1. In the commercial first announcing Kuroi Watch (the video above), when the Dark Watch stretches out to eat someone, it looks very similar to Whisper.

2. Though the original design for the Dark Watch when he’s stretching out has changed, he still looks a bit like Whisper, though with a much more menacing look.

3. Whisper and the Dark Watch have the same voice actor. I know sometimes voice actors/actresses voice multiple characters in a show, but Tomokazu Seki didn’t even do a different voice, which I doubt would be hard for him because he certainly has the vocal range to give the Dark Watch a different voice. You can hear it in the commercial, as well as the TV segments.

4. The main characters for Kuroi Watch are Jibanyan, Komasan, Keita/Nate, and the Dark Watch. All of the big main characters (except for Whisper) are named, and given a Kuroi Watch design, as shown in the trailer.

Why wouldn’t Whisper be a part of this AU series? He doesn’t have a canon Kuroi Watch design (I’ve looked), so where else would he be?

5. The Dark Watch is a yokai, and it’s entirely possible that he was a yokai that was sealed inside the watch. And since Whisper is sort of connected to the Yokai Watch, at least by association, it would make sense that if any yokai were to be sealed inside a watch, it would be him.

6. During the second Kuroi Watch event in Puni Puni, Whisper doesn’t appear at the start, instead it’s the Dark Watch, Rinne, and Goku Snartle/Namahage. This usually happens when another version of himself, or someone with a similar role (if Usuda-san isn’t Whisper using a disguise or something), is present.

Another part included with this is that the Dark Watch is the one giving you information about fighting Jet Black Orcanos. Admittedly, it’s in a “This guy’s gonna kick your ass, and this is how he’s gonna do it!” kinda way, but he did pretty much hire him to fight you, so yeah.

That’s it, for now. I might update this post if there’s any more connections I can make between these two, or if any more information comes to light.

My ask was: GD Draxum, Splinter and the turtles battle Shredder and the Foot. Splinter gets severely injured by Shredder. Draxum, witnessing this while fending off Lieutenant and Brute, Is shocked and horrified at first. Then, he just goes ballistic and proceeds into a murderous rampage.

They arrived only a second too late. The Foot had placed the last piece into the armor, and Kuroi Yoroi came to life, spitting fire and knocking the wind out of their lungs. Cold, almost metallic laughter echoed around them, loud and triumphant. 

“No!” Splinter shouted. “We’re too late.”

“We need to get out of here, pops!” Raph said. “We can’t take him and Foot!”

Before any of them could move further with that, the Foot ninjas rushed forward, surrounding them. Draxum stood in front of Mikey and Splinter, vines at the ready. “I’m afraid we aren’t being given much choice.”

“If it’s a fight they want,” Leo replied, drawing his sword. “It’s a fight they’ll get!”

“Let’s wreck’em!” Mikey shouted, running past Draxum and already swinging his kusari-fundo before anyone could stop him. “Cowabunga!”

And with that, the rest lunged forward, taking out as many of the ninja as they could. Draxum found himself slipping into a more defensive role, protecting the four whenever he could and tangling just as many of the enemy in his vines. He was so focused on the boys, and so used to Splinter being able to defend himself, that Draxum didn’t notice as he stormed his way through the hoard to the armor. 

It wasn’t until there was a loud clang of metal on flesh and bone and a bone chilling shout of pain that reverberated hard in his ears did Draxum realize that Splinter was no longer in their midst. 

Everything played in slow motion as they all turned, watching Splinter fly through the air and crash to the floor, skidding to a stop a few yards away. Pushing back Brute and Lieutenant with a vine, sending them crashing into the wall, Draxum and the turtles ran over to Splinter. 

He wasn’t conscious, and there was a wide gash on the side of his head, burnt and smoldering. Raph and Donnie were quick at his side, trying to rouse him. 

“Pops, pops come on,” Raph gently shook his shoulder. “Wake up.”

“He’s knocked out- we need to get out of here,” Donnie argued. “Draxum? Can you- Draxum?”

Draxum could only stare at Splinter in shock and horror. He had never been injured this badly, never once in all his years of fighting. Seeing him still was even more of a shock. Draxum’s mind went blank, and he couldn’t hear the calls from his children. He could only hear the thud of heartbeat in his ears, loud and angry like drums of war, as he turned to the rest of the Foot Clan, enraged. 

The next few minutes were a blur to him. All he could think of was Splinter lying prone on the floor and his four children, and his rage and anger as he left no Foot Clan member standing in his wake. Vines and stone ran wild, taking down anyone who stood in Draxum’s warpath towards the armor. All he could think about was ripping him limb from limb and throwing the pieces up and down the Hudson. Nothing mattered but that - not the ninja he laid waste to, the startled shouts and cries, nothing- Until he heard the frightened shouts of his sons behind him. Shouting for him to stop, shouting for him to come back. 

The beat of war ended its grip on his chest and mind, and Draxum paused for a moment to stare down the demon in front of him. He snarled. “I’ll be seeing you.”

The Dark Armor didn’t respond, but seemed to be amused. In a mad dash of vine, Draxum returned to his children, grabbing them and gently lifting up Splinter. Holding him close, the yokai summoned a portal directly to his lab. The boys ran in, and Draxum followed close behind, glaring at the decimated forces of the Foot they left in their wake as the portal blinked close. 

All that concerned him now was taking care of his fighter.
