Ranking different Kaptein Sabeltanns

Terje Formoe - 8/10

The OG, the man behind it all, the creator and songwriter of Kaptein Sabeltann's world. Absolutely diabolical laughter, just scary enough - unpredictable, almost goblin-like behaviour.

Svein Roger Karlsen - 10/10

The best Sabeltann. He has the humour, the insane acting, absolutely wonderful over-the-top facial expressions. He makes you fear him and laugh while still keeping the authority. You do not fuck with this guy.

Kyrre Haugen Sydness - 5/10

The mustache is pulling this off, hands down best mustache and make-up out of all, but not extreme enough in his acting. He is not scary and does not make me fear him - too much dignity, needs to be funnier and more physical in his acting.

Ranking different Langemanns

Audun Meling - 100/10

No one can compare to him 🥺💖 My bae. He has the authority, commands respect, and his acting is perfectly balanced between this and comedy. Yk you can always rely on him, it's his posture, the way he carries himself, it's everything. He IS Langemann. Comfort character.

Håvard Bakke - -10/10

I hate him so much. Where is the dedication to his captain?? Seems like he is tired of following Kaptein Sabeltann and cares more about other things. Too serious, does not hold the authority, seems too modern and gangly, has no friends, he is just boring. His voice is also not right (too posh?). He has no good make-up and his hair is just baaaad.

Frode Winther - 5/10

Only seen him in a few clips, but seems okay?? Though he is no Audun Meling 😔 Not a fan of the brown coat, it should be more red or orange. Not too impressed with the make-up either; too light. Have not seen him interact with the other actors so idk how his authority is.

Martin Karelius Østensen - N/A

He started as Langemann in 2020 and I can't find any pictures of how he looks in costume, only a glimpse in one music video, which is not enough to judge. But his face looks like Langemann in the books, so that's promising?

Actually I want to use Inktober just to warm up with Clip Studio which I haven't used for two years. For work reasons, trips outside Italy, LIFE, I already know that I will miss some days and I don't care ❤️

inspired by @spartalabouche i wanted to make a little masterpost of my gw2 characters

jynx ghoststep / she/her / thief (daredevil)

jynx is a middle-aged ash legionnaire and reluctant pact commander. her warband has shrunk in recent years but they are still close nonetheless. jynx has a lot of regrets and struggles under the weight of them and also her incomprehensible amount of responsibilities. she is kind of shockingly average once you get past all of her achievements and would really like a break, for once in her life

laika blindwraith / she/they / revenant (renegade)

estranged daughter of the pact commander, laika is a rather impulsive and hotheaded blood legionnaire (aspiring centurion). she is in a warband with her littermate brother and several other younger charr and resents her mother deeply for many reasons including not contacting her until adulthood and being bothered to raise TWO dragons but not her own children. she needs therapy so bad but resorts to talking to kalla scorchrazor in her head and being angry

harrow heartrender / she/her/whatever / necromancer

harrow is a retired ash legion centurion and current hermit who moved to cantha the second it was feasible for her to do so. she is jynx's mother and laika and kyrr's grandmother but she wishes they would all stop trying to contact her. she wants to sit in a cave and fish for the rest of her life and die surrounded by flesh minions

kyrr wraithsight / he/him / guardian

more teddy bear than fighter, kyrr was dragged into his sister's warband at a young age and has spent his entire life making sure she doesn't get herself killed. he has a healthier relationship with their mother and hopes that one day all of them will get along normally

ryker hailsplitter / she/they / warrior and freak

ryker is a member of the iron legion's hail warband and spends most of her days peacefully tinkering with machines. that is, until her legionnaire decided they would follow bangar ruinbringer into war. ryker ends up being forced to become frost legion but survives the entire ordeal

tsaraya / she/her / ranger

this was actually my first ever gw2 character but i just haven't done a ton with her. she is a gladium. i might make her olmakhan in some capacity, i don't know yet! i like her design though :)

they are putting me down next week cuz i put my little guy into this universe too. anyway i don't have anything super concrete i think she would be born in kryta but her parents would be like ambassadors to elona or something and as a result would spend a lot of time traveling abroad. no dragon powers or anything. just some guy
