Almost finished Six of Crows and I just have to say that Show!Anthony Lockwood and Kaz Brekker will get along so well...

This is how they talk about the girl they love...

4. They both are teenage boys forced to grow up and be a leader for their team

5. They both come up with genius impromptu life threatening plans

7. They both have built up their walls to prevent themselves from suffering the lose of a loved one again.

8. They are both orphans and we're partly brought up by their older siblings

I still hate the cancellation of Lockwood and Co.

I'm sure we would have seen the first Locklyle kiss, as well as the formalization of Goerge & Flo as a couple and Holly as a lesbian in the version of the show.

The fact that Locklyle and George & Flo end up together is only suggested in the book, so no real conversations on the subject and even fewer kisses are shown to us, while Holly is insinuated that she is a lesbian, but nothing is confirmed either.

Once again, the show definitely took a more direct route with the number of times Locklyle observed each other's mouths as well as the George & Flo scenes which exude a fairly obvious form of flirt.

It's really a shame.

We finally had the opportunity to see the romances of this story officially come to fruition and maybe even meet Holly's roommate and... Netflix ruined everything.

Something that was really weird to me when reading the Lockwood and Co. books is that I wasn't able to immediately clock George as neurodivergent like I was able to in the show. He just felt like more of a jerk in the books at first.

But then I got why. Lucy is the POV character.

We see everything and everyone through her eyes and interpretations. The reason I couldn't tell George was neurodivergent in the books immediately is because LUCY couldn't tell. And of course as the viewer of a show, I am the POV and I'm able to look at George's facial expressions, patterns of speech and his ghost lore hyperfixation and go: One of Us! One of Us! ONE OF US!
