I AM AN ARTIST AND I SPENT ALL DAY WALKING THE HALLS OF THE CAPITOL ADVOCATING FOR THE ARTS BUDGET TO THE SENATE AND THE HOUSE AND IT SUCKED AND EVERYTHING WAS SO BRIGHT AND LOUD AND I WAS PERFORMING SO WELL AND I WAS VERY CHARMING AND MASKING SO WELL AND I DROPPED OFF FOLDERS AND HELD MEETING WITH TWO SENATORS AND A REPRESENTATIVE ASKING THEM TO VOTE FOR OUR TAX BILL THAT WILL DOUBLE THE CURRENT AMOUNT OF THE BUDGET ALLOCATED TO THE ARTS, BUT MAKE IT WHAT IT WAS BEFORE THE 2008 RECESSION AND I HAD A WONDERFUL DAY AND I FEEL SO POWERFUL AND VERY GRASSROOTS AND I ASKED THE ARTS ORGANIZATION IF THEY HAD ANY ENTRY LEVEL POSITIONS OPEN BC IM GRADUATING IN MAY AND THEY WERE LIKE YES HERE ARE THREE POSITIONS THAT I THINK YOU WOULD BE PERFECT FOR AND I DONT KNOW IM THINKING ABOUT MAYBE ONE DAY RUNNING FOR OFFICE IN LIKE 10 YEARS BECAUSE THEY ONLY MEET FOR THE PARTIAL YEAR AND I FEEL LIKE THAT VIBES WITH ME BEING AN ARTIST A LITTLE BIT? IT WOULD CERTAINLY FUEL MY PRACTICE AND I COULD TAKE A MINI "BREAK" FROM ART MAKING, AND ALWAYS GET BACK TO IT. I AM ALWAYS AN ARTIST. EVERYTHING I DO IS ART IF I SAY IT IS. MARCEL DUCHAMP. chrono bunny costume who also helps him stay on task (balan is very bad with time management when he’s newly created and will spend the whole day focusing on one guest if he can. they also make sure he wakes up on time because he will also sleep the whole day if he can)

ladderman. no other ideas for this but i saw his picture while making the wheel a while back and had forgotten he was kind of cool

the elf again. it’s a cute idea to me and also balan likes making little clothes for them because it’s a good challenge for his sewing skills

i want to make another oc so balan can have a costume critter friend like lance has aster but idk what Critter to choose. i do like the idea of him carrying the little elf costume in a front pocket on his suit however

About the criticism of Balan’s “true form”...

I was expecting this to happen ever since I accidentally saw spoilers a few days before launch, but...

It’s reasonable to see Balan’s skin/coding(???) as ‘black‘ pre-game, and being disappointed in his real form, but accusing of “whitewashing“ is a bit much.

His true form is an anime boy similar to the humans/inhabitants, but his Hat form has thick simple hair, circular face, big teeth, eyes going through his giant hat, and very cartoony/overthetop attitude & movements...it’s similar to that of the humanoid costumes like Invisibleman/Ladderman/Amadeus, who also has ‘black/grey’ skin & simplified yet exaggerated features.

There’s also that both is pitch white or pitch black/dark grey instead of any shade of human skin. He’s supposed to be race-less.

A oto 3 ostatnie już arty związane z grą Balan Wonderworld, powiem wam że namordowałam się z tymi pracami, najwięcej czasu zajął mi art z Rozdziału 11, gdzie znów mamy o jeden kostium więcej, jak myślicie, który z nich jest tym “Tajnym Kostiumem” z 11? Tę zagadkę pozostawiam już wam, powiem wam iż zrobiłam już wszystkie takie arty, nie znaczy że zaprzestałam tworzyć nowe, mam jeszcze kilka innych pomysłów na arty związane z Balan Wonderworld, a ten kto chciałby sobie zrobić plakat na kompa z tych artów to może, przecież każdy może mieć swój ulubiony plakat z danego rozdziału z gry o Balan Wonderworld, prawda? A tak z innego tematu, tutaj też mam ulubione kostiumy z tych rozdziałów, a są to: R10 - Air Unicorn, Sneaky Lizard i Double Trouble, z R11 - Flame Blaster, Ladderman i Water Blaster (byłoby za dużo, ale Key Mouse też polubiłam), a z R12 - Invisible Man, Fixer-upper i Sun Walker. Powiem wam że jestem bardzo przejęta nadchodzącą premierą, wszyscy moi znajomi zastanawiają się czy w grze oprócz Japońskiego dialogu (chodzi o samą mowę), będzie też i dialekt Angielski, co prawda w DEMO gry mieliśmy wyłącznie Japoński z Angielskimi napisami, ale kto powiedział że pełna wersja gry nie może być dwujęzyczna, może będzie możliwość wyboru języka, tak jak i z wyborem napisów, ale to już przekonamy się o tym jak nasza wymarzona gra trafi do sklepów, ja sama liczę na to że gra wyjdzie w Angielskim dialekcie, byłoby chociaż zgodne z Angielskimi napisami, a do tego czasu cieszmy się z tego co mamy, gra Balan Wonderworld już jest moją ulubioną grą na całym świecie ;).
