Iris was walking down the street, gently humming the tune to Invincible Rainbow Arrow to herself. She was stressed out still, obviously, but it was enough to help her calm her nerves while walking around. And she didn’t mean for it to be loud enough to hear... but clearly what she intended for wasn’t going to happen, because she quickly noticed a woman with red hair looking at her. 

“Oh, oops- sorry, was I being loud?”

poetry readings are by no means rare for lanque to attend, much less perform, but during the night is questionable at best. a mix of readings of printed works and independently written material, lanque being one of the poets to read the latter. he has no loss of confidence, but the memories of the messages in even these new poems bring a tear to his eye.

bowing after his performance, he’s usually not one to leave so early. but it’s late, he’s not drunk or in bed with someone, and that’s a problem he has to attend to asap. while lanque is sure the woman right outside the theater is opening her mouth to congratulate him... he’s out. he’s free to drop the act. he blinks back into his true self, eyeing luna up and down. ugh, what a disappointing figure. that outfit is unflattering as all hell, too. undoing his tie, he takes out a compact mirror before correcting his fading lipstick.

“ thanks, but that’s just act one. act two is just a couple blocks over, if you’re not afraid of getting up close and personal. ”

When it comes to angst, i’m not 100% sure how it’ll be for Iris yet. she’s still pretty fresh to me as a muse, and tbh she hasn’t had any chances for it in isola lmao. 

However, i do enjoy some good angst from time to time, and Iris has plenty of opportunities for angst. Honestly, just make her have to be in the same room as So or Saito and she’ll be pretty fuckin upset, for good reason,

Probably the easiest way to get to her would be to hurt her family. Doing anything to her mom or Date or Mizuki would be heartbreaking to her, she loves her family more than anything and they really do mean the world to her. Her friends are important to her as well, and honestly she’d be very upset if someone somehow tried to hurt Manaka.
