a rewrite of dual destinies is peculating in my brain. imagining an au where apollo & athena actually met when she was a kid, but she doesn’t want to admit to it, so apollo starts getting suspicious of her way before cosmic turnabout. at first he brushes it off bc like she’s 18 & he knows she’s lived abroad most of her life so obviously she’s just saving face bc when they met the first time she did something super embarrassing or w/e but when juniper gets accused, he tries to bond w her by talking about clay & it sets his bracelet off again so he’s like. hm. and goes to talk to klavier about it & we finally get a “oh huh kristoph kinda fucked us up huh” scene. apollo knows klav was suspicious of his brother & wants to know how you just like. handle feeling like someone is constantly lying to you. unfortunately klavier’s main suggestion is “lie back” (as in, if they don’t tell you the truth don’t tell the truth to them, either not that he’s giving apollo a backrub) which leads to apollo asking trucy to take his place on the last day of the turnabout academy trial bc he just. can’t handle it. luckily trucy is a magician & a master of manipulation so she does great at figuring out the whole statue thing & doesn’t even get attacked by a bird once

Crack Idea:

Klavier hears Apollo sing once (drunk karaoke, long story), and it keeps him up because it seems sorta familiar and he can't place why.

The way he looked.

The way he SANG.

He's strumming his guitar as he thinks and catches a burn scar on his hand.

The scar.

Sunshine Coliseum.

LAMIRIOR.

What!?

He does his own investigation to the connection, but gets caught by Phoenix in the process.

Phoenix knows it's "not his secret to tell," but figures a nudge in that direction doesn't count. Klavier's a smart kid and he's sick of Thalassa's excuses anyway.

Phoenix works his cryptic bullshit magic and neither confirms nor denies anything Klav asks, but may or may not "accidentally" leave a prudent case file unattended.

Klavier gets more evidence, and Phoenix gets to technically keep his promise and get justice (ha) for his kids. Win win.

One last thing to do...

"Before you leave, Klavier, there's one more thing you should take with you."

"Herr Wright?"

He nonchalantly palms the magatama to him.

"A good luck charm. Something tells me it'll help you get the answers you're looking for. Just be sure you know what you're doing during the confrontation, alright?"

"How did you...?"

"The last time I saw that look in someone's eyes, Apollo decked me. I know what righteous anger looks like."

"Herr Forehead did WHAT!?"

"Relax, I deserved it. Now go get her, tiger. Just don't do anything that you'll need to post bail for."

"Thank you, Herr Wright!"

"Don't mention it."

And off he goes.

Phoenix only hopes that whatever happens, Klavier doesn't give Kristoph the satisfaction of ending up like him.

im so so sorry for the delay on these!! ive been very busy with school and personal stuff </3 but here are days 9 through 14 !! (in order !)

some little notes :3-

trucy is looking at lamiriors promotional art on her phone and listening to her songs!!!

the throwback one is a parallel to an offical artwork of mia helping maya fix the sacred urn !! changed some things to make it more accurate but it is supposed to look like that art <3

maya is more like a sister to phoenix and miles' many children but shes also phoenix's brother (trust) and they are making cookies for their parents ^w^

sorry the last one isnt that creative.. miles is the only one (and the easiest one) i could think of for this :P

Imagine some celebrity gossip reporter interviewing Lamirior. aa4 takes place in 2026 so there are definitely people on the internet calling mid-fourties Lamirior Mother. What if someone asked how she felt about it.

"To be honest I find it quite distressing. I have two children but I have never been a constant presence in their lives. I was separated with my eldest when he was still an infant and i haven't spoken to him since, for 20 years I presumed him dead. My youngest still believes her father and uncle caused my death. They have both transitioned in my absence. So really what right do I have to be called a mother?"

What I'm saying is imagine Thalassa getting called mother on the internet in the year of our lord 2026. Her ass is not taking that well.

I have a rough idea of a hypothetical "Apollo Justice 2: Truth and Consequences" - That takes place one year after Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney.

There are five cases in total, with one flashback case about Apollo's past and how he met Kristoph Gavin - a "where I started, and here I am now" tutorial case.

Along with solving cases with Trucy (and a few of the witnesses returning, like Wocky Kitaki and Vera Misham) - We have Klavier Gavin serve as Apollo's opposing counsel, in every case except the finale.

In the background we have...

The fallout of Kristoph's first arrest in Turnabout Trump, as well as his indictment in Turnabout Succession, and what that means for Klavier sharing the same last name

Phoenix Wright studying to become a lawyer again, so he's more out of focus but gives Apollo advice every once in a while

Another case involving Lamirior, and the possibility of her telling Trucy and Apollo the most important secret of all

And Apollo just gaining more life and professional experience his second year as a lawyer

It all comes together in the finale case, Turnabout Farewells, where Klavier is framed for murder and Apollo must defend him in court. He faces off against Erik van Zieks, The Crusading Prosecutor (descendant of Barok van Zieks, Reaper of the Bailey) - who's earned a reputation in Europe and then Japanifornia for aggressively going after those involved in the law who are accused of breaking it.

The stakes are higher than ever, because if Apollo loses, Klavier will be deported and face another trial in Germany, where Apollo has no chance of helping him.

It's a hard fought battle, but Apollo finally wins. Klavier is in tears from gratitude and hugs both Trucy and Apollo, Erik takes the loss gracefully and calls Apollo a worthy opponent, while Ema and Phoenix give their congratulations.

The ending is on a positive note, with Apollo being more confident than before and Klavier releasing a new single inspired by his time in the defendant's chair, titled "One Phone Call" (referring to the call he made to Apollo the night before he even agreed to defend him.)

That is Lamirior's outfit. That is straight-up her outfit.

You'd think she was paying tribute to a well-loved vocalist (and with Klav's presence all but confirmed, he probably suggested the idea), but no! The in-universe explanation apparently is that she just so happened to make an identical costume design.

Why does Dual Destinies insist at nodding at AJ while hitting its toes with a hammer???

I stay out of lawyer x prosecutor ships but these mfs are so bright and warm, you can't deny they've be absolutely adorable~

maybe if they start dating they could ask to not be opponents in court as to not create conflict of interest and not sour the relationship, so professional!!

(i also ship him with Lamirior and Iris. Franziska and Kay comin as runner-ups ;v)

Stream is done for the night!

We did some investigation, met Valant Gramarye (after struggling to say the name), watched Apollo tease Trucy, Trucy tease Apollo, and Klavier being a simple dork to the two. Also Lamirior got beaned on the head, the child is a potential smuggler and Daryan is really a dick head.

Thanks to everyone who dropped by, I'm still on the fence for Wednesday stream but I will keep yall posted.

Apollo Wright AU

Apollo was a major mama's boy. He loved her so much. They would cuddle, and he would tell her all about school, and she was always so proud of him.

And when Zak comes home one night and tells him she died, there was an accident at the show, he doesn't totally believe it. Because he never gets the full story. He doesn't get to see her body. There's not even much of a funeral. And most of all, Apollo doesn't trust Zak.

He never gives hope that his mom is still alive. He doesn't tell Trucy about any of it because that feels a little cruel.

So the day he's face to face with Lamirior, he sobs and tries holding her. But she doesn't recognize him, and he's pulled off of her. And he cries even more because he guess he really did lose his mother all those years ago.

i think it’d be funny if after aa4 lamirior decides to do like. a magician themed album. like she has this epiphany of like, “you know, maybe my buddy klavier has the right idea, plus it would be a perfect way for me to start to to reconcile these two parts of my identity & get me more used to the idea of who i was before my amnesia.” of course trucy isn’t stupid so inevitably as soon the album comes out & she listens to the first song she’s like. oh. i see now.

Eurydice- Apollo Justice

Orpheus- Klavier Gavin

Hermes- Miles edgeworth (not so sure about this one, but Klavier has so little character its hard to figure out anyone better)

Hades- Kristoph Gavin

Persephone- Phoenix Wright (also not so sure but its the best i got)

The workers- maybe the gramaryes??? Idk

The fates- no clue, lamirior and machi???
