A portrait I just did for fun and as the person ended up not wanting it of their Finnish Lapphund, GCH NordicSol Sugarok Legolas Puffskein "Lego". Polychromos and Luminance colored pencils used on 9"X12" Strathmore paper.

And the wolf the character named after a slur is based off of is the NEWFOUNDLAND wolf. They could just name her Newfoundland or Newfound or something. It would make as much sense and Newfound would even fit with her cutting ties to her family. And we’ve already got Lunacub, so it’s not like it’s completely out of nowhere to have a character with a name like this.

Any name would be better than a slur, anyways.

I honestly wonder if she was originally modelled after a Finnish Lapinkoira (unfortunately commonly known as L*pphound) and was just changed to a Newfoundland to like. Idk obfuscate that it was a direct Sámi ripoff?

Idk. The more people tell me about the character the more out of place so many details seem.

Im fucking sorry but these two apparently need to pay 125$ each just to be able to have a pet in the apartment building?? No! That is not "doable" what the fuck! That's like one vet visit! Who the fuck, as a receptionist, has enough to pay the adoption fee(maybe smaller because its shelter), and then on top of that 125.....I might just be clueless about how much things cost in the adult world. And a dog no less! Especially a lapinkoira! Those bitches need so much room to run around, and constantly need attention and walks! I couldn't even take care of one cat by myself! Sorry but y'all are fucking weird. Buying a dog that'll grow to knee hight, while living in an average apartment building in the city. Weirdos. Normal people have too much energy.
