Encore une fois il y a un autre contraste entre Frieren et Serie en tant que mentor, Serie souhaite avoir un apprenti qui serait son égal et l'avait espéré avec Flamme mais elle considérait que son apprentissage était un échec. Et pourtant parmi les apprenties qu'elle a formé, elle se souvient de chacun d'eux et n'a jamais regretté de les avoir prit sous son aile. Mais comme elle ne montre que son côté, elfe des connaissances, Larzen croyait que sa relation avec elle n'était qu'à sens unique. Frieren en revanche, montre ses différentes facettes à Fern et les autres donnant une relation plus fusionnelle. Et bien qu'elle a parfois du mal à les comprendre. Elle essaie de les aider et les comprendre à sa manière.

She tries to help and understand them in her own way.

There’s a long yellow notepad on the desk, and he grabs it, writing down what little he knows.

Larzen was quiet for a few moments following this, looking down in thought, his gaze losing only a little of his intensity. He didn't look surprised. Of course he didn't, he was perfectly aware of Cercil's existence, something he was about to explain to Guin, but all the same....

...Geno had found data? This could be huge...

"I know of Cercil," Larzen spoke up steadily, looking at Guin again, though with a strangely careful look to his gaze, like the topic was delicate. "They've been spotted multiple times and I know they're connected to Veryn...even if he's done a pretty good job of keeping their connection to him obscure. It's one of the things I've been trying to implicate him of doing- violating the Accords, I mean- but before, we simply never had the proof..."

He breathed in through his nose, then let it out with a small smirk. "Until now. Veryn trusts Silver a lot...he'll regret trusting him too much, now. He must not have counted Geno coming across the info and actually having a moral compass." He frowned again however, resting his chin on a palm, fingers tapping against the desk idly. "Guin....did he send anything to help us out with this? We need actual proof, the word of Silver's apprentice alone won't be enough."
