As a Laszlo Cravensworth appreciator this episode broke me. At the start of the series Laszlo had no idea how to raise baby Colin and wanted him to grow up to be just like him. As the series progressed we see Laszlo slowly warm up to the idea of being a parent, especially in this final episode, when it's clear how much he cared about Colin.

Just as he thinks he's got the hang of it, Colin grows up and loses all of his memories. This is where we finally get to understand how much Laszlo really did care, even if he didn't show it.

Colin humming the first song baby Colin sang at the nightclub, him not remembering a single thing about the past year, him not even KNOWING he was a happy child who was very much loved by everyone in the house. It breaks my heart.

I'm glad we got old Colin back, but Laszlo and Guillermo were not the only ones who lost their boy tonight, we all did.

It’s actually so smart how they addressed Collin Robinson’s origins.

The energy vampire a concept is super cool, and as the series progresses we get to see more and more of Collin Robinson’s draining techniques, which were effective but quickly dated.

Colin Robinson two hundred years ago wouldn’t be as effective as people talking about Super Old Things are either fascinating or weird and escapable.

Rebirthing every hundred years is so clever when you think about it. It gives him a chance to relearn how to be annoying but in a more modern setting so that he’s constantly on top of his game.

Thinking about how at the beginning of the season Laszlo was appalled that Baby Colin enjoyed musical theater. And now, in the finale, he sings a song from a musical about how he misses his son and how they performed musical theater together.
