Beastie - I had a need to draw a beast(ie). So here we go

Moon beast lore/notes:

In this episode we learned more about Lucia’s sister who was part mute/beast and it was revealed she was the big bad of the series ( shocker to no one ) and since the beasts are controlled by the moon she wants to be able to control it.. I think you can see where I’m going with this..

BUT!! she’s going to use the other beasts, combine everyone together and become the moon beast. And Bebo said something interesting during that reveal

he said “is this the moon beast origin story”

and grizzly replied saying yes.

so i was like the other campaigns must know of this “world” since its like the moon beast origin getting me to think, since all of the worlds are connected through the moon beast

they must be in somewhat of the same universe or something and I’m just trying to connect all of the campaigns together..

the thing I’m lost about it that, it’s cannon that Peter made up the moon beast during his fight with Exandroth (I think???) And Chip had to be involved with that history somehow since he summoned it and cause the other characters had no idea who the moon beast was..

Weither it be from hearing a myth or like a legend from Finn or Arlin— idk but I feel like he knew it before the others for a reason.

that's why the others don't know, because the Moon Beast is a land/sky beast, not a sea beast so gillion wouldn't know and Jay wouldn't know because she had military school to deal with, they didn't have time for myths and fantasy!!

last thing:

I think if the worlds are connected all I know is Prime defenders is last since they have powers and canonically they live on a planet that’s not earth. I was thinking after riptide??? like to escape from The Navy or something????

hi howdy hey i saw some of your posts about burningshadow on the burning spice tag and i haven't personally decided which beast ships i like the most but when i saw your post i had a thought i thought i'd shoot your way: so irl if you eat something spicy and then drink some milk it would ease the spiciness, something about being around shadow milk making burning spice feel more calm when he's around? also maybe there's something to be done w/ how the light from a fire can cast shadows? idk

He is definitely more chill around Shadow Milk but he’s also the type to very happily encourage his bf to kill people. Basically his personal cheerleader

A second Beast of Basalt, taking inspiration from columnar basalt like before, but also the phenomenon of flood basalt. The tail is composed of a'a lava, and makes that clinkery, glassy sound when it gets swung! I painted this with acrylic inks.

kanjigar is climbing on a giant fire beast to reach the head of the fire beast to free hammert and draal turned into trophy statues so that between the 3 of them they can fuse so that hammert has his dawn form and between the 3 of them they can defeat the giant beast and free troll jim who is trapped inside the beast

SO! Doctor Who! The Star Beast! It was... Very Disney. Some parts, and especially the new TARDIS and the reactions to it at the end... Felt very Disney and not enough Doctor Who. It also looked like the insides of the giant centre parks flumes lmao.

I loved the first section, the comedy was on point, but then everything did get very ott, like too much all at once, it felt chaotic in a way that didn't feel cohesive, it was like they shoved in too much for it to handle. And exposition wise, idk if there actually was much exposition but it really felt like there was a ton. And the ending, sweet ig, but it felt...

yk when there's a big ending and it's all saved by "THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP TM" OR "TRUE LOVES KISS" and wrapped up with a little now that makes you grown and feels like a cop out, the easy way that doesn't make much sense and feels like they didn't put much effort in. Yeah, felt like that but it was "the power of gender TM." And ik tumblr is gonna eat that up, but I think other parts of the episode to do with gender and stuff were far more meaningful, and this felt like it was cheapening it.

Beauty and the Beast Lavacake AU

I could totally see a "Crazy Old Caprise" scene in a Beauty and the Beast AU with Marella. There could be many renditions for the beast, but I'm going with the lavacake ship because Fitz could be seen as a "beast" trying to combat his temper that he uses as a natural defense. The loss of his family in that world be such a cool thing to explore. I don't really ship them, but I just love to think about the world building behind this AU. Imagine the empty Everglen that Fitz inherits after his family mysteriously disappears (probably killed by Alvar accidentally, leading Fitz to kill Alvar after it is too late), so that the idea of being a beast comes from Fitz being known as the one who killed his brother and is rumored to have killed his entire family (would probably just be the idea of what others would spread turned into rumors of him killing a bunch of other people). This would occur when they were adults, so Marella would reach out to the person who used to be a friend, and then similar plot to the Disney movie version except she stays in one of the extra rooms at Everglen of her own volition. Maybe they are alive, but in coma like states. If it was the idea that their minds were broken, then Sophie would be Belle in that.

Sketches of Caprise (Maurice), Allen (Lumiere), Della (Mrs. Potts), Bianca (the Wardrobe), Alvar (Cogsworth), Fitz (Beast), and Marella (Belle)

Most of them make sense, but Alden is Lumiere because he's one of the main caretakers of the house, and Alvar is Cogsworth because his time was running out because of Fitz's murder attempt, which would work in this version. Also, the hands of the clock work great for scars. I just realized that I forgot Biana's scars, but they be like when someone damages the wood of furniture with little splinter cracks.
