“Full Spectrum” by Flynn Talbot for Australia’s entry in the @london_design_biennale. Pentagram's Charles Darwin-inspired campaign for London Design Biennale 2018. This year's London Design Biennale will be devoted to the theme of emotional states and how design affects every aspect of our lives – the way we live and how we live – and influences our very being, emotions and experiences. With the theme in mind, Pentagram – for the second consecutive time – created the visual identity and promotional materials for the Biennale, using a strict colour palette of orange, black and white. Taking inspiration from Charles Darwin's seven universal emotions, Pentagram created and commissioned a series of arresting masks, handmade by Wakefield-based paper artist Andy Singleton and photographed by London-based John Ross. #ldb18 @london_design_biennale @andysingleface #lovemyjob #lovedesign #emotionalstates (at Milan, Italy)

#ART & #CULTURE | @belleannee checking in. The 2018 #LondonDesignBiennale is well under way and has taken over @somersethouse. Australian artist @flynntalbot’s interactive installation “Full Spectrum” takes inspiration from Australia’s legalisation of same-sex marriage and, as he puts it, the “tangible feeling of love in the air.” @london_design_biennale is on until 23 September with 40 countries, cities and territories exhibiting. #LDB18 #thisislondon #LDF18 // 📸 excellent pic by the fantastic @hipster.grammer https://ift.tt/2NFp28I
