Webcomic Check: June 2022
Let’s see how these guys are doing again.
Spinnerette: Somehow, Captain Alberta returned, and now he has attacked Minerva! I am surprised we’re getting a main comic arc that focuses on the Canadian Superfucks WITHOUT it being drawn by Walter Gomez, I suppose he has moved on for good.
Las Lindas: There’s a random raccoon woman who shows up and Minos references The Knighthood, which is the Crest Army I guess. Oh good, it’s been 20 years and you STILL haven’t told Mora about that shit? Also, Rachel kicks raccoon woman in the face. Chalo’s art is starting to become crappy again which is nothing new.
Carnivores: Now we get “7th Universe” stuff so in other words Carnivores now has entered multiverse trend. And just like all other multiverse stories there is nothing different in this universe aside from some brown rat getting tailwhipped by a shark, damn, even when he gets an opportunity to have someone be eaten, he doesn’t do it. Austin what happened to you?
Legacy of Dominic Deegan: Ink Witch hugs a random crying woman while Snout is dressed in overalls with “deaf” written on it. Oh jeez. At least I like that this comic still sticks to there being no dialogue.

For my old friends I feel I should share this bad news. Mookie is experimenting with nudity, specifically a boringly “human” mongrelman cock and balls. On the plus side there will be less gore.
You may have noticed the full-frontal (mongrel)male nudity in today’s comic.  Expect more of that, both male and female, in The Legacy of Dominic Deegan.  Six years have passed since I made the last comic for Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire, and in that time I’ve rearranged my priorities when it comes to what I want represented in my work.  For this new series, I won’t be censoring or obscuring nude forms and I’m doing away with graphic violence.
I was a much younger man when I started Oracle for Hire back in 2002.  I loved splattery gore and body horror.  I squealed at the chance to play in gory fantasy, ripping bodies apart and gleefully drawing blood-splatter all over every panel I could.  I was a real gore-hound, so to speak, and indulged that in the medium of comics.  But, as time went on, I got those gory spectacles out of my system and began to notice what we readily censor and what we eagerly embrace.
We tend to accept graphic violence without much thought, but the presentation of a nude body is almost unthinkable without a content advisory.  As the years have rolled on I’ve noticed how accepted graphic violence has become in most mainstream media, to the point where I find myself going, “Oh wow, they went that far on TV?  They blew that dude’s face half off his head!”  But things like breasts, buttocks, and genitals?  Things like loving, consensual sex?  Unthinkable.  Dead and dismembered bodies?  Horrific violence?  Now those are acceptable for modern audiences without warning.
Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoy indulging in ridiculous splatter.   Mortal Kombat 11 is one of my favorite games these days.  But doing The Legacy means doing things differently.  It means challenging myself to make something I’ve never made before, and to approach comics in a way that’s outside my comfort zone.  And maybe, in this case, to challenge some preconceived notions as to what’s acceptable and what isn’t.
So consider this your “content advisory” for The Legacy of Dominic Deegan.  There’s going to be nudity.  It’s going to be uncensored but I’m going to do my best to keep it “natural” instead of “explicit” or “gratuitous.”  There isn’t going to be any graphic violence.  Like I said before, I got that out of my system during the Oracle for Hire years, and you’re welcome to revisit all those splattery comics any time you like.  There may even be loving, consensual sex scenes if the story calls for them.  We’ll see what happens.
Seriously it was possibly the most boring male genitalia I’ve seen in art, he had all of nature to draw upon but no, just a bland, boring dick and scrotum

Webcomic Check: Spring 2023
It’s gonna be May.
Spinnerette: GOD, are these White Heron spinoffs STILL going? At least the artist has been the same all these years, and I would argue that these do look the most professional of all Spinny arcs. Anyways, there’s some chub we don’t care about who cries about their Korean girlfriend, who broke their heart. Who gives a shit? Seriously, White Heron doesn’t have fanservice or fetishes minus Tomboy Soldier. It’s clear Kraw is putting the most effort into these story-wise, but what’s the point when your fanbase only wants porn?
Las Lindas: “Are you superheroes???” WFHIBFKJBKJEFEKJFEJKBFKJEBEHJNBFEHJKARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME
Okay okay chill Me, let’s recap this page. There’s a weird elephant, a superbusty raccoon who I hope is NOT Tiare, some guy who looks fucking VeERGHmon and they’re all talking about Phi’s disappearance. Does this comic finally have conflict again? And then Miles asks that question and they go “yeah, let’s go with that”. Why does EVERY single webcomic I riff eventually evolve into capeshit or capeshit-adjacent genre? I guess Las Lindas hasn’t gotten good ratings and Chalo wants to ape off the Spinnerette audience. Well not THE Spinnerette audience, but you know what I mean. The horny teens who are sick of mainstream superhero comics not having any fanservice so they’re flocking to the indie scene in droves. I would say this comic jumped the shark but it has done so about million times in the past.
Carnivores: We see another instance of actual vore in this comic. Flock of animals are eating stuff and then Polar Bear comes and kills them all, while Austin recalls this event. The whole thing is framed like a weird flashback. When did this comic turn into Quantum Leap but with Austin?
Legacy of Dominic Deegan: Some shark dude shows Snout past memories. We see arguing Orcs from earlier, a dead woman and at some point Snout died or something. I have no clue what’s happening but I guess that’s the point.

Webcomic Check: Spring 2024
Boy is it ever Spring.
Las Lindas: We see Rachel get an ELEPHANT HIT as we
Tumblr media
WHAT THE FUCK? WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT? WHOSE GOOD IDEA WAS IT TO GIVE AN ELEPHANT HAIR? It literally should just have been Miss McLea and nobody else on that stupid superhero group.
And Miles and Rachel are freaking out about a LAKE being thrown at them. This fight scene has been going on forever. And everyone looks so bad.
Spinnerette: My god, is Kraw doing anything but White Heron now? There is now a book out focusing on White Heron? If it's good, I might consider buying it, but you know, it comes with a downside of having to monetarily support Kraw. Ew.
Monster Girl Academy: Zack is banging the Spider Girl, if you're expecting the spider girl to basically be Espinn again, hahahahaha YOU ARE FUCKING WRONG. Anyways his grandpa comes to see them have sex, I hope we get another crying spanish girl moment with the grandpa. Also the grandpa has more appealing design than 90% of this comic's characters. He's just an egg.
Tumblr media
Carnivores:
Tumblr media
No comment. And there is a punchline that involves shiteating.
Legacy of Dominic Deegan: Some eldritch horror possesses a woman, who turns out to be daughter of a woman who's been bringing false shepherds to their home. Are all of these characters related to someone from the main comic?
Anyways I have no clue what the context is otherwise but dialogue is somewhat of an improvement from Dominic Deegan.
Alien Dice: Instead of being met with a comic page, we're met with this information.
My last update was at the start of my house problems. I’ve been updating the progress/lack of progress on Patreon. We had an incompetent insurance adjuster. They put us in temporary housing, which was nice as dealing with insurance was a chore of constant delays where the adjuster was in over her head and couldn’t keep up. This blew up at the end of January when she dragged her feet in approving our housing extension. We were notified with less than 24 hours notice, that we had to leave the property, with NOWHERE to go. That’s with two dogs, three cats, and my autistic daughter. That was a nightmare. The adjuster vanished. Thankfully, ALE (The housing coordinators) got us into an extended stay hotel the next day. That’s where we are now. All of my equipment is in storage and has been. I have my laptop and that’s it. The good news is that we have a new adjuster who is more eager to get through this, but basically, we’re starting from scratch. Most of the repairs have been approved. The floors were removed down to the beams and plywood is down. They tore out sections of the water damaged walls and removed asbestos. Right now, waiting on plumbing to be done so our wonderful contractor can get everything BACK in our house. We are moving forward, it’s just taking time. :/
Well, I wish everything best to Tiffany and her family. Having to deal with all that must be awful for her.

WHO ARE ANY OF THESE FUCKING PEOPLE??? JESUS CHRIST.
Turns out this is the comic's introduction to Mongrels, you know the species Snout from Legacy of Dominic Deegan is part of.
Okay so we know nothing about these characters, they just come out of fucking nowhere. It would be better if Mookie took an opportunity to bring in characters from past arcs to get a chance to establish themselves, unless these guys are from the travel arc....speaking of which
Okay, I went back into the travel arc and apparently, the guy with headband is Stunt. And this world is Wild Edge, basically the part of Dominion that is filled with bizarre creatures and other monsters. Basically the whole part of that arc is an excuse from Mookie to do a stupid Steve Irwin type adventure. And also these things exist.
Tumblr media
Anyways after some shitty mating jokes with the hobgoblins, they run into the mongrel in the last page, Bort, who temporarily turns Stunt into a woman with breasts hahahaha. After that they run into the woman from this page who almost fires Stunt but then Dominic saves his ass.
Also, that page proved to me just how fucking hideous Bort is. At least Snout is a little bit more cute, Bort is a fucking abomination, he might as well be The Beast's human form.
Anyways, now that I went back to look at it, I am a bit less confused, but I am also terrified what happens next.

The surreal nature of Dominic Deegan wildlife works better in Legacy of Dominic Deegan which takes place in far future. But apparently Deegan world was always fucked up and there are just flying tentacle creatures. Did Mookie suddenly have "oh no I made my fantasy world too boring, here are some fucking bizarre creatures up the ass". This isn't original, it's trying too hard. I'm expecting Dr. Snuggles to show up any minute.

Back in a comic with much better plot twists, we get a bunch of stereotyping. Well at least this comic has progressed slightly from "haha men who wear dresses are freaks" punchlines, but this is still very mid-2000's.
If Dominic Deegan was written today, would Gregory have transistioned into a woman over the course of the comic? I don't know, we'll see if Legacy of Dominic Deegan has any trans representation.

Webcomic Check: Winter 2023
Although time runs faster than light now, it feels like I did my last webcomic check forever ago. So here it is.
Las Lindas: Miles is fighting a street shark, and oh come on now.
Tumblr media
You expect me to buy Miles being that buff??? And why does he have long hair now? Is this Chalo's late attempt at trying to turn him into a femboy. All of you are gross 30 to 40 year old men now, make your self inserts act their age. I don't want to know what is happening here but I think the Street Shark is one of the "superheroes" introduced earlier.
Spinnerette: Yeah, it's White Heron arc again, involving stuff crashing into a wall. Besides that there are some Spinnerette gift cards.
Tumblr media
First of all, why are there THREE Mr. Webbies? Second of all, Mecha Maid isn't even in the fucking suit anymore, and she is sitting. Did Kraw finally make an arc where she gets cured of her ALS. Dude, just fucking do it. This comic is already such a colossal insult, I'm not sure it would offend anyone, speaking of insults...
Monster Girl Academy: Yes, a new member joins the Webcomic Check. Issue 25 is already out on the patreon but not on e-hentai, but it involves Fatcat growing a fat cock...who the fuck is Fatcat you may ask? Well...wait until July 2024 to find out.
There's also a free sketch of a tomboy and oh fuck off.
Tumblr media
This is a bootleg copy of the Lois Lane from that new Superman show. How is she a monster? Is she a monster for being a tomboy like dickgirls are according to Kraw? Or is she a monster because she wears crocs. Other than that, she doesn't look half bad but that's probably because she is emulating an existing design that is actually good. I hope her personality isn't saying "I'm a tomboy, you saved our asses" like the Tomboy Soldier.
Carnivores: Austin goes to "Minotaur's Mansion" which is like some sort of a gym, I at least assume so because there is piece of stolen art on the wall.
Tumblr media
So I guess Austin is gonna work out, something real Austin will never do...however if this comic is still ongoing in 2043, then I've got concerns that maybe he is.
Legacy of Dominic Deegan: Okay WHAT THE FUCK??? Are you seeing what I'm seeing???
Tumblr media
Actual dialogue! Did someone restore Snout's hearing? Or did Mookie get sick of the lack of dialogue. Then again he's nowhere to be found on this page so...
Anyways these two whoevers are talking about music and discrimination against other species. The more things change the more they stay the same.
Alien Dice: Lexx is still fighting Mr. Bad Guy in winged form.
Tumblr media
I have to say outside of new panels and few changes, the art doesn't look that different from where we last left off, of course Lexx must have aged like 10 years. There might be a timeskip!
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the more visual Webcomic Check. This segment has been going on for like 6 years, yet I've never thought of putting images on this. Ah well. See you next year.

Fucking wow. Rembrandt the former Racist Knight is now standing up for Dominic. "How dare you criticise Dominic in any way shape or form can't you see he's RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING". I wish Mookie would contact me like Jon did, so I could chew him out on this bullshit.
Yeah we get it, driving a mountain is like driving a car. It would be much funnier if there was an entire clan of wizards moving mountains like cars. I would love to see what their equivalent of drunk driving or a traffic jam would be. Now I REALLY wish Mookie contacted me so I could pitch that idea for Legacy of Dominic Deegan!

We then see a random flashback with a topless woman. If this were Legacy of Dominic Deegan, we would see her nipples.
Honestly, Luna is a whole different character now that she has black hair. When she went to that dimension it's possible she got possessed by some dead orc woman...or possibly her ancestor GODDAMNIT THE GENE CATLOW COMPARISONS JUST KEEP ON COMING.
And we end on a sex joke lelelelele STORM OF SOULS

Webcomic Check: Fall 2023
Ahahahaha fucking christ it only felt like January yesterday and now it's already SEPTEMBER???? Jesus christ I miss the pandemic, at least time seemed to temporarily slow down back then. But enough existential crisis, let's go back to our stupid webcomic fiends.
Las Lindas: I'm sorry after revisiting the comic again, only now I notice how much the art has downgraded. Miles and Rachel look like they're siblings now. They both have identical musclebodies, but it's the fetishistic muscles that makes them look like starving children. It's pretty insane it took Chalo this long to draw someone look like they're starving when it's literally been an opposite problem for the last 10 years. Turns out there is a BIG STATUS QUO CHANGE and I don't give a shit, Mora has fucking gigantic ears and she just looks like a hulking abomination. She looks like a character from Monster Girl Academy now and yes, that's an insult. What happened to those "superheroes"?
Spinnerette: White Heron is beating up an alien guy and she finally has her superhero suit on. It's kind of incredible and sad how this whole arc has the BEST looking art in all of Spinnerette, and it's barely relevant. Like, we know White Heron is going to die. Oh yeah, and now Kraw is also planning to release a book FULL of Spinnerette porn through indiegogo. Was Monster Girl Academy not enough you fucking whore???
Carnivores: Austin is being eaten by shitton of predators, including a dragon and several gnoll shamans. Dude has somehow invented the vore version of a harem fanfic. Congratulations. Looks like fetish focus is back on the menu.
Legacy of Dominic Deegan: I am still baffled by the amount of actual nudity in this comic. We see some naked woman who is being dragged by black glitchy tentacles. Oh no, is The Beast back? Honestly, I really like the artstyle of this comic and there are so many pages where nothing is said, an opposite problem from Dominic Deegan, that it feels more like an artistic experience than anything. It would be very hard to riff. But don't worry, we'll return to finish the prequel to this comic soon enough.
Alien Dice: Alien Dice has officially entered the Webcomic Check Club. Lexx is fighting the Orange Guy. The art hasn't radically changed from where we left off which is surprising. However, the Orange Guy STILL looks like orange-haired Victor, also he might be part-troll.

Webcomic Check: January 2023
I thought I had done this recently, but I guess I was wrong. My sense of time is fucked.
Spinnerette: We see entirely different story? Apparently some woman lost her son named Walter in the war, to huns no less? Is this Mulan now? I guess it’ll be unrelated to rest of this chapter.
Las Lindas: Okay, the artstyle is once again better but WHY DOES MORA HAVE RIDICULOUS MUSCLES NOW? DID SHE START TAKING STEROIDS? Apparently she and Minos are a “power couple” now, and Minos looks dumb. Okay maybe the artstyle isn’t so good.
Carnivores: Austin gets eaten by a shark. There we go, this is the first webcomic check page to actually involve vore. Also there’s an eagle. Is this a commentary on America?
Legacy of Dominic Deegan: A fat demon crushes Snout under the water and there he meets some woman. At this point these comics are just surreal. But I enjoy the lack of dialogue. And the artstyle is really good.

Webcomic Check: February 2022
Boy I sure am glad nothing important is happening at the moment, let’s look at how our old friends are doing!
Spinnerette: Heather visits Espinn, who is alone because she has broken up with Birdman or something. I knew it. I mean, at least a couple established in a pr0n comic didn’t become a thing. This feels like a retread of Sarah Nicole - Heather meeting, except a lot less adorable. Espinn doesn’t want to join Spinny’s superheroine group and Spinny makes a really stupid face. Wow, Tiffany is a better artist than this.
Las Lindas: Minos lifts Miles’s plane for some reason. There are two random furries I’ve never seen before on the background. I literally have nothing to say about this for once. Chalo’s art is still better than it used to be, and there’s only one chibi face but it’s presence makes a bit of sense. Not sure about the plot though.
Carnivores: Austin Wolfclaw encounters a bull character who actually has a kind of cool design and isn’t just a typical Austin sameface character. Once again there is not a single trace of vore in this comic. Kraw wishes he had the restraint Austin had.
Legacy of Dominic Deegan: Get this! We’ve never seen this before! TWO ORCS ARE FIGHTING! GASP! THAT NEVER EVER HAPPENED IN THE MAIN COMIC! Goddamn it, are we back on the forced orc drama? Well it was fun while it lasted Mooks. At least his orcs look way better than they used to be and their faces don’t change shape when they’re angry.
