Random thought:

Sandy and Mo together are the reincarnation of Sha Wujing!

Let me show you my evidence for this:

Sandy and Mo look very much alike. Same hairstyle. Same colors. And even Mo's orange stripes on his torso look like gills.

Sandy and Mo are always together and worry for each other. (Plus I think Mo was the first therapy cat Sandy had)

Sandy seems to understand Mo. Especially evident in the last part of the Finale. (Mo meows and Sandy just seemingly translates what Mo said; "You said it, Mo.")

In Amnesia Rules, Wukong thinks Mo is Sha Wujing.

While other times, Sandy is displayed as Sha Wujing (he also looks exactly like him)

I am guessing that Tang Sanzang and Subodhi bond at some point in the art school au? It’s just I can see Subodhi and Tang exchanging embarrassing stories about Wukong behind his back, or in front of him to embarrass him.

Tang Sanzang, to get in with Subodhi, shares Qi Xiaotian's little kid pictures. He is not expecting for Subodhi to recognize a few of them and whip out some teenage Sun Wukong pictures of him doing the exact same thing.

Wukong is making tea and pretending to hear none of this.

I JUST SAW THE NEW SEASON 4 TRAILER AND IM READY TO SCREAM ABOUT IT AND ANALYZE THE FUCK OUTTA THIS FRAME BY FRAME

I’m thinking it’s either an general or an spiritual monkey(but he doesn’t look monkey)

So I’m thinking it’s one of the sworn brothers (friend suggested the Lion one)

There is the eagle and elephant guy from the box sets with DBK, more sworn bros I assume but o can’t remember there being an elephant.

It doesn’t look like they’re in the celestial realm (more like ffm) but idk what the wooden bridge things are, we see the same around Mac and Wukong when they were on ffm

(Also Wukong is fucking drunk it’s great)

We see from left to right

Elephant, probs DBK, eagle on front and either Mac or Wukong (light makes it different)

Fighting against Nezha and his two older bros with the Jade Emperor in the bg

So I’m thinking that this is during the war against heaven before Wukong his captured and put into the furnace

The kids are def going through an portal here (I think even activated by Tang going by the aura color so this might be partially his accident)

So we’re def in the past

Next few ones:

-Tang saving the kids from going smack with his new stick (that he may or may not have stolen)

-PIGSY BEING AN BADASS AND DOING MAGIC

-Sandy standing on a like of bones, as you do king

-The ink magic stuff looks rlly fucking cool

So this is rlly interesting cuz this doesn’t feel like traditional shadow magic (it doesn’t have Macs motief or smthn similar to it. It feels more like an corruption thing, or inky as friend has suggested.

Going from front to back I’m seeing someone who could be Wujing with his skulls, then a dragon, Baije isn’t rlly shown in the shot, then Trip.

And ofc, this is Wukong

au where tripitaka has a berserk cicada form because gc is a bitter piece of shit and briefly overwhelms tripitaka with power at random.

at some point, tripitaka in this form nearly, NEARLY killed someone. and if tripitaka had it, so does our tang man. tang unwillingly uses the form against macaque in s3 e8 instead of using his shield thing. he grabs the ring and with no control of his body, leaves macaque in bad shape and flies back to the others. the form dies out just while tang is in the air and he falls into pigsy’s arms because i wouldn’t change that moment if you paid me.
