Being 28 in pics
Semakin dekat dengan the big 3-0, mari embrace my final years of being in my 20s.
Haha.
Tapi tetap enak. White mushroom sauce + balsamic salad + wedges will never go wrong:
Tumblr media
Huhu. Makin tua entah kenapa attention span makin buruk dan makin susah ngeberesin baca buku :< Ini Crying at H Mart sama Quran versi translasi-nya Oxford aja gak beres-beres aku baca. Terus karena kemarin abis nonton video-nya Joram van Kleveren, aku minta minjem buku Muhammad-nya Martin Lings sama Karen Armstrong supaya bisa aku baca sekalian.
Abis itu pas nyampe lagi di rumah akhirnya aku nge-dye atasanku yang warna putih nya putih banget udah kayak baju seragam sekolah. Gak suka. Nonton video youtube aja how to dye clothes with tea leaves.
Tumblr media
Abis nulis ini mau ngecat rambut sama beresin The Nakano Thrift Shop - baru beres seperlima jadi belum tau akan seru atau ngga, tapi lumayan lah a break from Murakami’s weird (but somehow comforting) plot.
Today was perfect.

Myndin sem varð fyrir valinu var Gerge Of The Jungle.
                                                                                                                              Laugardagur 12.
Mig langar ótrúlega mikið í djúpur at the moment og get ekki hætt að hugsa um þær.

Rescuers search for survivors after Japan floods kill at least 126
KURASHIKI, Japan (Reuters) – Rescuers in western Japan dug through mud and rubble early on Tuesday, racing to find survivors after torrential rain that began last week unleashed floods and landslides that killed up to 130 people, with dozens missing.
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe canceled an overseas trip to deal with Japan’s worst flood disaster since 1982, with several million people forced from their homes.
Officials said the overall economic impact was not clear.
Rain tapered off across the western region on Monday to reveal blue skies and a scorching sun that pushed temperatures well above 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit), fuelling fears of heat-stroke in areas cut off from power or water.
“We cannot take baths, the toilet doesn’t work and our food stockpile is running low,” said Yumeko Matsui, whose home in the city of Mihara, in Hiroshima prefecture, has been without water since Saturday.
“Bottled water and bottled tea are all gone from convenience stores and other shops,” the 23-year-old nursery school worker said at an emergency water supply station.
Some 11,200 households had no electricity, power companies said on Monday, while hundreds of thousands had no water.
According to NHK public television, the death toll stood at 126 by Tuesday morning, with another six people in a state of cardiopulmonary arrest – a term Japanese authorities often use to describe those who have not been officially pronounced dead by a doctor. It said 63 were missing.
While persistent rain had ended, officials warned of sudden showers and thunderstorms as well as more landslides on steep mountainsides saturated over the weekend.
Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said Abe had canceled his trip to Belgium, France, Saudi Arabia and Egypt because of the disaster. He had been due to leave on Wednesday.
Industry operations have also been hit, with Mazda Motor Corp saying it was forced to close its head office in Hiroshima on Monday.
The automaker, which suspended operations at several plants last week, said the halt would continue at two plants until Tuesday because it could not receive components, although both units were undamaged.
Daihatsu, which suspended production on Friday at up to four plants, said it would run the second evening shift on Monday.
Electronics maker Panasonic said operations at one plant remained suspended after the first floor was flooded.
GRIM RECOVERY
Refineries and oil terminals were not affected but blockages in roads leading to one Showa Shell oil terminal in Hiroshima caused gas and diesel shortages nearby.
Shares in some companies fell but losses were modest, with Mazda even gaining as investors bet damage was limited.
“If the rainfall affects supply chains, there will be selling of the affected stocks,” said Norihiro Fujito, chief investment strategist at Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities.
“Otherwise, the impact will be limited.”

Elsewhere, people soldiered on with the grim recovery task.
The floodwaters slowly receded in Kurashiki city’s Mabi district, one of the hardest hit areas, leaving a thick coat of brown mud and cars turned over or half-submerged, as residents returned to tackle the mess.
“I’ve never experienced anything like this is my life, and I’ve lived for more than 70 years,” said Hitoko Asano, 71.
“The washing machine, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, PC – they’re all destroyed,” she said as she cleaned her two-story house.
“Clothes in the drawers were all damaged by muddy water, we won’t even bother to wash them. I can’t help wondering how much it’ll cost to repair this.”
At one landslide in Hiroshima, shattered piles of lumber marked the sites of former homes, television images showed. Other homes had been tossed upside down.
Although evacuation orders were scaled back sharply from the weekend, some 1.7 million people still face orders or advice to keep away from homes, fire and disaster officials said.
The economic impact was being assessed.
“I’m worried there could be a significant impact on production, consumption and tourism,” Toshiro Miyashita, Bank of Japan’s Fukuoka branch manager, who oversees the Kyushu region, told a news conference.
Japan monitors weather conditions and issues warnings early, but its dense population means every bit of usable land is built on in the mostly mountainous country, leaving it prone to disasters.

Low world inflation dogs central bankers, even as economies grow
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. (Reuters) – The world’s top central bankers gather in Jackson Hole, their confidence bolstered by a sustained return to economic growth that may eventually allow the European Central Bank and the Bank of Japan to follow the Federal Reserve in winding down their crisis-era policies.
Yet in one key area, none of the world’s central banks has found the answer. Inflation remains well below their two percent targets, stoking a debate about whether they are missing signals of a less than healthy economy and the need for a slower path of “rate normalization”, or that they simply don’t understand how inflation works in a globalized world.
In Japan, officials have researched behavioral causes, wondering whether businesses and families are just slower to react to economic signals than thought. European officials have blamed slow-moving union wage contracts and online shopping, while U.S. policymakers have cited a lengthy sequence of “one-offs” in pricing from oil to cellphones to prescription drugs.
In each case the response of policymakers has been the same: wait it out and talk confidently about inflation’s return, as the Fed has put it since 2013, over “the medium term”.
“Yes, our models aren’t perfect… Certainly the fact that we have had some low inflation readings is something that we take very seriously,” said Cleveland Fed President Loretta Mester.
Yet Mester is convinced the problem is not a weakening economy, but changes in how businesses set prices – a supply side issue she says leaves her comfortable pressing ahead with slow but steady interest rate increases.
Not everyone is convinced by Mester’s approach. Concerns over the significance of a recent slide in inflation have renewed questions about whether a global tightening of monetary policy can proceed, with U.S. investors betting the Fed will have to hold off on more rate changes until later next year.
Fed Chair Janet Yellen will have a chance to address the issue on Friday, as does European Central Bank President Mario Draghi, who is laying plans to scale back some of the bank’s crisis-era programs even as expected progress on inflation has receded into 2018 and 2019.
The Bank of Japan’s horizon for meeting its inflation target is around 2020.
Fed officials have not yet caved on inflation even though pricing in financial markets has shifted expectations of the next rate hike back to the middle of 2018 versus Fed forecasts of another increase this year.
“But the debate has grown more active of late and uncertainty is elevated,” TD Securities said of the outlook for inflation in a report ahead of Jackson Hole. “The risks are for a slower pace.”
WHAT TARGET?
The use of inflation targeting has been an important innovation in central banking, rooted in theories of how public expectations, central bank communication and other factors shape economic behavior. It was a recognition that how policymakers talked about inflation, and what households believed, would in part determine the outcome.
But the developed world’s alignment around a two percent target has become a headache as much as a policy guide, with central banks trying to estimate and regulate something they acknowledge they don’t fully understand.
Bank of Japan consultants have puzzled over whether people shop and save as if they fully see the future, or whether they look at the past and only slowly adapt to change. If the latter, then what central banks say is less important.
Have a globalized supply chain, globalized wage rates, and frictionless markets anchored inflation for good? If so, then Fed officials relying on tight labor markets to lift wages and prices through resource competition will be disappointed.
Failure to meet inflation targets has prompted calls for an overhaul of policy, with suggestions of a new goal linked to growth in gross domestic product, for example. Fed researchers recently conjectured that the central bank should convince the public it was shooting for 3 percent in order to get two percent. Others like San Francisco Fed President John Williams have suggested just raising the target.
For the moment, though, the current target looks likely to stick — and the global waiting game to continue.
“Look, inflation is hard to forecast,” Mester said in an interview with Reuters, noting that the most elaborate models don’t do much better than simply saying inflation will be two percent and leaving it at that.
