Katsuki cannot enjoy listening to new music if he doesn't read the lyrics during the first official listen.

He might hear a snippet of a song and if he sorta likes what he hears, he'll immediately save it (before he forgets) to listen to it later. He plans on reading the lyrics and understanding what the lyrics mean BEFORE he even thinks about saving it to a playlist.

(He won't admit this but he also just can't understand certain songs without lyrics. It's like his brain jumbles the words and they're incoherent at first)

Izuku on the other hand could care less about the lyrics at first, he prefers how the song itself makes HIM feel and how vibey it is. He might eventually learn a song's actual meaning, but for now he just likes how music makes his brain tingle.

However, he does love to hear Katsuki's thoughts about new songs he discovers. Sometimes Izuku will even get in on the meanings and share his personal feelings about the lyrics.

So I've had this idea before- of this bkdk story idea where they meet in their dreams and fall in love. That every night they can't wait to fall asleep just to see each other. They don't know they're both real people in this au, though. These two complete strangers meet once in a connected dream and don't ever seem to stop said dream, as every night they meet and form a bond.

The story would consist of a couple nights of them together (ofc their first meeting and such) and eventually the two would accidentally cross paths in their normal day-to-day lives, and be together officially. Yay!!

However- I got an angstier idea. A while ago I heard that some people choose to view dreams as alternate realities. SO (you know where this is going), instead of a happy ending, bkdk get a sad ending where they don't ever let one another go because they wanna be together but can't. Their friends constantly talk to them about finally settling down with a partner, but neither Izuku nor Katsuki want anyone else. Sigh. Star-crossed lovers.

Worm - BKDK short oneshot that I apparently wrote at 3am in July

Their laughter echoed through the empty park as their swings continued to squeal harshly.

"Hey, Kacchan?" Slowing to a stop, Izuku turned to face his still chuckling boyfriend.

"Yeah?"

"Would you still love me if I was a worm?"

Katsuki abruptly stopped his movement as his feet skid the dirt below.

"Did you seriously just fucking ask me that?"

"It's a question, just answer."

"It's a bullshit question is what it is." He began to swing once more.

Izuku scoffed, "I know we laughed about couples seriously asking the question, but I'm actually curious to know your response… legitimately."

"Izu, sweetheart, the question is stupid. How am I supposed to answer it? You're a worm, right? I'm not gonna love a worm I found on the street, it's a fucking worm." A pause.

"Unless we're talking about some quirk type shit where you can turn yourself into a worm on command. I mean. Fuck. My hands are tied there. I wouldn't leave you if I found out you could transform into a worm, I guess. Like if you randomly sprung it up on me some random fucking Tuesday, I'd probably be confused. Like how the hell did you realise this power? Were you cursed or some shit? I mean whoever did that is a real piece of work. A fucking worm? They could've done better, you know?"

Turning to finally look at Izuku again, Kats frowned, "What?"

"Pfft- nothing, Kacchan." Stifling his laughter, Izuku grabbed the swing's chains and swung.

"Nah, what the fuck? You asked the goddamn question, I gave you the answer." A slight tinge of red blushed Katsuki's cheeks as he felt embarrassment creep in. He really rambled about a hypothetical, stupid situation. "Fucking worm."

Loud laughter spewed from the freckled boy.

Yknow, some people actually ship Toga and Katsuki, but personally, I like to imagine them as siblings. Idk, it's funny to imagine their dynamic as normal siblings in a quirkless world. There has to be some sort of chaos going on every day at their home.

I don't normally think about this idea too often but I figured I'd just throw it out there

Ok, Izuku loves all of his All Might merch, BUT- he hates doing anything he considers embarrassing or weird in front of it because he feels so judged.
