Anything else is of the physical world we called forth as part of our plan for ourselves in this physical life. But remember this was pre-agreed upon by all the souls involved, before this physical experience began.

All three of today’s cards are from the “Depth” category, so.. buckle up, we’re in for a ride!

In order to fully experience the current Now, it might be useful to take a look at previously experienced Now moments, through the lens of hindsight. Your previous self experienced events the way they experienced them because they didn’t have the advantage of hindsight, they didn’t yet know what you now know. Look back on the joy and the pain, but as an outsider; you are not in that Now moment anymore. You have moved on from that old paradigm because it did not serve you anymore, so that you can now observe it in a different way. See what you now experience in that same light; know that a different version of you is looking back on it without having to be involved like you are. See if you can feel this observing other you, see if you can communicate to them, even if you don’t appear to be receiving any reply. Know that they are thanking you, and be grateful for their presence in return. It’s okay to thank yourself.

Let “future you” be the Lion, fierce and strong, but also calm and wise enough to understand that you are okay even if in this current Now you feel small, fragile, hurt, painful, abandoned. The Lion understands that the Lamb may default into a victim role, that’s all it’s ever known to work, but doesn’t actually need protecting from anything. The danger does not exist, except in the mind of a Lamb who feels they have been forced into a victim role by outside forces. And these feelings are valid! They are simply based on False Evidence Appearing Real (FEAR), which the Lion can make disappear by simply sitting with the Lamb and passing on the calm and warmth.

In fact we can look at all drama in this way; the Storms of life destroy what we have been putting off releasing. They happen when our soul has had enough of our mind’s shenanigans and addiction to drama, and just can’t take it any longer. So it seems to explode into our conscious lives, appearing highly chaotic and destructive. Remember that all destruction creates new opportunities, even and especially when we cannot see this. When we feel at a loss for what to do, that’s a Storm announcing itself, so brace yourself for some wrecking and rebuilding. Use the blueprints of the Old Paradigm as a base for new ones, create your experience anew with the knowledge and wisdom you obtained, build a new life on the foundation of the old one. Do this every day, every moment.

These are weird times, and we’ve all been coping differently. I have no idea what my life is going to look like when the world opens up again, or where I’ll be, or whom I’ll be there with. I look towards the Lion (the Me who is currently experiencing post-Lockdown life) and I feel warmth. I will be okay. And so will you, one way or another. This too shall pass. Life as we know it has ended, and that doesn’t have to be a Bad Thing. We needed to be shaken up, snapped out of whatever the heck we were doing, individually and as a species.

Compassion is yours to give away, but not only to others; use this time of isolation to learn to treat yourself like you would your best friend, your partner(s), your loved ones. If you cannot love yourself, then practice seeing yourself as a surrogate for a loved one. This will radiate from you, showing others the standard of treatment you expect to receive. For you are worth more than you know, the mind can never comprehend absolute love. The next best thing is understanding compassion, so practice this. Whether or not you “succeed” (end up loving yourself) does not change the fact that you deserve it, inherently. The practice itself is showing compassion and that’s all that matters.

The more you practice self-compassion, the less fear you will experience. In one of the “Conversations with God” books (by Neale Donald Walsch) FEAR is made into an acronym for “False Evidence Appearing Real”, and that really resonates with me. Fear is presented in the books as “the opposite of love”, to signify that where Fear is being manifested, Love is not. Fear and caution are two different things; caution keeps you alive, Fear keeps you from experiencing love.

Through self-compassion, Fear will have no fertile ground to grow on anymore. You can start to search for your true guidance, your intuition, between all the chaos that has grown in your inner garden, so you can begin shaping and landscaping your true vision for yourself. Have faith in your own ability to know what’s best for you in this moment of NOW. You got this.

As you wade through your jungle, lovingly removing that which does not fit in your vision, many emotions may arise; allow them to flow through you into the ether where they can disperse and rejoin the All That Is consciousness. This way you’ll be left only with things that add value to your life, be that survival or joy. When all you have is life and joy, that is all you will want. Some would say Heaven on Earth, some call it enlightenment, Yoga, Nirvana, Walhalla,.. call it what you will, if you remove things gently, and with love, they will be released and will no longer be able to regain a stronghold in your Garden of Eden.

Show compassion to your inner world, and everything it contains, even and especially the bits you no longer wish to carry. It’s okay to let them go, I promise.

Our cosmic self (not “selves” - we are all one) shines brightly today, that is to say its vibrations are easier felt, so that we may experience all of our greater self. This is the Self that is free of worry and judgement, for these are expressions and symptoms of Fear. Now is the time to take a step back from all the Earthly drama, to gain an overview of what is happening, as an objective observer. Kind of like how a security camera doesn’t judge what it records, it just records what its lens and sensor receive and moves on to the next image.

We can (and are invited to) also observe our inner drama; the Lion attacking and the Lamb being attacked. We are capable of healing both of these intimately interwoven energies inside of each of us, miraculous as that may sound. Again we turn to non-judgement, instead noticing and embracing when the Lamb or the Lion react to what is happening inside or outside of our human experience. “Love yourself by expressing your Truth fully, and by letting go of judgement.” (Direct quote from the Lemurian Starchild Oracle guide book). This means allowing the Lamb to be afraid or hurt without also activating the Lion for protection and defence. It also means allowing the Lion to be strong and fierce without activating the Lamb as something that needs to be protected. We can be afraid without being defensive, we can be strong without being offensive. But even when we are activating both the Lion and the Lamb, for whatever reason, love that too; it is you expressing your truth, and there can be no higher honour.

When this happens, the Lion evolves into a Dragon resting; still full of power and fire, but wise enough to know when to use it and what to use it for. Her fire is now warming, not scorching. The Lamb has evolved into a Human, still unsure at times, but trusting the Dragon for gentle guidance. Rest, now, after this wondrous achievement, prepare yourself for the next Great Work. Allow yourself now to find your joy, you have most certainly earned it - you now realise that you didn’t need to earn it at all, joy is your birthright.

All three of these cards are about letting go of judgement. Too often we perceive life as a competition, we are made to feel we ought to be better, stronger, richer, thinner, more beautiful, travelled, more successful, more fitting into our society’s expectations of gender and sexuality,.. the Old Paradigm is one of “not enough”ness. It is time for something new. Something more accepting and less.. judgey.. and this goes only for ourselves; we are not responsible for other people’s reactions to our truth! “Live by example” is the way forward; the more you try to force people in one direction or another, the more they will resist. We’ve seen this now more than ever. (That is not to say lockdown and quarantine rules should not be enforced - they most definitely should, for the safety of everyone)
