A lovely sent me this ‘gem’:
Tumblr media
Oh this is going to be fun. **evil laugh**
Just heard last night that Supernatural wouldn't be remembered or cause a real impact on pop culture like Breaking Bad or another boring show as such and then Jensen Ross Ackles decides to throw his fictional character of 15 years, the first bisexual in the history of television, a birthday party.
First, run on sentence much?
Supernatural will be remembered for being about brothers who did everything (including kill and die) for EACH OTHER.
Second, DEAN IS NOT BISEXUAL.
And even if he was (which he wasn’t) how the fuck can this heller call him the FIRST IN THE HISTORY OF TELEVISION?
Hellers know NOTHING about SPN, Castiel, Dean, OR actual representation.
In 2003, GLAAD concluded that there were have only been "a few bisexual characters on TV." The report cited Steven Carrington in the soap opera, Dynasty (1981-1989) who "had a long term love affair with Luke" but got married, had a child, and later lived with his former lover, Bart, as the first example. The same report also cited C.J. Lamb, played by Amanda Donohoe, in the NBC drama L.A. Law (1986-1994), and Nancy, played by Sandra Bernhard in Roseanne (1988-2018), as bisexual, calling the latter "probably the most recent portrayal of bisexuality."
In 2018, The Advocate pointed to five TV shows as having positive bisexual representation: The Good Wife (Kalinda Sharma), Game of Thrones (Oberyn Martell), Grey's Anatomy (Callie Torres), House of Cards (Frank Underwood), and How to Get Away with Murder (Annalise Keating).
As such, Lennon listed relatable representations of bisexuality in TV, apart from one mentioned by The Advocate in 2018: Max in Black Sails, Nico Minoru in Runaways, Clarke Griffin in The 100, Rosa Diaz in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Ilana Wexler in Broad City, Sara Lance in Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow, Magnus Bane in Shadowhunters, Lucifer Morningstar in Lucifer, and Miles Hollingsworth III in Degrassi: The Next Generation.
(x)
Almost 3 years after the show he played it in ended.
Exactly. It’s been almost three years, hellers. DEAN IS STRAIGHT.
And somebody calling themselves “dwcoded” shouldn’t be a heller, since DEAN himself has mentioned who is most important to him:

MEET…
Lennon Hollingsworth
Age: 22
Birthday: April 12th, 1995
Gender/Pronouns: Trans man/He-him
Hometown: Hartford, CT
Length of time in Salem: 1 Year
Occupation: Museum Curator
Faceclaim: Chella Man
HIS STORY
Lennon was an accident, but a happy one. His parents, an architect and a former opera singer, were older than one would imagine expecting parents to be. They’d already had one daughter, who was nine years old and the apple of their eye. When they found out they were going to have another, they were surprised, but not displeased. There was never any doubt in their mind that they could handle another child. They were a happy little family, and the new addition could only make them happier. When Lennon was born, the little baby girl was welcomed with all the warmth and affection and anything a little girl could ever want.
At first Lennon seemed the perfect child. Minimal crying, lots of smiles and giggles, and wide eyes that were almost always focused on something. Lennon liked to learn, liked to take in everything around him, always seemed ahead of his peers. Until he was about three years old, and things started to change. Lennon wouldn’t respond when spoken to, wouldn’t react to sounds, and occasionally would throw tantrums for what seemed to be no real reason. Lennon stopped using words and sentences, reverted to making small noises of disgruntlement when he wasn’t screaming.
All it took was one doctor visit to find out Lennon was quickly losing his hearing. It was genetic, a bad combination of just the right DNA. A gene neither of his parents knew that they carried, but mixed together created the perfect storm. Lennon was almost completely deaf by the time he was four years old. At five years old, just before starting school, he was fitted with his first cochlear implant. A year later, he got his second, in the opposite ear. He was initially not very into them, they were more a nuisance than anything else, but he got used to them. Admittedly, they did make life a little bit easier.
What he really wished was that everyone else would learn sign language. He soaked up ASL like a sponge, eager to learn, eager to communicate in a way that was much more comfortable for him. Anytime someone spoke to him with their hands, he cheered up. He became more outgoing and friendly, less shy and reserved. He was grateful for his parents and his sister, who learned with him and were usually good about using it when speaking with him.
There were still plenty of challenges to overcome, and Lennon’s parents did everything they could to make sure he never fell behind. They really hadn’t needed to worry, all the money they poured into private schools and one-on-one tutors only succeeded in pushing him ahead of his peers by a few years. The very first private school Lennon attended, until he was nine years old, had a very strict uniform policy. Boys wore slacks, girls wore skirts. Lennon woke up every morning and fought his parents on putting on his skirt. He demanded the slacks, and every morning he was shut down. He did everything he could to fight the policy, including wearing slacks underneath his skirt and eventually settling for leggings, which seemed to be the only thing his principal didn’t write him up for. But as time went on, and Lennon became more and more sure that he didn’t belong in a skirt, his cries became louder.
He passed out petitions, he led protests, he fought and fought and fought. Until one day he was suspended for a week, and his parents chewed him out from the time he got home until the time he went to bed. Early the next morning he declared to his parents that he was a boy, and he would be treated as such. He told them they needed to find him a new school, because this one would never accept him as a boy. His parents told him it was a phase, and he needed to take the week to really reflect on his choices, yada yada yada. They found him a therapist, someone to help him work through his ‘issues’. The therapist called him a ‘tomboy’ and played games with him while trying to get him to open up.
Lennon didn’t open up with his therapist. He did, however, open up his own wrists with the sharpest kitchen knife he could find. He didn’t really know what he was doing, and thankfully he was found and stitched up quickly, but his parents were forced to open their eyes and see their daughter as their son. Or they were forced to ‘play along’, as they saw it. Lennon didn’t really care, as long as they weren’t forcing him to keep his hair long and wear skirts anymore. He started at a new school two weeks later, one with a more lenient uniform where he could wear pants. He was registered as a female still, but one of his middle school English teachers acknowledged him as a boy in her class, and it changed his life. For the first time ever, he felt seen and accepted, and knowing what that felt like made him feel as if he could keep going, holding on and waiting for a future where he got to choose the people that surrounded him. People just like his English teacher.
Lennon graduated from high school at barely sixteen years old. All the private schooling and independent tutors served him well, and he went off to college at the young age. Around this time he also decided to get top surgery, which did not sit well with his parents. They could handle the binder, the short hair cuts, and even Lennon calling himself a boy; but when it came to having something surgically removed from his body, they repeatedly asked him why he wanted to “mutilate” his body. They’d pushed back about the hormone therapy too, so he’d expected some struggle, but he hadn’t expected the fight they put up. After a lot of messy fights, Lennon left home. He moved in with his sister, who had always been supportive of him, and told his parents they could go fly a kite, so to speak. He got emancipated, then got his top surgery and kept up with his hormone therapy while working 40 hours a week at a used book store and going to college.
It took him only one semester to decide what he wanted to study: anthropology. Something about other cultures really spoke to him, and as soon as he graduated he went back to get his master’s. While working on that, he did some intern work for a local museum, which he also fell in love with. It was also somewhere between starting college and getting his master’s that his sister had a baby, a beautiful little girl who Lennon was immediately obsessed with. His obsession only grew when they discovered Winnie was deaf; not that it really mattered, but he did get a little excited to know he wouldn’t be the only one with a hearing impairment at the next family gathering. He was there for every bit of it, for helping her learn to function as a deaf child and for helping everyone around her master their sign language (though Serena was already nearly perfect, thanks to having learned for Lennon as a child).
When Serena and her family moved to Salem, Lennon didn’t hesitate to pack up and move with them. By then he was spending his summers immersed in other cultures on several continents and it was easy to get a job as a curator at The House of the Seven Gables. He loves Salem, loves the dark history there, and will tell you absolutely anything you want to know about the history of the town. He may have moved there for Serena and the family, but he really feels as if this is the place he was always meant to find.

Who: @hollingsworthlennon
Where: Serena & Gwen’s home
When: December 26th
Tumblr media
With her back turned Serena had not even heard Lennon come down from upstairs. Christmas had been a great success. Serena had been planning for months to have Gwen's brother out for the holiday. They had been doing it behind not only Gwen’s back but also their mother. There had to be a little bit of shuffling around the house so everyone fit, but Serena loved having them all near at such a special time of year. Winnie was still at Jamie’s and due back early afternoon, so Serena was up making breakfast for everyone. She turned her head as she heard the small creek in the wood floor from the entrance way. “Morning. “ She greeted openly as she watch a sleepy Lennon come from around the corner. “ I’m making breakfast for everyone. Coffee is already made in the pot. “ She made sure he was able to see her lips as she spoke knowing he wasn’t always wearing his implants first thing.

So which one do you think will take Jenna's v-card? Troy, Duane, or Hollingsworth?
More than likely it’ll be Troy or Duane - who I didn’t know already moved on from Lennon but good for him! Hollingsworth will be her second.

Winnie and Serena were on a very large Christmas kick that day. Serena had been dragging stuff out of the attic for days now. She knew normally, that would be saved for the day after Thanksgiving, but she was just in the spirit. Winnie on her shoulders now, She let the little girl place their white star on top of the tree. This was something that they always did last, but the four year old insisised that it had to be the first thing up. Winnie was in a very giggly mood that day. Every little tickle Serena gave her filled the house with her sweet laugh. There was no one Serena loved more than their daughter. Seeing her laugh and smile melted her heart. Serena heard the door from the garage open as she placed Winnie back on the ground. Scooby, their one hundred and sixty pound great dane running to the door  to check out who was there. His body as he passed Winnie to beat her to the door knocked her down causing the little girl to burst into laughter again. “ Hey. We are in here setting up the tree. “ Serena said knowing it had to be Lennon as her wife wasn’t due home until the following night.  - @hollingsworthlennon

Looking into our crystal ball, here’s what we see happening for our Random Pairings during this event:
These pairings were picked randomly, but were inspired by characters we haven’t seen interacting on the dash yet. Please message each other to plot out as much as you need to before starting, and get creative with it! The scenarios are meant to be fun jumping off points; they’re fairly open-ended, so feel free to make your own spin on them - or come up with something different if you’d rather. Just let us know so we can offer the plot up to someone else if it’s needed.
Deacon Carlisle and Paige King
Maybe it's curiosity or maybe you’re going out deliberately looking for trouble, but either way, you find it when the two of you end up locked in a storage closet or basement somewhere. Reception has always been spotty here - are you getting a signal?
Kaya Masondo and Alexandra Wilson
You’re at the bar when the bartender gets an urgent call. There’s no one else around, so he asks if you can cover for him real quick. Only, it’s been half an hour, and there’s still no sign of him. That’s what you get when you hire amateurs and don’t pay them...
Jamie Kingsley and Frannie Corwin
A drunken stranger has fallen into your laps (maybe literally!). Neither of you are sure you’ve ever met this person in your life, but they’re like a child the universe has tasked you with taking care of. At least you’ve got a co-parent! It’s up to the two of you to make sure this inebriated fellow gets home safe and sound.
Georgie Wallace and Riley Montoya
You’re pretty sure this is the door to the bathroom... You can hear someone puttering inside and every time you knock, they say they’ll be right out. The two of you might be waiting an awful long time - Have you heard of a man called Godot?
Kacie Kingsley and Ale Rossi
(injury tw) Who knew that spooky, dark lighting was also dangerous? It’s just a scratch, or a twisted ankle, but one of you didn’t come out of the scare-zone unscathed. Who knows first aid?
Sunil Kumar and Myra Malik
Most of the items up for silent auction are lame, but there’s one prize you are determined to take home with you. Only problem is, someone else feels the exact same way. It’s time for all-out silent war!
Lennon Hollingsworth and Jude Wilson
They said ‘scary,’ but you didn’t think it would be quite this scary... One of the decorations plays right into one of your greatest fears. Good thing there’s someone there to help you out.
Sophie Thompson and Eva Giatti
Yes, the music is loud and it’s crowded in here, but that doesn’t mean people can’t see or hear you. Someone didn’t get the memo, and now the two of you are privy to a stranger’s juicy secret (could be criminal activity, cheating, etc.).
Taylor Evans and Breanne Samaya
You don’t have a target on your back, but you wouldn’t know it from the way one of the scare-actors has singled the two of you out. There’s a fine line between being committed and going overboard...
Isla Baker and Park Hyunmin
Sorry, I thought you were someone else... Your friend was supposed to dress up in the exact same costume, so as soon as you see it, you strike up a conversation like it’s old times. Only, oops! Turns out the costume is more common than you thought. Why didn’t you stop me sooner?
Lachlan Peters and Verona Warren
Some people take their costumes waaay too seriously... There’s someone dressed up as cupid who is going around pretending to play matchmaker. It’s funny enough to watch other people stumble through awkward, forced meet-cutes, but then his arrow lands on you. Valentine’s not until February, you asshole...
Vanessa Rodrigues and Fei Davenport
It was not on the schedule, but the DJ’s decided it’s time for impromptu karaoke. Maybe you feel sorry for the guy (he’s trying) or maybe you’re dared to do it, but singing in public is always easier with a partner, right?

THEIR STORY

Being the firstborn had always but that pressure to be the perfect child. The daughter of an Architect and her mother an opera singer. From a young age, Serena was always doing something. Ballet, piano lesson, and violin. There was never really a moment where she was really a kid. Her focus was to be on school and her activities. Her parents were always busy with work and she was often left with maids and nannies. Some were more strict like her parents, some were slightly laxer and would let her try to have some fun. Yet, that never stopped Serena from causing some sort of trouble. As much as she was a good child, she loved to also have fun, especially when her parents were not around. Her whole world changed at the age of nine when her little sister was born. Serena was head over heels in love with her little sister and would do anything for her. She could not wait until she was older and had someone to play with. Being an only though it was nice to always be the center of attention, she was excited at having a sister. The two grew up to be thick as thieves. Though there was a huge age gap between them, they always had fun growing up.  At the age of three, Lennon became very ill, eventually losing her hearing. This really changed her family suddenly they had to change how they communicated with Lennon. Serena was eager to learn sign language for her sister, where her parents instant just wanted to pay to fix it. Serena just wanted to do what was easiest for her sister. Jamie met Jamie Kingsly as a teenager. The two became instant friends as they both hated being dragged to the social events their parents were a part of. Though they did not live close to one another, they kept in touch over the years and through college.
As Serena grew older she always felt the pressure to get good grades, to go to college to be a doctor or a lawyer. Serena found love in teaching. Learning American Sign language as a teen really pushed her to want to help others. Even graduating high school with honors and getting into Harvard, she still chose to go with her dream rather than what her parents wanted. Her parents refused to pay for the education she wanted, which just pushed her hard. Serena worked while in school to help pay for it. Knowing it was not cheap. Serena was beyond excited to start college though she did miss her family. She was finally able to be free of her parent’s tight grasp. In college is where she met her who she would marry. The two eventually moved in together as Serena finished college. Serena instantly got a job at an elementary school to work with children who were like her sister. She loved her job and did not even care what disappointment it made her parents feel.
Years go by. Serena marries the love of her life, her wife. Her parents were not happy that Serena was going to marry a woman. They were always very traditional and wanted her like themselves to marry a rich man who had a great job. This really put a riff between Serena and her parents. Serena was an adult, and she was happy. She would put her new family ahead of anyone. The couple was so happy over the years. She was a firefighter, while Serena was a teacher. The couple were ready to start a family and took in many ways to have this happen. After speaking to Jamie, he offered to be the father of their daughter. The two had always been good friends and the couple was so grateful for him offering to help them with starting their family. Winry Rose Hollingsworth was born and looked healthy. Only to find out that she was deaf like Serena’s brother. Her whole pregnancy Serena was told her daughter was perfect. It was a shock to know that her daughter was deaf, but Serena loved her and would always love her as if she was like any other child. Serena loves her daughter more than anything and would do anything for the little girl. The parents had always included Jamie in decisions with the little girl. Over the years the large city became too much, and being far from the little girl’s father became tougher. The happily married couple decided to move to Salem to be closer to Jamie and well to raise their daughter in a smaller town. They have been in Salem now for about a year. Serena still is teaching with kids who need special educational help like her daughter.

Koffee Kreations, picture this: Hollingsworth and Kearney in a booth together. Can't keep up... Isn't he Jenna's boy toy and her, isn't she with Troy or Duane?
I still don’t know nearly enough about the newest cutie on the scene. As for him being Jenna’s boy toy - isn’t that any boy who she glances at? Same for Lennon, really. We all know that girl flirts too much. Difference between Jenna and Lennon? Jenna teases and Lennon pleases.
