So I officially received my offer letter and signed it and returned it. I start my new job Monday May 2nd.

I told my manager yesterday in our weekly one on one meeting. I have to send him my resignation letter/ two week notice letter today.

I'm so nervous about this and excited too.

I do like my current job, I like helping people (I sometimes don't like talking to all the people I have to talk to tho). So I'll miss many aspects and also working from home for almost two years.

New job will be in the office, Monday- Friday 8am - 5pm. The office is currently in downtown Portland, but it's expected to move out of downtown soon.

So I'm going to have a bit of a commute. I'll be waking up earlier. Getting home later.

Idk how this will impact my going to the gym either.

Butttt it's a really great job. A great team I get to work with. I get to keep all my current benefits (they roll over with me).

I like how when you are getting ready to go to a new place and change your tinder to that location you are flooded with 100s of interested people.

My #1 post of 2022

This morning was rough. I felt horrible...but I'm only here in SF for limited time SOOOO I showered ,got dressed and got some coffee at Starbucks and went out and explored.

Went to Golden Gate Park and it was better then I had imagined. I spent over 6 hours there and didn't really see nearly enough.
