O "number cake" cualquiera de las 2 opciones siguen estando vigente, fueron unas tortas que se hicieron famosas hace algunos años atras, aprox. 4 o casi 5 años, pero que hasta la fecha aún siguen siendo una opción favorita para homenajear a alguien o celebrar algún aniversario (para lo cual utilizan las numbers cakes principalmente). Según estuve leyendo una de las creadoras ha sido una pastelera israelí (que por cierto hace bellezas y cada postre uuufff 🤤🤤🤤), y originalmente se hacían con galletas, la masa puede ser de vainilla, algunos prefieren de especias o también de chocolate. Posteriormente, se fue adaptando y realizando con masa para tortas, para lo cual puedes usar un molde de letras para hornear o simplemente con cortadores o plantillas puedes darle la forma. En cuanto al relleno, las galletas normalmente la prefieren con buttercream, o creamcheese frosting, otros prefieren manjar, fudge, merengue, crema de queso mascarpone, en fin, lo que el comensal o el homenajeado prefiera. ¿Y las decoraciones superiores? ¡Lo que la imaginación nos dé!, opciones muchísimas, desde macarons, merenguitos, chocolates y si quieres una combinación de dulce más acidito, las frutas preferidas son los frutos del bosque, como en este caso, donde los combinamos con manjar y pecanas caramelizadas, que le han dado el toque crocante a esta"letter cake".
