登月小艇的駕駛威廉·安德斯使用特別改造的哈蘇相機，拍下三分之二個地球高掛在夜空中。他照片中的地球色澤飽滿美麗，有羽毛狀的雲量、打旋的風暴系統、蔚藍的海水和紅褐色的大陸。安德斯少將事後回憶：

「我想真正讓每個人的心好像揪起來一樣的，就是『地出』……當時我們就回望著自己的星球，回望著我們進化的地方。相較於粗糙至極、凹凸不平、破敗，甚至於無趣的月球表面，我們的地球多采多姿、美麗又細緻。我想每個人都驚覺到我們越過二十四萬哩路來看月球，但其實值得看的是地球。」

當時，安德斯的照片既美麗又令人惶惶不安，至今依然如此。從遠方看著自己，主體瞬間變為客體，讓我們的心理遭受打擊。但首先將兩者結合在一起的卻是頭髮火紅的納達爾——即使只是從幾百公尺高處，即使只是黑白照片，即使只是幾張巴黎街景照。

When I'm in my manison

With my gorgeous wife and 2 dogs & kitty. Sipping on a fine Red wine. I'll think back about my childhood to teenage years and have a chuckle. All the people I've ever met and try to associate my time with is a joke. I have yet to seen anyone on my level except the woman I am married too. I guess I won't be hiring them for my company. Who wants an jealous, unloyal person working for them? I'm so glad over the years I have done so much research and figure out that sometimes staying to yourself and being positive is key. I've done better and am stronger in my life with less people. So, when I'm in my beautiful home... Thinking about my life and reminisce over the past 20 years. When I get to this part in life and remember.. I'll laugh my ass off and toast to the haters
