History classes as I had them:

Primary school: "Here's the cliffnotes, it gets more complicated."

High school: "History is really complicated, so here is a somewhat simpler version, dates are there so you know where we are."

Gonna add one here that's a collection of autobiographical shorts - At 30, I Realized I Had No Gender by Shou Arai, who is an intersex transgender mangaka As an enby in my 30s, I found a lot of the stuff around ageing as someone outside of the rigid gender binary to be really relatable, and also like... really comforting? He's written other manga but afaik this is the only one that's been translated - I read it on LibraryPass app but I've put it on my list to get a physical copy of eventually, too.
