I'm not great at writing like theories and shit and I'm not sure if this has already been said, but I have something to say about how Aziraphale dresses.

Notice how he has warmer tones in his outfit, like they're earthy. There's browns, there's beige, there's like a light blue for his shirt.

I think it's to separate him visually from the rest of heaven. He and Crowley were talking about being shades of gray instead of black or white or good and evil, and Aziraphales outfit sort of shows that. Like, he's not literally dressing in grey, but he's got his hints of color and earthy tones. Almost like it's representing that he's more down to earth, that he's more connected to humanity than his fellow angels.

Look at the other angels.

You don't see a lot of color, everything is very uniform, very business. The angels are very "lawful good" and there isn't room for anything but their ideals and it kind of shows in how they dress.

And then there's Aziraphale, the angel who "went native", who "taints" his vessel with human delicacies, and who has little pops of color in his outfit. It shows he's different from the angels, he shares more human ideals.

I don't know lol I'm bad at theories I just think about how he dresses compared to, say, Michael. If this has been done before mb :/

I guess art is going on tumblr instead of on blogspot today lolll cause I’m lazy. half the high school au crowd goes to see a movie. that is all. (If I successfully did this then there will be a read more bc I put the fic here and it got long)

anyways this is for chatfic I am deciding whether to post to ao3 or not, I wrote the fic last year and it’s part of the hsau’s summer between Mensah and mb’s senior year of high school and going to college. The relevant bit of the fic itself is as follows:

It was always when things were fine, when life took a turn. 

Kristoph Gavin fell asleep at his desk; that was all. Everyone else in the office had went home, including his persistent assistant he had to push out the door. Kristoph was just going to get some work done. 

When he was greeted through morning sunlight, it was not through the blinds of his office—no, he was somewhere else entirely. Thin curtains weakly blocked the light that shone through proudly, filling the bedroom. 

It was once he woke his eyes, hardly having time to assess where he was, that the wooden door to his room swung open. 

“Oh, Kristoph!!” A man, maybe 26 years old, stood in the doorway way, grinning mischievously. How does he know his name?

All of a sudden, Kristoph wanted nothing more than to punch him. 

Behind the man, a mint-haired noble, maybe, stood and watched, composed and stoic. He had a sword on his waist in a holster and a navy-blue overcoat, with a white cravat. (A literal, old fashioned cravat, mind you—not the jabot Edgeworth wears.)

The mischievous man entered the room, needing little acknowledgment, and headed to a desk across the room. He laid out what seemed to be blueprints, chuckling to himself. He ran a fair-toned hand through his brown hair that was swept to the right. 

“Well, come on! Up, up to work!” The brown haired man was pushy, apparently. 

(ooc: mb for the late ask!!! I’m home alone and all, so I had stuff to do)

"What?"

Was the first thing Kristoph managed to choke out.

His first thought was the most logical; this was all a silly dream. Though, that explanation quickly proved to be incorrect as he noticed a few things he did not usually see in his dreamscape; very detailed faces and bodies, and a detailed environment. Not to mention, the situations his mind conjured up were rarely logical and seemed more symbolic than anything else.

Was this... not a dream?

Kristoph confirmed the reality of the situation in a few ways. Feeling his platinum blond hair, lightly smacking his own face, pinching his arm, squeezing his eyes shut and attempting to wake himself from this... this... hallucination. Was it a hallucination? Surely it was. Though, he wasn't sure if he would prefer this to be something his unwell mind conjured up or a different world he ended up in. Knowing Kristoph and his tendencies to ignore his mental health, it was probably the latter.

After the weight of the situation kicked in, he almost screamed, in all honesty. Most people would have had a breakdown, but he did the next best thing; have a breakdown internally! He almost wanted to call for anyone he knew- Klavier, and fuck, even that damned Wright perhaps- but what good would that do? He'd look like a maniac. So, the blond ignored how he looked like a sweating corpse and tried his best to smile. It came off as disingenuous.

"...Right."

He could only manage one-word responses for now, or else he'd either break down in tears or pass out. He blinked far too much than a normal person should and slowly stood up, eyes darting around the room and especially toward the two people he did not recognize.

starting with appearances, im female, about average height, very straight light brown hair with some natural blonde/ish streaks, pale skin, green-grey-blue eyes, large-ish nose (not massive), slight acne. my clothing style is very much basic.

my personality is hard to describe, im a yapper if i feel comfortable around you, silent if i dont, probably think about other people’s opinions on me too much, people pleaser, loud, excitable, hyper but also tired 24/7, social battery runs out faster/slower depending on the day, i try to be funny, more/less nervous meeting new people based off of their personality, i obsess over things rlly easily and a lot, love physical touch but im scared to initiate it with most people, i hate school but get good grades, nervous to say things +unintentionally clingy in friendships cus i think yall will hate me :)

also I think a lot of that stuff is just internal so it’s not really noticeable in my personality..

my interests include singing, acting, songwriting, writing, screenwriting, cute clothes and stuff like that, and things I love doing are hanging with friends, shopping, being on my phone, having personal space, staying up late & sleeping in.

Explanation: I think that soda pop would be really fond of you. Just from the looks of you you don’t stand out that much but what really made him click with you was whenever he actually started talking to you and you would go by the gas station to get snacks and you guys would just have a little chats and it could get really deep very quickly and I think that’s one of the things he loves about you, he feels like he can open up too faster than almost anyone else because you guys share so many similar problems and tendencies. Honestly, honestly, I can see you guys just like even after the store closes just freaking chatting away and not stopping talking because I think you guys would really excite each other in a new way and I think you would have endless topics to talk about and with your guises kind of hyper personalities, I bet that you would never ever be bored with each other and I feel like he’s the type of guy to find new and exciting fun things to do on each date anyway. You guys are both people pleasers so you would have a really hard time sometimes with opinions on things because you both just want the other one to like each each other but once you sort of more comfortable with each other, I feel like you guys could get into the zone like teasing each other about disagreements and things like that. You would also have a pretty easy time, expressing your feelings to each other. I feel like soda pop would be and feel safe to tell you if he didn’t like something you said and obviously I think you would feel vice versa. You guys kind of both get teased for being basic but you know what you don’t really care what any other people think about that because they don’t understand that you both enjoy the simpler and finer things in life.
