Unveiling AOC’s Epic 44.5-inch Curved OLED Gaming Monitor!

AOC’s 44.5-inch Curved OLED Monitor

A magnificent new 44.5-inch OLED gaming display from AOC is currently being prepared for release. Earlier today, the website Display Specifications got a first peek at the AOC Agon AG456UCZD and its specifications, which include notable features such as a refresh rate of 240 Hz, a wide color gamut, an immersive 800R curve, and a reaction time of 0.03 milliseconds, in addition to the typical OLED awesomeness.

It is unusual to see a monitor of this size and width that also has such a sharp curvature as this one does. The AOC Agon AG456UCZD has a diagonal of 44.5 inches, and if you sit somewhat close to it, like you would if you were using a desktop PC at a desk with a chair, its 800R curvature will comfortably fill your field of view. According to the source, the Agon’s rear may emit ambient lighting thanks to a LightFX module that supports “up to 100,000 colors and 14 light shows.” You’ll be able to enjoy this function to the most if you take a seat further back in the vehicle and take some time to relax.

There are lots more treats in store if what they have heard up to this point piques their interest.OLED screens have 10 bits of color depth, 98.5% of the DCI-P3 gamut, and a Delta E of 2. That will not be all though; we anticipate a full complement of Agon gaming features to be included into this monitor as well, including FreeSync Premium, minimal input lag, motion blur reduction, shadow control, hardware crosshair, frame counter, gaming genre presets, and configuration / customization via AOC’s G-Menu.

It’s Not the Pixel Density That’s Impressive

It’s possible that the new monitor from AOC has a higher pixel density than other monitors. It only offers a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels across its enormous 44.5-inch display. Should our estimations prove to be accurate, that translates to 83.80 points per inch. In comparison, the average pixel density of a 27-inch full high-definition display is 81.59 pixels per inch (PPI).

The fact that this monitor shares so many of its specifications with the LG UltraGear 45GR95QE and the Acer Predator X45 OLED leads us to believe that it employs the same panel as those two displays.

Ample Opportunity for Connectivity

If you look past the display screen, the AOC Agon AG456UCZD appears to have good supporting specifications. This model is equipped with a KVM Switch (for users who operate several systems), and it has a feature that maintains a constant level of brightness. Those who are constantly switching between tasks can take use of the Picture-in-Picture (PiP) and Picture-by-Picture (PiP) modes.

You won’t be caught off guard by the number of connecting possibilities offered by this display because it comes with a KVM. Two HDMI 2.0 connectors, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, a USB Type-C port that supports 90W power delivery and DP-Alt, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A connections, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-B port, and a headphone jack are all available to users of the device. Regarding the realm of audio, this Agon comes equipped with in-built dual 8W speakers.

A completely adjustable stand comes standard on the Agon AG456UCZD, which was manufactured by AOC. It allows modifications to be made to three factors, including a swivel angle of +/-15 degrees, a tilt angle of -5 to 15 degrees, and a height adjustment of up to 100 mm. Be assured that the AG456UCZD can be adapted to a 100 x 100 VESA mount of your choosing in the event that you decide you don’t like it.

When this article was written, we did not have any information on the availability of the new Agon AG456UCZD or the price of it. In the near future, AOC need to disseminate an official news release regarding this gaming monitor. Similar to the price of the Acer that was on sale a few weeks ago, an acceptable price would be around the mark of $1,600. There is currently not an official product page for the Agon AG456UCZD accessible on the AOC website.
