HI!!! Can I request some A-class heroes? They need and deserve lots of love <3

Separately, Stinger, Lightning Max, Lightning Genji, and One Shotter (headcanons) with an S/O who’s often very cold, and ends up clinging onto them? Like, kinda hugging them from behind? If height matters, taller/around the same height as the tall ones would be fun, lol!

I hope you enjoy writing this one!!! I totally understand if you can’t really write these guys, feel free to swap them out instead if you can’t!!!

a/n; hello! Coming from someone who constantly has cold hands and feet, this was super cute and fun to write. Personally, I hardly know anything about these guys and only found crumbs of content of them, so I ended up kinda balling their personalities a little, sorry abt that 😢

STINGER

Stinger is the kind of person who matches someone’s energy with these types of things.

What I mean by that,, for instance if you’re someone who’s big on gift giving and gift him a lot of things, he’ll start sharing the sentiment just as much, if not even more.

It's more of an automatic response on his part

That being said, he LOVES your clinginess, and its gladly reciprocated.

Every time he hears you complain about how cold you are, he just automatically gravitates toward you so you can cling onto him, or he’ll beckon you into his embrace with his arms stretched out.

He always makes sure to wear warm jackets when you guys are together so he can hand it to you if you get cold.

He’s always expecting (anticipating) your back-hugs, and if a whole day goes by without you clinging onto him somehow(or perhaps he was busy that whole day and you both hardly spent time together), he’ll feel wrong.

Then he'll become the clingy one that night to make up for it.

LIGHTNING MAX

He too loves how clingy you are,

I can see him being into physical affection

He doesn't mind when you cling onto him spontaneously (if anything, it kinda makes him giddy). Unless he's lying down or doing nothing significant, he'll simply continue on with whatever he was busy with while you hold onto him.

He ALWAYS has a fuzzy blanket on standby in case you come to stick to him for warmth. When you do, he'll wordlessly and swiftly secure it around you (then envelopes you in a bear hug with a big ass grin cause he still loves being your personal heater)

If he feels like he's warm enough (if that makes sense) he'll sneak up on you and latch onto you in the pretense of 'cooling himself off'

ONE-SHOTTER

He's definitely not complaining.

He is concerned, though. Why are you cold all the time?? Maybe he should take you to a doctor?

Keeps extra gloves on him at all times, indoors and outdoors, lest your hands ever get cold.

He naturally and silently accommodates your clinginess. If you cling to his arm while walking, he'll slow his pace. If you curl up against him while he's sitting, he'll shift to ensure your comfort. So on and so forth.

He buys you a lottt of body-warming stuff. Heat packets, heavy blankets, socks, gloves, sweaters, etc.

LIGHTNING GENJI

the first few times you cling to him he’s a little, um, concerned? Confused? He’ll ask if you’re ok and when you explain your almost trivial predicament he kinda just accepts his fate, doesn’t ask or comment much.

it might seem like he isn’t big on the clinging but every-time you latch onto him, he feels like he’s one icy touch away from melting.

Most of the time when you cling on to him (in any way) he’ll drop whatever he’s doing so he can fully face you to wrap his arms around you in a tight hug, trying to get as much of his surface area on you.

Throws his sweaters and jackets at you like he’s got unlimited clothes.

Makes you a lot of hot soup and teas randomly, also makes sure you’ve eaten something every now and again so the cold isn’t as bad.

My favourite and least favourite OPM hairstyles

Least Favourite

Garou’s hair is ugly af it makes him look like an evil rabbit and it looks really knotted too, if you tried to brush it out the brush would break. I hope his hair is naturally styled like that because I refuse to believe Garou would purposely style his hair that way every morning before he goes hero hunting. Idk how anyone could take him seriously with hair like that.

I wonder how many jars of hair gel Lightning Max goes through a month when he styles his hair, it looks like a stiff dollop of cream on his head. Idk why but the hairstyle, plus the fact he’s blond and blue eyed makes me think of Tweety Bird whenever I see him. Garou’s hair is ugly, but Lightning Max’s hair is plain silly.

Tbh with Puri Puri Prisoner’s hair everyone I’ve met with this hairstyle I’ve hated. His hair reminds me of the annoying people at school who’d bully you and disrupt the class and that alone makes him worthy of being placed in this category.

Favourite Hairstyles

Tatsumaki’s hair is so pretty I love how it curls at the end and how it floats and bounces around her, especially when she uses her powers. To me her hair makes her look really classy, I really liked the look of her hair when she was first introduced.

Let’s not act surprised Flashy Flash is the King of Keratin and could probably be the face of Tresemme if he so wished. Here Murata really went out of his way to draw his hair as shiny and slick as possible even when he’s executing a double kill. Even when Flash’s hair is messy and gets in his face I still like it because I think it makes him look prettier.

You could argue that Okamaitachi and Garou have the same hairstyle and it’s unfair that I put his hairstyle in my least favourite category and Kama’s in my favourite. But the thing is Kama’s hair is actually nice. I like the slickness of curvature of hair, it actually looks like she takes care of her hair unlike Garou. I also appreciate the bangs clipped to the side and the loose stands at the front. Her hair is cute and eccentric, Garou’s hair only ticks one of those boxes.

Drive Knight’s hair is underwhelming when you first meet him, it makes him look like a weak, nerdy robot who gets zero robot bitches. But when you see him fighting with Nyan?? It’s like his hair had a glow up and now he gets all the robot ass he wants. It’s longer, more fluffy and luscious and makes him look more scary. I wonder if it’s real hair.

Bomb’s hair is bomb. That’s all I have to say.

STINGER

Worried sick

He’s the type of guy to pay close attention to his loved one’s health, and you are naturally no exception.

When he picks up on your exhaustion, or signs that you might be sick like coughing, sweating, depleted profile,,,

He’s all over you, asking if you’re okay, if you need anything, maybe you should rest— He’ll get that for you! He should take you to the doctor—

Your stubbornness doesn’t do much on him, he can be just as stubborn and insistent, so it’s pointless tryna act tough.

Will get you some herbal tea passed down his lineage,

He tries to keep a close eye on you and make sure you’re staying hydrated/warm/well-rested, but of course, he’s not a free man, so he does his best to keep in touch with you when he’s out, specifically by calling.

He coddles you (extra) even if you try pretending that you’re fine.

LIGHTNING MAX

Stubbornness? Yeah, he’s not tolerating that

very quick to pick up on any change in behavior, so he can tell if you’re sick/exhausted as soon as you are.

Will insist on you taking ample amount of rest, will even tie you down to the bed if he needs to.

Buys you tons of food and snacks.

May or may not call in sick on your behalf for your job.

Yeah yeah, he shouldn't do that, bla bla bla, but you'll thank him later.

Forces you to drink a cup of water with honey three times a day,

And if you’re extremely sick, he’ll drag you to the doctor, no questions asked.

ONE-SHOTTER

Not the type to be really insistent or pushy, but will constantly press the issue that you need to rest!

Checks up on you more often and if you’re not resting or you’re doing something you’re not supposed to be doing in your state, he’ll let out a big sigh and say:

“______, please go rest.”

It’s really simple but the look of defeat+sternness he gives you is a bit coaxing,,,

If there are chores that need to be done and you’re still too stubborn to lay down and rest,

he’ll quickly do them before you realize so you don’t force yourself to do it.

LIGHTNING GENJI

Doesn't play about these kinds of things

I feel like he’d genuinely get mad at you if you try to be careless about your health and gives you a very long lecture.

Will scold you if he catches you doing any chores/work.

Makes you soup and hot drinks,

The type to really know how to take of a sick person,

You could probably wake up and find yourself wrapped in a blanket burrito with a wet cloth on your forehead,

He’s sitting beside you with a steaming bowl in his lap and an innocent smile telling you your soup is ready.

Not gonna lie, I'm terrified for Lighting Max. The dude loses his legs and the possibly being force to retire his life work as a hero. Heck I'm pretty sure that Neo Heroes are going to take advantage about the situation and make the Heroes Association reputation so much worse about it 😞

I'm worried for him too. At the very least, it is going to be a hard road to any kind of recovery, never mind working again as a hero. He could fall into the tender mercies of the Neo Heroes and their 'Recovery' rooms. With him in Neo Mumen's grasp, it's hard to see how he won't be taken to them. Somebody help him, please.

The Neo Heroes really have the Hero Association over a barrel, don't they? The world needs a miracle.
