hm so i started watching htgawm and so much DRAMA why.. maybe i don't understand the point of the show yet bc i'm still in season 1 but i'm already becoming disinterested bc so much drama and not for any valid plot reasons imo i wouldve stopped watching but i just am CRAVING a crime show and this one is kinda diverse (still racism in there and homophobia but at least theres poc and gay characters at all yknow) there's a lot of capitalism and neurotypical as the default messaging that i don't like

#lol we be asking for the bare minimum with diversity and can't even get it #not surprised just pissed off #when connor called wes' place ghetto #bro wtf #and making connor a gay stereotype #the “can't commit and sleeps with every hot boy”#if ur gonna make a show w gay people maybe don't make him a walking stereotype #but like fr my main problem #SO MUCH DRAMA #the whole time im like bro i wouldve dipped so long ago #who can live with this kind of stress #why they wanna be around people they don't like #like annalise calling bonnie miserable and pathetic #but still working and living with her??#why??#also i like annalise but why did they make her mean for no reason #to me it just seems like they gave into the angry black woman stereotype #like when she told micaela shes not her mother and to stop whining #she had a good point the court trial was at the same time as her other class #she can't just drop everything for one class #and FRANK #hes such A DICK #like laurel said he's misogynistic #so i''m confused why they made her sleep with him #bonnie and frank telling the keating 5 “there are stupid questions”#and bonnie saying what to do so they like them better #also laurel having to EARN respect #no u dont need to earn that u just deserve to be respected #a lot of moral problems with these characters but there are some endearing moments ig #and them not being all white makes me less harsh on them
