Just watched Nimona

The fact this movie never got a theater release because of Blue Sky's closure and Disney deciding to nix it once acquired will forever break my heart holy shit.

Like up front it is BEAUTIFULLY animated, the writing is tight as hell, the story is genuinely moving and amazing. By that alone it deserved to be in theaters.

#ok so.. i had a dream i went on an expedition with the guys i was filming the documentaries in july with but this time we were abroad or sth #and we were making another documentary and so we entered an antique store or sth to ask for directions #to someones house bc we want to interview them #and while that was happening i looked at the displays and saw some like. creepy looking but beautiful trinkets that were tagged as #'religious items' and they were like icons and statues and ritual stuff for a saint of cannibalism or somethibg? and in the dream i had #a specific memory of seeing one of those on tumblr and i was like. oh my god. i need to buy this. you guys go without me ill catch up #WELL you see . when the whole collection was wrapped up i wanted to pay with card BUT the card reader broke......#and then i asked them if they take euros and the lady behind the counter was like sorry we dont. and i looked at the time and location #and realized that there are no nearby places to exchange the 10 euros AND by the time i got to the closest one it would alr be closed #now i dont remember how that got untangled i think in the end we agreed id pay tomorrow or sth & i felt guilty for not being w my crew #and wasting hours trying to buy the 'saint of cannibalism' paraphernalia #piksla.txt
