You have ASPD but it seems like you also have a lot of friends and are nice to them. How does that work? Is it all just performitive or do your other disorders make it easier to have those relationships?
LOL so okay I am actually gonna answer this seriously but firsr I have to take a moment to acknowledge "u have aspd but ur nice?? how does thst work??" alshskslsjsjs
but okay. so. firstly "a lot" is a very relative term, but the short answer is by structuring them very specifically so as to make it the easiest for me to be nice lol
so like, I classify friends into 2 categories. casual friends and close friends
casual friends make up most of my relationships. these are people who I respect and like and therefore view as equals and real people. I have about 10 or so people who fit into this category rn, tho that is the largest circle I've ever had. these relationships are very low matinance tho and thats why they're easy to maintain. they dont rely on or ask much of me and I dont rely on or ask much of them. we simply exist in the same orbit and enjoy eachothers presence and company because we vibe. I like them, they like me, its not really much deeper than that and thats okay!
if someone isn't in this category and they begin to rely on me or expect things of me, or if someone in this category starts to expect too much of me, or they require more effort to maintain that relationship than I think they are worth then I usually tend to ghost (or if u happen to be a dick to a cute boy i like in the process then i call u out in the gen chat and tell u ur unlikeable as a person before I dip lmfaoowhoops) someone has to be worth the effort I invest in them. (and by worth i just mean that I know I will get a reciprocal amount of energy and effort back or because I think the person they are inherently is worth cultivating and keeping in my life for one reason or another)
my close friends work very differently. I put in a shit ton of effort into those friendships so I only have 3 of those rn and thats like max capacity lol and whether someone is a close or casual friend is a conscious choice and decision i make. my behavior towards them isn't really driven by an inherent sense of emotion or empathy or pull to care about them so it's more a yes/no thing for me.
if I find u to be deeply enjoyable and also worth the effort, to the point where I become invested in ur happiness and decide I want to take an active role in ur life, then u get put into that category and unlock Care lol which, because this is a conscious choice, once I decide to care about someone I am very loyal and there's very little I won't at least try and do. I trust these people not to take advantage of me or my kindness, time, and energy because they see the value in it and appreciate it, so I give freely. because I know if they are asking, its because they really need it. and I know that because I've observed thru their actions that thats the kind of person they are.
I look at close friendships as plants that I cultivate. I want to keep the plant alive because its existence brings me happiness, so I agree to learn its needs and put in the effort to care for it properly because thats how I achieve my goal. if I stop watering it, it will die, which isn't what I want. so even if im tired or annoyed or don't want to, I still make myself put in the work because its what I want in the long run.
so like. thats how I have friends lmfao and really all my relationships like my wife absolutely falls into this as well. hopefully that made sense and answered ur question and wasn't like. Too Long lol

Hagar the Theologian
A homily on Genesis 21:8-21, preached at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, Pittsburgh, on the Third Sunday after Pentecost 2020
I would speak to you in the name of God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Our Old Testament reading for this morning is disturbingly resonant with contemporary headlines, isn’t it? An African woman is divorced by her wealthy and powerful husband and is left to try to keep her child alive by herself.
When we meet her in today’s lesson, Hagar the Egyptian is a slave to the patriarch Abraham and his wife Sarah. Abraham, remember, was called by God when he was a moon-worshiper in Ur of the Chaldeans, and God made Abraham a promise that he would become the ancestor of many nations. “Look towards heaven,” God said to Abraham, “and count the stars, if you are able to count them…. So shall your descendants be” (Gen. 15:5). And Abraham believed this promise, and the Lord reckoned it to him as righteousness.
But then time starts to pass, and Abraham’s wife Sarah becomes impatient. At 76 or 77 years old, Sarah says to her husband, “You see that the Lord has prevented me from bearing children” (16:2). So Sarah concocts a plan. She arranges for Abraham to marry her Egyptian slave-girl Hagar, thinking that if Hagar becomes pregnant, the son that she bears for Abraham will be his heir. Maybe that is the way God intends the promise of offspring to be fulfilled.
Abraham agrees to this plan, and he conceives a child with Hagar, and immediately this creates bad blood between Hagar and Sarah, Abraham’s two wives. Sarah complains to Abraham, “I gave my slave-girl to your embrace, and when she saw that she had conceived, she looked on me with contempt” (16:5). Abraham, in effect, throws up his hands and tries to step away from the situation. “Your slave-girl is in your power,” he tells Sarah; “do to her as you please” (16:6). And Sarah does. She “deals harshly with her” (16:6), and Hagar flees.
By the time of our reading this morning, Hagar has had her son, Ishmael, and has returned to her mistress Sarah. Sarah, too, has finally had a son, a miracle child, Isaac. At the opening of our reading, Sarah sees Ishmael “playing” with her son Isaac (21:9). It’s hard to know what exactly is in view here. Some Bible readers have wondered if there are sexual connotations in this word, so that what Ishmael is doing with Isaac perhaps amounts to some kind of sexual abuse. Other readers have pointed out that, in the original Hebrew, the word for play sounds very similar to Isaac’s name — so Ishmael may be “Isaac-ing,” which is to say, “playing as if he were Isaac,” jostling for the position of the true heir, and trying to displace his half-brother.
Whatever the case, Sarah, Abraham’s first wife, reacts with jealous fury. She turns to Abraham and says, “Cast out this slave woman with her son; for the son of this slave woman shall not inherit along with my son Isaac” (21:10). Sarah can’t even bring herself to say their names. She reacts without pity and without mercy. It was Sarah’s plan in the first place for Hagar to have a son, but now that Isaac is on the scene, Sarah doesn’t want to share what she views as her son’s rightful inheritance. So Hagar and Ishmael have to go.
Perhaps most disturbingly of all is the way God seems to side with Sarah in ejecting Hagar and Ishmael. God says to Abraham: “whatever Sarah says to you, do as she tells you, for it is through Isaac that offspring shall be named after you” (21:12). Not only is Hagar losing her human community; she seems also to be losing her God.
The next morning, Abraham gets up early, and he gives Hagar and Ishmael a bit of bread and a container full of water and sends them off into the desert. With minimal provisions and an unforgiving landscape ahead of them, Hagar and Ishmael are going to their death.
A story like this is so familiar to many of us that we can easily ignore how unbearably tragic it is. Martin Luther, the Protestant Reformer, lingers over the tragedy of it: “Surely this is a piteous account, which I can scarcely read with dry eyes, that the mother and son so patiently bear their ejection and wander into exile. And so Father Abraham either stood there weeping, following the wanderers with his blessings and prayers, or else he hid by himself off in a corner, where he cried over his own fate and that of the exiles."
With barely enough provisions to survive for a handful of days, the African slave woman and her son are banished into the wilderness to suffer death alone.
The feminist Old Testament scholar Phyllis Trible, in her classic book Texts of Terror, writes this about Hagar: “As one of the first females in scripture to experience use, abuse, and rejection, Hagar the Egyptian slave claims our attention.” Trible wrote those words in 1984. How much more are they true today! Hagar claims our attention in 2020 too because we know Hagar’s face. We who live in the era of #MeToo and Black Lives Matter, we know about victimized women of color. It’s no wonder that Delores Williams says: “The African-American community has taken Hagar’s story unto itself. Hagar has “spoken” to generation after generation of black women because her story has been validated as true by suffering black people. She and Ishmael together, as family, model many black American families in which a lone woman/mother struggles to hold the family together in spite of the poverty to which the ruling class economics consign it. Hagar, like many black women, goes into the wide world to make a living for herself and her child, with only God by her side.”
And yet, for me, the worst part of this whole story is that God doesn’t seem to be by Hagar’s side. God seems to have abandoned Hagar and her son to suffer their fate. Martin Luther says that if you read the story from Hagar’s perspective, it looks for all the world like even God has forsaken Hagar. God is the friend of Abraham, so if Abraham divorces Hagar and sends her out into the desert to die, then why would she not think that God is the one breaking faith with her and sending her out to die?
And isn’t that where so many of us today live our lives too — in the fear or the dread certainty that God has indeed written us off and left us to suffer our fate alone? It’s no wonder so many people in our world today can identify with Hagar’s story. As Phyllis Trible says, “[A]ll sorts of rejected women find their stories in [Hagar]. She is the faithful maid exploited, the black woman used by the male and abused by the female of the ruling class, the surrogate mother, the resident alien without legal recourse, the other woman, the runaway youth, the religious fleeing from affliction, the pregnant young woman alone, the expelled wife, the divorced mother with child, the shopping bag lady carrying bread and water, the homeless woman, the indigent relying upon handouts from the power structures, the welfare mother, and the self-effacing female whose own identity shrinks in service to others.”
And, if all that weren’t enough, Hagar is the Godforsaken. She is the one for whom God is not there, not present, not ready and available to help and to save.
Eventually the water that Abraham had given to Hagar runs out. All her options now exhausted, Hagar leaves her son under a bush. Then she walks away from him so that she won’t have to watch him die of dehydration, and she begins to cry out and weep.
But this is not the first time Hagar has found herself in exile. When she fled from her mistress Sarah’s harsh treatment on a previous occasion, she had also ended up in the wilderness. Hagar had run out to the desert, and God had met her there. God had found her, and just like God did with Abraham, God made a promise to Hagar that her son, Ishmael, would be a great nation too, so numerous “that they cannot be counted for multitude” (16:10). And then, absolutely remarkably, Hagar had spoken to the Lord and even dared to give the Lord a name: “You are El-roi.” Then she said, “Have I really seen God and remained alive after seeing him?” (16:13). The Hebrew name that Hagar gave to God means “God of seeing,” or, we could translate it, “the God who is seen.”
This is an absolutely stunning moment in the plotline of the Bible. Hagar the African, Hagar the slave, Hagar the Egyptian foreigner in the household of Abraham, received her own vision of God, apart from her mistress and her husband. She beheld God, and she dared to give God a name. In biblical religion, no one is able to see God and live (Exod. 33:20). And yet Hagar saw God. God revealed himself to Hagar.
As I was reading the story of Hagar’s exile again this week to prepare for this sermon, I found myself thinking back to a parable of sorts from the Christian philosopher Basil Mitchell. Mitchell asks us to imagine a country under military occupation. There is a group of resistance fighters who are trying to stand up for what’s right in this occupied territory, and one night, one of the members of the resistance meets a stranger. “The Stranger tells the partisan that he himself is on the side of the resistance — indeed, that he is in command of it, and urges the partisan to have faith in him no matter what happens.” That turns out to be easier said than done, because although the resistance fighter trusts the Stranger, the Stranger does a lot of things that seem to call that trust into question. “Sometimes he is seen in the uniform of the police handing over patriots to the occupying power,” and in moments like that, it is nearly impossible to go on trusting the Stranger. But he does. He does trust, and it is precisely the disparity or mismatch between his faith and the way the Stranger behaves “which constitutes the trial of his faith.”[1] What the resistance fighter has to do is appeal to what he knows about the Stranger from their first meeting over against what he sees of the Stranger’s behavior in the present. He has to tell himself, “Even though it doesn’t always look like it, the Stranger is on my side.”
That is exactly what is happening as Hagar cries out on behalf of her dying child Ishmael. She has already seen God. God has already met with her and made a promise to her. Now it looks like that promise was a lie and God has abandoned her to die. But Hagar won’t accept that. Instead she weeps and “lift[s] up her voice” (21:16). Hagar doesn’t acquiesce to her circumstances; she protests. She laments. She asks, in spite of all appearances, for help.
One of the saints of the church, Bishop Isidore of Seville, once said that what Hagar was doing as she cried there in the desert was crying out (unbeknownst to her) to Jesus, who hung forsaken by God on a tree. Bishop Isidore says that it is no accident that as Hagar cries out, her son is lying under a tree. She left him there under a shrub or bush, but if you look closely, says St. Isidore, that bush is a tree — the tree: the tree where slaves have been lynched, the tree where criminals have been hanged, the tree that represents all the misery and evil of our violent world, the tree to which God’s feet and hands were nailed outside Jerusalem over two thousand years ago. Although everything in her present experience seems to say that God has left her to die alone, Hagar appeals to the God of the cross. If you like, Hagar appeals to God against God. (As Luther says, biblical faith is “to press toward God against God and to call out.”) Hagar runs for refuge to the God revealed in the suffering and death of the cross, even as she flees from the God who is hidden, inscrutable, and terrifying.
And then the text says: “God heard the voice of the boy,” as he lies there under the cross. “[A]nd the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven, and said to her, ‘What troubles you, Hagar? Do not be afraid; for God has heard the voice of the boy where he is” (21:17). “Then God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water. She went, and filled the skin with water, and gave the boy a drink” (21:19).
I don’t know what kind of wilderness you may be wandering in this morning. I don’t know what shadow or foretaste of death you may be facing. Whatever it is, hear the word of “Hagar the theologian” (Trible): When you are rejected, when you even feel abandoned by God himself, there is hope. God is in the wilderness, and God is to be found there, on the tree, suffering with you, bringing you salvation, and redeeming your life from the grave. Trust God. Trust the God of the tree. Trust the God revealed in the cross of Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

(which kind of doesnt helpcos they r all skinnty but that's FINEEEE) right? i mean like i guess cos we knew abt it? i can see why he was so pissed off, too? i mean i'm so fucking like...sensitive to being told what to do so i was angry for him from jump. i guess i was also looking at it different wholetime cos i knew the spoilers? i'm assuming u did too lmao. so we knew hed be pissed and leave. and frankly that's what sib gets. just for you my friend i will watch it and update. i think MANY times in shows in gen but it is something you notice a lot in BL bc they are just absolute novices most times. in this case, gene's actor mostly well (and i like him as a person just cos he was on that thai 3 girls in a car show and used to date on eof them lmao) can act so i will look over that scene to see how sib's actor plays off him. but the pausing in between sentences or for so long even decent actors or actors doing better. kao is not bad, not great so they will talk slowly because dramatic acting but the problem is most times it's too long. even if the person is an adept actor it won't always work and YES THEN THAT MEANS THE EDITOR COMES IN AND SNIP SNIP SNIP! it's too long. and sometimes it just does not work even if you can act. but it is GLARING when they cant or are average (someoe said this about tharntype and my god lmao tharn..is...so...slow...in...talking...the actor idk his name it's one of em, the other one with the nose (type) is....different not better but he certainly does not talk as slow. they arent bad but they are not good so.) also sometimes they are forgetting their lines. some ppl find this charming. clearly we do not lmao. what is their relation? what is going on there? i don't have a problem with stepbrothers as long as they didn't grow up with that sibling bond. many times blended families really have to watch out for that kind of fraternizing but it's always when theyre older and teenagers bc they didnt grow up w/ each other....i mean they have chemistry so i'm whatever. but. hennYYWAYYYS.actually it's bc im an idiot i didn't read it as Mhok (singular) and aey's father. Yes and his sister who i think i may hate? im like bitch okkkkkk but. his name is lhong. and he is a psycho. i mean so is type. so. oooh it could be that he stole! but also i'm pretty sure cos hes gay lol or did they
not make that explicit? the thing is i had to skip through most of that scene too because the drama was WAY too much for me. too much. lmao. the sister thing i got and it made sense and iliked that. oh yea he is gay and they know. that's a big one.
WBL
haven’t watched color rush! did you like it? i have seen wyel, parts of mr heart, and ofc to my star :)
ohhhhhh ok. i get you. yea he definitely wasn’t being ooc cos i think that....what u said. and also like....ugh i cant even think rn. i like sam lin a lot so i like gao shi de but i gotta say. lmao. hm. first of all. yes it is creepy what he did. it’s fucking weird. and sad that his whole life revolves around him. it’s not as fucking weird as LW but still like when he did the door thing. i was like UMMMMMMMMM cos i really didnt want it to be constructed. and when it was i was like imma suspend my disbelief. but if anyone dared...
and so what he did in s2 i think he just couldnt realize that he was loved back which is why it’s good he WAS ALONE for 5 yrs imo. but he gave shu yi 0 choice and for that i am pretty sure i would be even angrier. i do think though that the father’s role is pretty important but i can see how the show is like....letting that go? bc as fucking weird as GSD is, he was still like...20? i guess and shu yi’s dad is like. crazy? i am also like he really had to fucking start a company to get noticed like are u joking? is it also that easy? and also why? lmao i just. ugh. i think that probs bothered me the most...priorities.
i like the show! well idk if i love it but sure. i think it’s decent lmao. i understand what you’re saying. for here it bothers me less but i certainly don’t think it was OOC. immature and stupid but like...that’s.....what they are. i also don’t have a problm with the timing from a technical point.
however, when i started the show? i had NO clue what concept of time it was. and that was very annoying. tehy redeemed it bc of the comedy aspects (the first time shu yi sees shi de is so fucking good, i really loved the shot and editing; it’s hilarious and silly) and i started to go with the flow of the show through that. but the fucking concept of time in the show in general esp with repetitive outfits (i understand that they are more likely to wear multiple outfits as well, it’s just that you have to split it up or it i sconfusing visually and looks like the same scene twice or just a full day of shooting which it could be but then something should change in the clothes. this is just an ex~~*~*) and partof that is they have this already controlled narrative i guess.
i have to admit as well...i skipped episode 1. and most of 2. i was like i rly dont want to see someone slap a pereson even if they were like. not together. it’s just not cute also not in front of ppl. and then when they were yelling and bla bla i was like listen ladies lets calm down. too much angst in a boring way. what they have now is good. also they should probably like estrange the father but i doubt they will.
i cannot make up my mind totally now bc i see what ur saying i guess i just don’t feel that way as much but i guess i have to think about it more, too. i do think he was contorlling in getting him or like when he didnt want shu yi to find out whwatshisface liked him. i guess for me it would be if he is still that way in the rship. but even tho he’s at fault for what happened, i’m also like but his dad? but also like...did he try? why did he just stop contacting? but then i guess he emailed everyday? DO U C MY QUANDARY.
alsoi have to say i do not care abt their backdoor being opened lmao like wow business? no thanks
LMAO. did they cry a lot in UWMA? i only know the teamwin parts. which one is fluke the really pale one who died? idk what it is about that kid but i just cant watch him. it’s not his fault it’s mine.
DUDE i still dont understand the husband and wife thing and ive looked into it multiple times. ive kinda just classified it as one of those things that make me uncomfortable but arent problematic lol. it you have any insight about it id love to hear it tho !!
it’s stupid. that’s what it is (husband and wife.) it’s just something they say like many gay couples may use pejoratives in conjunction with them, the f word etc. or even imply something about being a top and a bottom. whatever. but these arent gay spaces or gay storylines. sure gay men may direct them but since BL operates and relies on patriarchy without a doubt and also stereotypes poorly kathoeys or won’t cast trans women in anything substantial and use them as jokes (and see this is one of those things where it’s like...ud never see this in the US tho like our concept of third gender or kathoeys but life stillBOOOOO.) so it’s just useless when they put it into the scripts because it’s for people to consume and lots of girls are. obviously. so the idea that if you are being penetrated and u r the wife and this is used like literally anywhere but not from gay or whatever men is gross. are cis women’s vaginas sieves to them? are trans women not women? do we have to categorize people by PHALLIC OBJECTS IN OUR BODIES SPECIFICALLY A WOMAN? it dont make no sense. plus really most ppl just experiment, there’s more ways than one to have sex, we have lives so most times it’s not just full penetration for hours anyway. it’s just so gross. like oh that’s really funny lol ur the wife cos his dick goes in ur butt XD i get it, same. i say “i’m wife’ whenever there’s a penis in me. fucking kill me. it’s not a big deal but it’s just dumb and gross. if they use it they could try and subvert it too like i like how my engineer has  a whole absurdly stupid episode about it. but in TT the dad says “if ur the wife i wont accept it” and i was like u know what gals? im good. goodbye.
pgojaihousgajigko THAT’S SOOOOOOO OOWIEOFUGHOIJ WEIRD. FANDOM IS REALLY WEIRD. i have read rpf and written it once upon a time but dont do it anymore  uch. i mean it’s weird. no doubt about that. invasive, weird, strange. but very unreal anyway. it is. plus i dont like celebs or fame and think of it as a gross capitalist scheme so i had to stop (also so weird?) but i know very many people like lean in. lean in. LEAN IN. this youtuber i watch did a video on like insanely popular ships (like that 1d one) and their insane fandoms and i just couldnt. it’s so embarrassing? and then they’re so bold????? about it?
yea it would be cool (more queer men or visibly we should say or like out whatever.) but it doesnt necessarily mean that will be good or beneficial i guess? i mean like. i dont know. so much about the genre is about wish fulfilment for young girls. its literally selling some fantasies because the other thing is for BL (i read a paper on this...) esp for girls in more conservative societies they cna maybe replace themselves in the character? but they may not feel a threat as a woman or like their life will fall apart if they engage in sexual things with anyone really. and that’s where i’m like....for a lot of these are they just writing a story and just replacing two men? bc they also seem to think it owrks like that. and in a way that’s what it is bc of the writing and how they use certain terms. you can tell the piece is about pushing a product and less about the real affects of a story. i think ITSAY is a great example of a really intelligent great piece of work that contains multitudes. and the girl was amazing. it just depends on the goal. and for most of the ppl the goal isnt...to do anything. so i dont know. idk how to talk abt representation anymore. it both is and isnt.
i really liked tingting from my engineer a lot (idk if u have seen) she’s so fun and unapologetic. i love how much she drinks and if someone tells her to be ladylike she says no. and i appreciate that in the show when girls were rude to her she said nothing about the girls but said “NO IM NOT LUCKY TO HAVE ALL MALE FRIENDS?” i really want to see her more in the next season. obviously tiffy is goat. super excited to see how their rship develops.

Little controversial, but a lot of fun. What are your sim s' toxic traits? Asking all of my favourite story tellers. Let's get deep
omg YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS please i love talking about controversial things lets goooooooooo <3
vlad - he’s a very controlling and overbearing person, honestly. he’s the type of person who trusts his knowledge above everyone else’s and feels he’s the most capable in any given situation, therefore he feels it’s only right that he’s in charge, no matter the circumstance. he’s wise, yes, but after centuries of believing this of himself, his wisdom has warped to unabashed pride, and he finds it difficult to trust another’s capabilities over his own because of it. i like to think this ties into why he’s fairly codependent in his relationships; he needs to feel as though he’s the one providing for, guiding, and therefore “controlling” his relationships, he needs to feel needed, so he seeks out people who feed into that desire, people he feels are “misguided” who need a wise, proper hand to bring them to normalcy. you know, someone like him, the spitting image of normalcy, seeking out impressionable people in an attempt to satiate his intense desire to be needed. like sir have u ever heard of therapy? LMAOOO
breanna - she’s laidback to a fault and oftentimes irresponsible, someone who rarely considers the outcomes of her decisions and someone who ignores the telltale signs given to her. this manifests in a lot of careless, reckless behavior and poor decision making skills. like, for instance, if vlad reminds breanna that the water bill must be paid by x day? you best bet the water will be shut off because queen, irresponsible as she is, forgot to send the check. if she promises to bring you to your doctor’s appointment, you best bet that the morning of you’re gonna call her only to discover she didn’t realize your doctor’s appointment was Today and she is currently stoned asf and cannot operate her vehicle, to which you will reply Breanna It’s 8 AM Why Are You Smoking At 8 AM to which she will apologize and cry and hang up and fall asleep. much like vlad, i like to think this ties into her own codependency issues, as she feels she’s, in essence, unable to properly, or rather, responsibly care for herself, and must rely on someone else to do this for her. she enables his controlling nature by relying on him for most things, and in return he enables her immaturity by providing for her unconditionally. isn’t that, like, super fucked up lmaooooo? like, it’s the sims universe u know, so take all of this with a grain of salt, bc like in the context of my silly sims 4 legacy all of these codependency issues honestly amount to, like, breanna being a happy and uncritical stoner tradwife and vlad being the one who pays the bills and drives. it’s not actually that serious u know. but when you think about it critically and apply it to like real-world scenarios n consequences n whatever... it’s gross as fuck <3 you guys need therapy <3
lucien - like vlad, he’s fairly prideful, as he feels he’s the most knowledgeable and capable of any given situation, but more so than that, he feels the need to show off his intelligence by testing others’ knowledge. he also feels the need to lecture those he feels aren’t as knowledgeable as he is; often he doesn’t realize he’s doing it. he’ll basically mansplain to you for hours, if you don’t keep him in check. also, his ego usually gets the best of him, and he can’t help but find himself better than those he views as unintelligent. it can come off a little classist at times, and this is something which has been brought to his attention in the past, something he wishes to alleviate in his further interactions. it’s a work in progress. ;-;
gen - their main issue is that they’ve a difficult time understanding and empathizing with other people, primarily women. i like to think this comes from their overall discomfort within themselves, whether that discomfort revolves around their personality, their gender identity, or their apathy towards life. women in particular are difficult for gen to empathize with, as it is that gen makes an effort to distance themselves from women, most likely a consequence of their discomfort with their assigned gender. lashing out at the “thing” they wish to distance themselves from is a simple, quick way to tell your peers, I Am Not This Thing! you don’t wish to be perceived as a women? vehemently hate all of that which is considered womanly, and maybe you’ll stand a chance against your audience. that’s... gen’s way of looking at it, at least. it’s not healthy, and gen realizes this by now, but so far it’s not caused too much of a hindrance on their life, save for all the girlfriends they can’t get because of their shitty misogynistic streak, so they’re not too bothered. i can promise you as they grow more comfortable with themselves, they will eventually drop their mean streak. i know gen’s been a misogynist for, like, two years now lmaooo ;-;
carlile - much like his mother, he’s extremely irresponsible. he forgets important dates, he often misplaces his belongings and the belongings of others, he can hardly be trusted to cook without forgetting the stove’s on then burning the house to the ground. he’s also rather bratty, especially when he’s hungry. idk i’m blanking on carlile honestly his toxic trait is being perfect <3
nikolai - he has a hard time establishing boundaries with others, so he often finds himself in situations he finds uncomfortable, merely because he can’t say no to anything. you can usually tell when he’s uncomfortable, as he wears the expression well on his face, but even then, he’ll bite his tongue and carry onwards. worst of all, though, he’ll be upset with you if you’re the one who suggested the plans, even if he’s the one who agreed to the situation despite not wanting to attend in the first place.
klaus - he doesn’t expect anything from anybody, and he feels that all people should feel this way about each other, as no expectations means no one can get hurt. this also means, however, that klaus’ effort put into everything he does is fairly low, and he doesn’t often impress people with his lazy, myopic attitude. he’s self-dependent to a fault, wanting to do most things by himself without considering the help of others, as he feels he’s the only one who should provide for himself. basically, he doesn’t accept “charity” from other people, and he thinks most people shouldn’t accept “charity” from others, either. very much a “pull yourself up by the bootstraps” kind of guy, which i consider toxic as fuck, so, like. :)
anastasia - she’s a lot like vlad; she feels her judgment is the best in most situations, and she feels she deserves to be in charge at all opportunities because of this. her confidence teeters on pride, and she often confuses the two and unknowingly comes across as arrogant and abrasive because of this. she trusts the abilities of others, it’s just that she believes she works the hardest and wants it the most, and this innate desire puts her above others. she’s also prone to fits of jealousy, especially over her friends, an attribute also lovingly instilled into her by her father :p if you so much as look at her best friends the wrong way, she will come for your throat as though she were some rabid dog, about to feast on her next meal. she’s loyal, yes, but loyalty doesn’t come without its faults; she’s quick to excuse her friends, even for truly heinous actions they provably committed, so long as she feels the intention is forgivable. her love and affection for other people blinds her, and often she’ll act in their best interest, even if that means being rude or aggressive towards others who go against them.
ilya - his toxic trait is that he’s never featured on this blog and idk what to do with him <3 his other toxic trait is that when hes a teen hes gonna commit arson. thats sooooo toxic
ok im gonna go through everyone else really quickly bc my fingers hurt HAHAHA ok lets speedrun this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
bonnie - her toxic trait is that she thinks 50 shades of gray is legitimately a good book series. LMAOOOOOOOOOOOO
cooper - his toxic trait is that he smells so bad and he doesnt know why he uses soap and deodorant and bathes frequently hes just sweaty asf and you know what Me too king sweaty kings rise up
shivi - her toxic trait is that shes a barista at a coffee shop and she doesnt even like coffee. her other toxic trait is that she lowkey hates vampires :( and thats just rude asf
maeve - her toxic trait is that shes an apologist. she sees someone doing something terrible and shes like OKAY THEY DID THIS BAD THING BUT THEY’RE JUST TROUBLED IT’S NOT THEIR FAULT MAYBE I CAN FIX THEM!!!! like no bitch you cant
tarek - his toxic trait is NOTHING tarek is literally so perfect like he just wants to take care of his sick boyfriend and learn how to be a top tier witch like thats it? He doesnt deserve any slander bye
abigail - her toxic trait is that she’s SOOOOOO clingy to the point where like u guys can be in the same room but if you’re not looking at her rn while you two are in the same room together she’s like DO YOU HATE ME? like abbie please we dont hate u ur just being crazy rn. shes also extremely jealous and self-destructive so like if she feels like u are cheating on her she will FREAK OUT and ruin your relationship bc she doesn’t know how to effectively communicate her emotions and feels the need to lash out inexplicably at everything that triggers her </3 poor girl
karmen - her toxic trait is that she hides behind her humor and nonchalant persona to mask her emotions. she says it’s a coping mechanism, but the truth is, she refuses to meaningfully engage with these feelings, as they’re too uncomfortable for her, so she downplays her struggles with humor. she’s very much someone who acts as though she’s got it under control, even if the truth is, she’s struggling to stay afloat. her other toxic trait is that she will endanger her own internet safety it if means she can get a cute e-milf to send her money <3
caspian - he’s reserved to a fault, as though he’s physically unable to admit what’s troubling him. yet, when he speaks, you can always tell when there’s an issue. it’s always one of those things with him, where the emotion is too repressed to be articulated, yet too present to ignore. he’s so resistant to aid, he’d rather subject himself to terrible situations if it means denying help from another. often, he does this under the guise that he doesn’t wish to be a burden to others, therefore he must take care of himself without help, but he fails to realize that by not helping himself, he’s hurting his relationships around him, which burdens everyone. he’s deeply insecure, and he often weaponizes his insecurities, typically without meaning to. this manifests in a lot of self-deprecation, deflective language during arguments, ie “I’m the worst person ever, I wouldn’t blame you if you hated me after this,” which often comes off very manipulative. again, he doesn’t mean to sound manipulative, it’s just something that happens naturally, something he's gotta work towards alleviating.
vaughn - like caspian, he’s many emotions which are too strong to ignore, though too repressed to be expressed. this manifests primarily through vaughn’s financial immaturity and his promiscuity. he enjoys the physical pleasures of life, and he often abuses these luxuries as a way to distract himself from the very real pain he feels, pain he refuses to admit he harbors. so instead he sings his silly songs and spends his money recklessly and fucks everyone within a thirty mile radius to distract himself from the void in his chest :\
wolfgang - he’s basically an incel LMAOOOOOOO or like what do they call an incel who larps as a normal person to pick up woman? a pick up artist i think? hes that LMAO hes quite literally in the incel community is what im trying to say. i havent talked about it yet but its literally a plot point. if you look in my brainstorm sheet rn it says “Wolfgang munch reads incelme forums every day. Wolfgang munch thinks j*rdan peters*n is the leading figurehead in the hall of intelligentsia.” so like yeah
