Okay I haven’t made many posts with her included (which im gonna do 😂) but I LOVE Ayako

She’s very beautiful and i think in a way that’s unconventional compared to many mangas. Curly haired female characters are really uncommon in manga, so seeing a girl like ayako was really surprising. I think her features overall make her look really realistic. Like she looks morrocan or dominican, and the fact that she’s portrayed to be canonically beautiful makes it so that her features are portrayed in a positive light

Also she’s literally the backbone of the team? Part of why Miyagi stayed for hs basketball was because she encouraged the team so well. She’s been there since before the team was good, like how akagi and kogure were. And throughout the series, she gave the boys ALOT of support. Like girl was literally the one who taught Sakuragi the basics??

Sawakita is also very different from other sports manga rivals. I mean he gets made fun of by his own team, mf cries SM. He has fangirls and I think he treats them well (shown by how he wore a t shirt one of them gifted).

He’s not a bad person either, he even helped Rukawa up when he fell down. He was very encouraging towards his teammates too when he was benched. DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS PARENTS?? He’s so respectful to them, boy was out there thanking them for everything when he was drunk on a plane. Plus from his backstory, i think it shows he really loves his dad. Some yall mfs could never LMAOOO

I think his dynamic with Rukawa and Sakuragi too. He was funny asl with Sakuragi. And I like that Sawakita was part of what pushed Rukawa to improving as a player (as well as Sendoh). ALL THAT AND HES GOOD LOOKING???

His appearance had a big glow up through the series too. People like rukawa were always drawn as good looking ecen in the beginning but sendoh was drawn to be ugly?? Like he did NOT look good. But towards the end of the series, dude was honestly stunning asl. Like he needs to put me on to whoever threaded his eyebrows

Why did Jack keep Evil Befall?

Unlike his teammate Zeo and Toby, who also endured the arrangement, Jack didn't change Beyblade despite changing philosophy. I wanted to dive deeper into why it makes sense for him to keep it.

Jack (Beyblade Metal Fury: The New Stricker is Complete!-Episode 118).

Symbolism is very important in MFB and inexorably links bladers with their beys, and Jack is no exception. Befall is a peacock, which symbolizes beauty. Jack himself is obsessed with beauty and wants to find a suitable blader for his art, like Tsubasa. He has no desire to fight bladers whom he considers not artistic material. Jack is, in a way, quite superficial. Another, and more important, concept that the peacock represents is rebirth (life and death). In Metal Masters, Jack used the souls of others to bring his art to life (as seen with Klaus' state at the end of episode 89 or when he told Ryuga that his work only needed a soul to be over).

Jack and Ryuga (Beyblade Metal Masters: The Dragon Emperor Descends-Episode 93).

Eyes are a window to the soul after all, and the motifs on a peacock's tail are reminiscent of eyes. Jack himself covers half of his face with a mask. In a way, he hides the person he was before, and at the same time, it shows the missing part of himself, of his soul that he sold to Ziggurat for power.

In Metal Fury, Jack removed the mask; he even said that he was reborn. Which is true: he combined who he was before and during the arrangement while tossing away his insanity and craziness (the result of him having lost his mind/soul).

Comparing this evolution to Toby and Zeo's shows that they could no longer keep Tempo and Byxis. @sky-of-dusk established that Tempo and Byxis were objects they figuratively needed: Toby, who was dying, needed more time, and Zeo, who was lost, needed direction. However, after the destruction of Hades Inc., they no longer required those. I would add that Tempo and Byxis are objects and tools that anybody can use in their everyday life. Yet, Toby and Zeo are not tools anymore; they were freed from Ziggurat. Toby's Lyra is reminiscent of Orpheus, but it is also an instrument. Learning how to play an instrument can be long and time-consuming; similarly, Lyra is not an easy Bey that anyone can master, as stated by Masamune. An instrument isn't a commodity; it is an activity that is fulfilling for the mind and spirit: it symbolizes that Toby recovered his mind that Ziggurat tried to steal, but his body, his style, scarred, as seen with his white hair (and the MF tip that Lyra shares with Ziggurat's Capricorn). Zeo replaces his compass with a fox Beyblade. Foxes are wild animals, part of the canidae like the dog; Zeo is not a dog; he is free. Yet, unlike Toby, his mind is still impacted more than his body. The face-bolt of Spiral Fox emulates the kitsune, a fox-like creature that deceives humans and hides its true nature. The energy ring is blue like Spiral Capricorn, highlighting a more symbolic link between Fox and Ziggurat's Bey. Zeo hides his trauma because, more than Toby, he remembers everything starting with the pain. In the end both were greatly impacted by the Spiral Force event as demonstrated by their use of the spiral fusion wheel.

The point I am trying to make is that Toby and Zeo were scarred and traumatized, while Jack didn't go through the same path. He enjoyed the arrangement, and he liked the person he became because of this, which is in direct contradiction to Toby and Zeo's experiences. As a result, he has less reason to change Bey since he will not associate Befall with bad events.

Finally, I would conclude by saying that Benkei had a similar experience: He was given Dark Bull by Doji but kept it. He even told Shinobu in Zero G that it doesn't matter who gives you your Bey; what matters is what you do with it. Also, the way Jack got Befall is similar to how Benkei got Bull: They were given by a member of the Hades cult, trying to use them as pawns for their greater ambition. In the scene, they also reference their constellation and instantly take a liking to their new Bey, "which specialize in upper attacks". Also, Jack is the only member in Star Breaker to directly get his Bey with Ziggurat present. Furthermore, Bull and Befall share some similarities: the colors are close (red and pink), their Fusion Wheels are named after something negative (Dark and Evil/Killer), their Spin Track is their most iconic/important part and emulates a part of their BeyBeast (horns for Bull and wings for Befall). Finally, the EWD tip is considered an "evolution" of SD (Dark Bull's tip), since Nightmare Rex another beyblade goes from the SW145SD combo to UW145EWD. The most important thing is that Jack truly bonded with Befall, as seen in the Destroyer Dome, like Benkei bonded with Bull.

So Jack kept Befall because it works symbolically and for his character.

New Jeff HCS Cause IDK What to Even Do With This Dude

WARNING! This list will be discussing topics of child abuse/SA.

As I’ve mentioned previously as a young child he was abused by his parents.

He had behavioral issues and instead of working through them his parents just held him down.

He has chunky belt shaped scars on his wrist from being strapped down to his high chair as a child.

While his mother sought help for her behavior, his father continued.

He was always deemed the evil twin compared to Liu.

Liu was more quiet and reserved, while Jeff spoke for the both of them.

Many described him as disrespectful and mean.

He loves animals.

He used to lease a buckskin quarter horse named Woody from an elderly neighbor.

Jeff competed in reining primarily.

The owner sold the horse later on and Jeff bawled his eyes out over it.

He’s as country as it gonna get.

He has a very deep voice. Which is funny cause he’s like 5’1. He also has a very pronounced southern accent.

In high school he was a cheerleader. He was a flyer and could double as a base or back spot.

He’s muscular and agile, despite his size he can indeed whoop almost anybody’s ass.

His dad was an alcoholic.

Jeff and his dad would constantly fight, even before they moved.

The move made it worse.

They’d get physical, and Jeff would usually wind up taking his dad out back to beat him like a dusty rug.

His father has also shoved him into a counter, busting his eyebrow open and giving Jeff a black eye.

Jeff called social services multiple times. There was an incident where he had gotten beaten so bad there were belt shaped marks running on his legs and back. This was over a bad math grade.

He’s very much a mama’s boy. If you wanna fight him (which I wouldn’t recommend) insult his mother.

He will also fight you if you try his brother. Cause if you’re gonna fight one twin expect the other to roll up.

Lost trust in a lot of authority, especially from male figures.

Jeff’s pretty good at hunting and fishing.

One time he went to Louisiana and a suspicious Cajun man gave him a German shepherd puppy and said to take good care of it.

Yeah that puppy turned out to be Smile,

Except Jeff decided to name him Cujo.

Yeah that dog is ludicrously big but genuinely thinks he’s a lap dog.

He’s not scared of shit and it’s concerning,

Once time a water moccasin hissed at him and this mf slapped it and told it to shut up. The snake listened.

He’s also gone gator hunting before, and dabbled in a bit of catfish noodling.

He loves camping and the outdoors.

He has a nice blue truck he treats like a child. The truck is named Cobalt.

Jeff is also a very good driver.

Jeff has a bunch of funny little pieces of knowledge he’s picked up from doing little odd jobs around town.

Gay as hell.

His awakening was his childhood best friend named Mickey.

Later on when he moved he took interest in Randy.

This messed with him a lot when Randy decided to start shit with him.

Randy found out and outed his ass.

Jeff was promptly had his shit rocked by his dad and was kicked out of his home and forced to figure it the fuck out all on his own.

Part of his dad’s abuse included cutting off most of Jeff’s hair, which reached to his mid-lower back. This completely crushed his self image and confidence.

Lived in his truck for a while, still going to school and working.

Got back on his feet after graduation and enrolled in trade school.

Jeff got a job as a welder and moved back home to Vicksburg, Mississippi.

Moved in to his maternal grandparents house.

One day his dad visited him. It didn’t end well. To this day his body has never been found.

The murder of his father sparked an interest in killing. He felt good for taking evil out of the world, and wanted to do it again.

Under the guise of a reserved, grumpy cowboy he worked as a hitman under the Slenderman.

He’s a good actor, and it’s easy for him to manipulate others. He takes joy in it, none of his victims are innocent.

His victims are all either abusers or rapists that have gotten away with what they’ve done.

there’s a lot of scenes from love like the galaxy between shaoshang and buyi I would consider coma inducing, but I don’t think anybody survived the scene where niaoniao cries in zisheng’s arms after being mistreated in the palace. It was sooooo mf good officer!!!!! I think the build up of emotion from zhao lusi really sold it like, she felt hurt but she couldn’t bring herself to reveal everything in front of zisheng. rather than her not trusting him, that’s just how she was raised for the last 15 years of her life... before she met ah yao or zisheng, there was rarely anybody on her side other than her maid. she had to handle all her problems alone and bottle up her emotions because she didn’t have anybody to rely on, let alone someone who had the power to actually help her. she slowly began developing feelings for zisheng, but I always saw so many comments saying that shaoshang wasn’t being open enough in the relationship when in reality, why should she be? If anything, her character was much more rational and realistic for being the way she was, compared to if she just suddenly became heads over heels over a man. she never even willfully accepted ling buyi’s proposal, or had any romantic feelings towards him UNTIL the marriage was in place. even though at the time of this “bed” scene they were much closer, that wouldn’t really justify her feeling comfortable sharing everything with zisheng. all she could do was cry and ask for him to hold her, which in itself was in my opinion, much more intimate and shaoshang-esque. that scene followed up with her asking zisheng to teach her self-defense skills was so romantic and nicely scripted. I especially loved it when zisheng said “as long as I am here, no one will ever hurt you” and she interrupts him and says “what if you’re not here?” LIKE... It’s such a little thing but at the very core that is who cheng shaoshang is written to be. she is headstrong, stubborn and rebellious but she was always open to love and adoration. she just never had it, and she had to learn how to accept it.

Eren:

- Anger issues for sure, in a modern au he would punch walls. In canon we’ve all seen him try to punch the air or scream so 🙄🤚

- Does not know how to wash his hair so the top of his head is always a little bit greasy, and it never smells nice

- Crusty eyes and Mikasa always has to remind him to wipe them off in the mornings

Mikasa:

- Rarely ever washes the scarf so it’s really worn out and kinda just nasty

- Her nails are extremely short, like, her nail beds show

- If you were to vent to her she probably would be the type of person to respond with “oof” or “that’s tough”

Armin:

- Mf is always clearing his nose, like he always needs a tissue or some shit or he’s sniffling

- His hands are always clammy, they’re really nice hands they’re just always damp for some reason

- Lowkey really good at manipulating but in like smaller ways. Like if he wants you do to something he could convince you to do it by making it seem like your idea

Connie:

- Voice cracks GALORE especially when he was younger, not as much now except for when he’s upset

- Talks extremely loudly at really inappropriate times

- he has flat feet so his foot steps are very loud and not discreet at all, but he’s gotten better kinda with it b/c training

Sasha:

- Will absolutely steal food off of your plate when you’re not looking even after you said she couldn’t have any

- NEVER knocks, it’s not that she doesn’t want to she just always forgets. When she does she knocks AS she’s opening the door

- Will find a piece of food in her teeth, announce it to everybody, and then proceed to eat it

Jean:

- Everybody knows that when he was younger he was a complete asshole to his mom so I don’t need to come up with one for that

- Takes shit a little TOO seriously and still very personally so he gets upset easily

- If he shaves and then grows out his facial hair it looks really fucking bad for a while before he cleans it up

Ymir:

- Kind of a bitch sometimes like she will just say shit that comes to mind even if it’s a rude comment about someone

- Gets angry whenever someone even looks at Historia in a way that she thinks is “suspicious”—basically she gets jealous easily

- Will wear the same shirt for like a week and not wash it

Historia:

- CONSTANTLY talks about how short she is and compares hand sizes, even if she’s already done it dozens of times before to the same person

- Puts on a really fake nice voice whenever she wants to be condenscending that’s really obvious

- Smells good just TOO strongly of perfume

The Warriors

Reiner:

- Cries after sex :/ doesn’t really know why he does it just happens sometimes

- I saw this from someone else I forgot who but...he clears his throat very loudly and it’s a solid 5 seconds of awkward silence after

- Probably smells nice and has good hygiene however he does not know that he has to clean behind his ears

Bertholdt:

- Picks at his scabs or sores or just anything that looks even mildly entertaining

- Does not understand sarcasm very well and he’s really bad it

- I hate to say this but his breath probably doesn’t smell the best 💀 he hates it bc he brushes his teeth it just never seems to work

Annie:

- Really and at comforting like so fucking bad at it. She has her own shit so like she just does not now how to handle anybody else’s

- Needs glasses but absolutely fucking refuses to wear them and IF she does they’re so fucking smudged up and dirty

- She probably doesn’t wash her hair for like 2 weeks and thinks that putting it into a ponytail is enough and nobody will notice

The Veterans

Levi:

- In a modern au he would leave you on opened or delivered for DAYS to weeks because he despises texting

- Somebody said on tiktok that he would use the “because I said so” argument and I 1000% agree

- Chapped lips because he picks at them and he doesn’t even know it

Erwin:

- Stands really close to you when he talks so it’s a little bit uncomfy

- Also really bad at sarcasm and jokes because his voice and speech are just so deadpan and plain, nobody knows when he’s being serious or cracking a joke

- He keeps the top of his desk clean but if you open the drawers are SO cluttered and make no fucking sense. Somebody please organize this mans shit

Hange:

- Completely ignores the concept personal space whenever she gets excited

- She would be the kind of person to walk up to you and grab your foot her hand and yell “LET ME CRACK YOUR FINGERS/TOES”

- Her glasses are ALWAYS dirty and nobody knows how she can even see out of them

Oikawa lives for this shit

He will pretend as if he’s affected by the insults just to flirt with you. You can tell in the end that he wasn’t affected, but you go with it anyway because the sexual tension is through the roof. Oikawa being Oikawa, he’ll probably pull you away to make out.

The first few times Iwaizumi tries to break it up, but after a while he gets used to it.

But the first time you do it to Iwaizumi he doesn’t give a single fuck. These insults are stuff that anyone could say; unless you say something that only Oikawa, as his childhood friend, knows, then that’ll hurt. So until then, he’s basically invulnerable.

He’d be angry after the those mean comments, but I think Iwa would be good at angry sex

Mattsun’s a chill mf that would insult you back light-heartedly and he would not care about the comments. On the other hand, he will flirt back. After he knows about your antics and when he sees that he’s going to be your target, he’ll just pull you aside to make out and make fun of each other. Though, if he’s in a bit of mood, he will build up the sexual tension with you.

Makki is snarky as well, so he will insult you back and make it a competition. In the end, of course, you win since you do this on the daily. Keep in mind that mean comments don’t affect him, it’s only the fact that he lost the competition that does. He feels a little embarrassed when you start flirting with him, especially if you flirt with pity. “Aww, little Maki feeling down?” cup his chin with your hand i beg of you

Kyotani will also make the insulting a competition, but his insults are pathetic even compared to Makki’s since he lets yours get to his temper. Flirting with him would make him tsundere-like, but he will accept a few kisses, maybe even make out. He’s not experienced at all, which is what makes him reluctant. Of course, if he were, angry sex would be amazing

You bet your ass that somebody will make out with you after a match because you insult and flirt with them, even if it distracts them. “Hey, nice ass!” As they jog to go serve and, “That spike was pathetic!” even when they spike a kill. Somebody’s gonna shout “shut up” or “fuck off”

Date Tech

Aone would simply not give a fuck about the insults. But the flirting will get him flustered. Good luck on trying to kiss him though, cause he won’t try to kiss you and you can’t tiptoe to his height.

But he will always try to stop you if he ever catches you trying to do the same to anybody else, except for Futakuchi. He knows that his captain likes the flirting part.

Futakuchi will make the insult a competition but he will be affected by your snarky comments. In the end, what signals his defeat is him groaning - really loudly - and falling to the ground dramatically. Pick him up, tease him for it, and you got putty in your hands.

Fukurodani

Mean comments will get to Bokuto’s ego. He tries to fight back with his own, but that doesn’t affect you. Eventually, he’s going to turn into depressed Bokuto. Akaashi will scold you for this if it’s the first time, but when you assure him that “You got this” he’ll let you try to entertain the ace.

The flirting made him perk up and react as if you were comforting him, which makes him forget you were the one who insulted him in the first place. In the end, he’ll accept a kiss, but he’s too dense to register the sexual tension.

Akaashi will not give a fuck about your insults unless, like Iwaizumi, they’re based off something that nobody else knows. Until you don’t know those things, he will not accept your flirting either.

Once you do, and you get him dejected and all, the only way flirting will build up sexual tension for him is an apologetic undertone.

Konoha insults back and makes it a competition but the only way he stands a chance is if the mean comments don’t make it to his ego, which they do. He also makes flirting a competition, it’s just in his nature.

Inarizaki

When you insult either of the twins, the one you’re making fun of calls for the other. It’s the only way that they’ll cooperate with each other. Even so, you’re much better at making fun of them than they are. Mean comments Osamu will still get to his ego, but it won’t hurt him as much as it does to Atsumu. Suna will record the whole thing.

Flirting with Osamu makes him realize that the insults didn’t mean shit, thus restoring his ego. He’ll flirt back and, instead of only suggesting something explicit, he’ll mostly likely invite you for a dinner date ‘cause he knows his cooking is amazing. He doesn’t mean it, but he won’t mind if you actually do take his offer.

Flirting with Atsumu makes him confused. Granted, the flirting still gets him flustered, but he will be fighting back with insults or bragging about himself; something like, “Ah, so you realize that I am much better than you think I was!” At some point he will give and just kiss you right then and there.

Aran is unfazed by your mean comments, knowing that you do the same thing with the others. Also because of this, he knows you don’t mean the flirting either. Unless you compliment and flirt with him genuinely, you’re not getting anywhere near romantic with him.

Kita is the same, except he will bluntly shut down your efforts.

Suna won’t be affected by the insults. Depending on his mood, he either flirts back - though extremely lazily - or just smiles cheekily. His face tells you that he’s accepting the flirting, but he just won’t flirt back. He will make the first move to making out if he thinks you’re taking too long.

Itachiyama

Kiyoomi just says no. That’s it. He does not give a single shit about you unless you do anything like touch him or make a move, which makes him annoyed at you. 

At first, Komori tries to fight back your insults with positivity. When you don’t stop, he insults you, and he means it sincerely. After that, he realizes you don’t actually put any weight behind your mean comments. At that point, you make fun of each other with no problem. 

He’s not affected by your insults, only pretending that he is by saying “Meanie!”

The first time you did this, he acted dejected to see what you’d do. He did not expect you to start flirting with him, but boy, did he enjoy it.

From then on, your friendship was full of flirting and making fun of each other.

Johzenji

Terushima is basically the only Johzenji member we really know, so here we go

The insults will hurt his ego. He tries to insult you back - they’re horrible insults - and use his captain status as a way to get you to stop but you certainly won’t. When he’s absolutely done, he’ll go sulk in a corner, which is a great opportunity to kabedon and start flirting.

He’ll be surprised (with his dumb himbo brain and all) but since he lives off of flirting, he’ll flirt back and completely forget about the insulting earlier.

Tongue piercing makes making out much better

Karasuno

Chaos.

Daichi tries to stop you, no matter what, even if he’s the victim. He’s not affected by your insults, like Iwa and Akaashi, unless they’re personal. Even then, he’s realized that you don’t mean them. Flirting does fluster him, though it doesn’t build up sexual tension unless your friendship already had sexual tension without the flirting.

The next groups count on the fact that they’re not the victim.

There’s the ones that try to stop you, that is if they’re not the victim: Asahi, Nishinoya, Tanaka, Ennoshita, and Hinata.

Then there’s the ones that sit back and relax, probably with popcorn: Sugawara (he ‘tries’ to stop you but he only says “Hey, stop!” really weakly) and Tsukishima (he probably joins along with Suga) The others give them side-eye, cause dude, they’re literally insulting your teammate, what the heck! And then they point out that you don’t mean it.

Finally, there’s the ones that want to interfere but are just too shy to interfere or they just think it’s not their place to do so: Yamaguchi, Narita, and Kinoshita. Yams cause Tsukki is literally acting as if this were a show and Narita and Kinoshita because they’re both awkward babies.

Kageyama is just unfazed, as if this were a normal thing.

But then in 2021 when episodes 190-191 came out that focused primarily on Kawaki and Sumire, SUDDENLY having only one interaction was enough, SUDDENLY them arguing and not getting along for most of the episode was ok, SUDDENLY opening up about her personal history with her father was meaningful and significant, SUDDENLY their conversations werent just about Boruto and Naruto [which by their logic IS all they talked about]

After only TWO EPISODES of interaction between them, yes Im 100% accusing BoruSara because I have more than enough evidence to support it because thats how shameless they are they dont even try to hide it, after just 2 episodes the BoruSara jumped on the KawaSumi ship and started saying it was the definitive endgame along with BoruSara

These same people were once on the MitsuSumi and KawaHima train, do you really find it a coincidence they suddenly jumped onto KawaSumi when they only had 2 episodes of hostile interaction that has never been brought up or referenced ever again? those episodes have been treated largely as filler that literally had no impact on Kawaki whatsoever, whereas Sarada's interactions with him did.

You dont find it strange how quickly they switched up? wondering why that is? its simple, the BoruSara fandom, a very large majority of it, want to protect BoruSara at any cost, they tried it with MitsuSumi but that ship was dead on arrival, they then tried with KawaHima and pushed that for a while, but then they saw the golden opportunity to kill 2 birds with one stone thanks to SPs bullshit of including something that wasnt in the manga and completely contradicts it.

I wont even go into the manga scenes between them because there IS none, Sumire is iliterally a bystander while the rest of the plot is just happening all around her, shes not a part of the plot shes WATCHING the plot. She's not Kawaki's nurse like fools try to say, shes literally KATASUKE'S ASSISTANT, Kawaki's ACTUAL nurse is Katasuke and Amado, Sumire just assists them and barely that since all we've seen her do is administer needles, thats it.

When the KawaSara fandom were excited about actual moments and development between them, Sarada reaching out to Kawaki after he had a ptsd episode, becoming his first friend, helping him to train, watching him training, comforting him when he was distraught over Naruto, opening up to him about something so personal to her that shes never told anyone else, working together to defeat Boro, Kawaki supporting her being captain over Boruto, risking his life and relying on Sarada to find the core, Sarada saving Kawaki from Boro, Sarada including Kawaki as a member of Team 7, Kawaki being grateful to Sarada for helping to save Naruto, both sharing the same idolization and admiration for Naruto, Sarada buying Kawaki flowers.

All of these meaningful moments and development of them as friends, nobody even was saying it was romantic, we just were admiring their friendship and potential to become more in the future.

What did they tell us? that we were reaching, those moments meant nothing, they hate eachother, Kawaki doesnt care about her, Sarada doesnt care about him, KawaSara is a crackship, it'll never happen theres been zero development and interaction.

Yet guess which one got all the praise and called proof that their soulmates and destined to be endgame?

To whom it may concern,

I’m certain that no one will read this and that if they do it will be far into the future and make little sense to whoever reads it. That doesn’t bother me now because tomorrow it all ends for me and with no outside contact I find myself needing to speak to someone, anyone, and get it all off my chest. So to anyone who comes across this I’d just like to begin by apologizing for the atrocities I’ve committed against my fellow man and against my government.

You see I was born before the war in a simpler time and I suppose that my upbringing, what little I had at least, was to blame. I blame my upbringing but I do so without using that as an excuse. I was born in Western Kentucky in ‘94 (1994 that is) to a single mother whose obsession with booze meant that I would spend my childhood out on the streets learning everything the hard way. It could always have been worse: I could have turned to drugs or gangs instead of the computer.

Either way to make a long story short the kids I hung out with after school were what you’d call “hackers.” Not the Guy Fawkes mask wearing type (if you even get the reference) but the kids who could “root” your playstation for you and put pirated games on it. Because of them I got pretty good and computer science was my obvious profession of choice upon turning 18. Hardest four years of my life up until I got put in here but I finished it and moved out West to find work at what they called “Silicon Valley.”

I ended up working for a company whose name I’ll keep to myself (not that they’re still around anyway) and did so for six or seven years before the war. Hell I even managed to get a pretty nice house with a picket fence and everything. But when the tensions rose and war seemed inevitable everything changed.

We all knew the foreign policy of the last few administrations had been blunder after blunder but when our boys went off to war in Asia it was initially just against one nation and we had the coalition. Wasn’t long until everyone seemed to become our enemy in battle. Nations that we’d been allied with for decades they said were killing our men and the draft was imposed. That’s when it all changed. I was already older than 25 and my job was in data science so I didn’t have to go fight but I saw some of the people coming back and I was, am, just so sorry for them. That’s why I did what I did that was all. But they’re right a crime is a crime.

Anyway I started “working over” every night once the rationing began since I didn’t have much to do at home and could use the companies internet to monitor the goings on overseas. I don’t know why I guess I just like the whole “great game” world news type stuff and I also saw so many people coming back I always thought the war was ending any day. My mistake was not knowing that after the Peace Act was passed my company was one of many that were rolled into the DoD and so the whole time I was being monitored by NSA guys.

I started doing the usual info gathering stuff. I would take on of the last known battles and look for towns around it then lookup newspapers from those towns. I thought this would be all I needed to do to get news from the front and there was so little being played for us here at home. Messed up thing is I never read nothing about no battles in Iran or Japan and I even wrote programs to crawl whole regions worth of newspapers and I found plenty of battles but none involving the US in either of those countries.

So I thought this has to be an error or those countries gotta be covering the war news somewhere else. Around that time I stopped being able to connect to the servers outside America and I assumed it was something the company had done so I started using a system of proxy servers to connect to the outside world. It worked at first but since I still had nothing I started looking through Cameras and microphones but after awhile I still had nothing.

So I began putting together all the information I had into a single folder and I was gonna take it to a real journalist: someone who had an idea what to even look for or who to tell. That’s when the Blackcoats got me. Roughed me up pretty good too and at that time I had no idea what I’d even done or why just that I was in trouble something bad cause they through a black potato bag or something over my face.

After the beating they through handcuffs on me and I left in a what seemed like a bus. I know there were some other people in there with me because I could hear them yelling before loud slaps shut them up. I don’t know how to describe it it was the saddest and loneliest I’ve ever felt and then a heart dropping guilt just kinda sat there in the background. After what seemed like a whole day we arrived at some facility and I was brought to a cell and the bag taken off.

I asked the guy who put me in there as he was locking the door, “hey buddy what the hell is all this for?

He just told me to stay quiet and walked away. My cell faced one of the big white brick walls so I couldn’t see anybody else but I could hear a girl next me sobbing saying to let her go. I don’t know how long she was in there but I know after 5 minutes I heard some loud footsteps and that girl didn’t cry after that. The guard brought me a nasty plate of wet food just once the whole time I was in that cell and I swear it was two whole days.

When I finally did leave they placed another bag on my head, knocked the hell out of me again, and drug me down the hall to a bright room where they took the bag off again and chained me to a large metal chair with handcuffs. In front of me was a tall blonde lady in a black dress suit and a shorter mean looking man with red hair. The man stood up over me as I sat in the chair and pulled a baton off of his side

“Name and social?,” the lady asked in a monotone voice. I told her and the man gave me an unsatisfied look as if he wanted me to tell her a lie.

“Tomorrow you are being bussed to Florence Correctional Institution where you will wait out your final sentence.,” the lady said again monotone, “If you have any questions this is your one chance to ask them.”

As the lady pulled out a pen and prepared to I guess take note of what I asked the man grabbed my hair and told me to ask quickly. I was devastated and had a million questions but the only thing I could spit out was a crying, “Why?”

The man hit me and yelled out for me to be more specific so I asked, “Why am I going to prison? What have I done?”

The Lady gave a soft sigh and put her notepad back and pen back on the table. She signaled for the man to let up on my hair and after he took a step back she began, “did you know we are at war with thirty-seven nations at this time? That hundreds of your fellow citizens are dying every day?”

“I know there’s a war,” I said, “I didn’t know who all it was against.”

“Oh?,” she immediately responded and cut me off, “you seemed to be quite the detective when it comes to the matter how did you not know?”

“I don’t even know if there is a war I didn’t see-,” the man knocked me in the stomach with the baton and my head flew forward. He grabbed me by the hair again and the bastard smacked me in the face two or three times. The lady walked up stern as the man was hitting me and rose her voice. It wasn’t monotoned anymore that’s for sure.

“This!,” she yelled as she brought her mouth right next to my ear, “is why. You are a treasoninst liar who attempts to subvert the war effort by misinformation!”

“No!,” I cried out and the man slapped me again. I didn’t let it stopped me from screaming, “No that’s not it I just wanted to know. I just saw all the men coming back and was curious why so many seemed so rough compared to the wars of my youth. I just wanted to report on the war that’s all!”

“We have war reporters and official channels,” she screamed in my ear as the man beat me for a few more seconds, “we don’t need subversive news from the likes of you.”

The both backed off of me as I cried out that I was sorry and I didn’t know. I must have swore to every god I could think of that I wouldn’t do it again: that next time I’d know better. They were having none of it and they both walked out of the room as the bag was brought over my head yet again and I was dragged out into the hallway and back to a cell.

The next day I took that bus ride with my face covered. It took us three days to get there with me being beaten every now and then and the occasional screaming off some other poor soul who had done wrong. I won’t bore you with the details of the terrible things I suffered through over the last few years since I arrived but I did want to say that if the weekly needle therapy is still around I hope you never have to go through it. Once a week for the last few years I’ve been brought to a room where I talk about the crime I committed and other crimes like it except when I do these nurses stab needles into my side and inject some kind of reverse pain medicine in me and that’s the worst thing I’ve ever felt.

Now I know it’s taken me awhile to get here but the whole reason I decided to write this was what happened yesterday. I had just came back from the daily hour I get outside the cell when the door opened and a man with a bible came in. He was the preacher see and everyone is given one last visit before you know what. He walked up and put his hand on my shoulder.

“If you wish to repent you can do it now son.,” he said in a gently voice and looked at me. You can imagine I apologized for everything I’d ever done and when I finished the preacher went on.

“I’m sure you are,” he said as he stepped back and looked up at the one small window at the top of the cell, “I know it doesn’t mean much to you now but since it’s almost over we figured we would give you the satisfaction of knowing that you’ve helped the world just a little bit.”

I looked up at him with tears in my face and said, “H-how? What do you mean?”

He gave a large smile and spoke, “The Administration has been looking for a way to rehabilitate vile prisoners in an efficient and reproducible way. You’ve been part of a test to perfect this method and I’d say are living proof that it works. Murderers, rapist and dissidents all can be churned back into productive citizens in a few years. Once the post-therapy kinks are worked out of course: but you’ll not have to worry about that.”

I was dumbfounded. Part of me wanted to scream at him but as soon as the anger came a pain hit my lower gut and a fear like that of child seeing monsters in the dark came over me. Anxiety overwhelmed me and I looked at the man, who still smiled, and with a mouthful of choking tears I cried, “G-glad I could help. So there’s no death penalty anymore? You just let people go?”

“Yes that’s correct.,” he said as he walked closer to me yet again, “well except for you and the other test subjects. You’ll understand that having people around who remember before the treatment will be a bit of a problem going forward. We can’t allow you to even unconsciously spewing such conspiracy theories as the one you were locked up for lying about.”

I did, and do, understand what the preacher meant. The state has to uphold unity in the people and I was planning to spread disinformation or at least to spread information I didn’t know was correct. I only wrote this letter for people in the future to find because they’ll wanna know how it happend. How the world became so much better as a new type of society emerged from the victor of that awful war.

Before I don’t think I would have been able to look death in the eyes without that odd guilt one gets when imagining the world without them. Today I know I leave to give a better world to the children of honorable citizens and to prevent men like me from existing. I think, though I don’t know for sure, that given the chance I’d have killed myself all those years ago even before the Lady in Black and the Red Haired man beat me. If they’d have just told me it was for the good of society.

I swear I’m tired of talking to men. I’m also tired of people telling me “oh you’ll find the right one one day”. I’m a very patient person and I’m trying not to rush God. I just need for them to start acting like adults. I am TIRED of talking to people and they don’t know how to communicate, deal with their feelings, or act like they care. I’m not saying that I’m the best at certain things either. But the shits irritating. I’m ranting like a mf.

Sidenote: I’ve been talking to this dude a little bit over three months and we’ve been hanging out quite a bit. We met through friends. And out of nowhere he just ghosts me without an explanation. He watched my snaps and I texted him seeing how he was doing but he didn’t text me back. He was active on IG later that night too. What makes things worse is he’s friends with my friend so I have to see him. This is frustrating because it was obvious that we liked each other and he just shut down. There were a few things that made me hesitant to talk to him because he’s extremely nonchalant. He’s been hurt (which is quite evident), so have it and you don’t see me acting like I can’t show any emotion. That’s not even an excuse. The number one mistake people make is comparing who hurt them to a new person they’re talking to.

My best friends say that I put all my eggs in one basket and this is a perfect example of how I did so. But I guess I expected too much out of him when he was not my man. We didn’t even do nothing on a relationship level but were just chilling. I didn’t mind it until he started acting flake. Ive heard all types of opinions on his actions.

It’s quite obvious that I like this person a lot. I’m trying to talk to new people but I have no interest in talking to anybody. This one mentally drained me. Now let’s begin the stages of relationship/situation grief 😂😂

In all the years he has spent in korea if you were to ask him what was the biggest gain from moving and working abroad, till this day he believes that it’s meeting his members. he cherishes all the time they’ve spent together and he knows that he’s curated some irreplaceable memories with them. In the future, no matter what he’ll continue to protect them all and pentagon as a whole. um.... let me fucking shit my pants and go.

Back in April I was driving and a lady tried switching lanes and struck my vehicle. I immediately went to an auto body shop and got an estimate for the damage, they took photos and everything. A very close friend of mine received a call from his auto insurer yesterday regarding a 3rd party claim against him. According to the 3rd party, my friend hit their parked car (which was parked on the curb in front of their home), then parked his own car, went up to their house, rang their doorbell and exchanged insurance information. The 3rd party claims that this took place in a town that's more than 1 hour away from where we work and live. This allegedly happened 3 months ago. There are two major problems with this story: A- The alleged incident never happened. I carpool with my friend to and from work and was with him that night. B- The 3rd party has all of his insurance information. Could the insurance company have called the wrong person (i.e. gotten policy numbers mixed-up while processing the claim)? Actually a few questions. Which magic money fairy will appear to bestow money upon those who couldn't afford insurance before the mandate to allow them to afford it after the mandate? The Obama administration has already granted enough exemptions that the whole concept is pretty well doomed. Is there another magic money fairy that will appear and make up for all the exemptions they've already given? If your old enough to remember when your state made auto insurance mandatory how many fold did your auto insurance go up in the next five years. Mine went up %350 after insurance became mandatory. In light of this how would you not expect health insurance costs to do the same. Hasn't Obama essentially created a monopoly and forced American citizens to throw their money at health insurance. Given that half or more of the cost of seeing a doc IS insurance itself. Wouldn't LESS insurance be the answer not more insurance? You go to a clinic that accepts no form of insurance and you are paying only slightly more than folks pay in co-pay. Then your done. The insured usually gets a bill for at least part of the visit that's not covered and on top of that they have their premium deducted. For most people insurance is a losing proposition. Insurance companies being for profit institutions will go out of business if they don't make a profit. As such mandatory health insurance means you will certainly pay more for health care than if you pay out of pocket. The discounts given to insurance companies do not make up for the overhead costs that insurance companies force providers to go through. Nor do they make up for the no pays and slow pays so common from insurance companies. As such one sure way to raise the cost of health care in the US is to require insurance. If you got more out of it than you put in the insurance companies would go broke. Insurance companies regularly restrict activities and or penalize people for engaging in what they consider high risk activities. Athletes are especially restricted. Having a monopoly why would they not do the same for everyone? Snowboarders, Smokers, bungee jumping, riding a motorcycle all dangerous activities already prohibited by many insurance policies. How do you propose to prevent insurance companies from becoming lawmakers using collusion which they openly engage in already to prohibit activities? Before Obamacare if you didn't like it you just did without insurance. Insurance companies have had to be conservative with what they mandate and prohibit because of that choice. With that choice gone now what? Insurance companies have regularly engaged in activities to the detriment of a patients welfare in the past. HMOs especially forced Docs not only to give patients substandard but cheaper care they have gone as far as prohibiting doctors from letting you know that you cannot receive the normal standard of care because of restrictions by your insurance. The unprecedented power handed insurance execs by Obamacare will clearly change how medicine is practiced in the US and that doesn't worry you? If everybody has insurance then insurance companies will dictate to Docs what they can and cannot do as they do if Docs participate in HMO and even some PPO programs. The idea that we MUST purchase a product, doesn't that bother you? Today it's health insurance. Tomorrow maybe it's socks. How can the Gov FORCE you to buy anything? Don't hand me the auto insurance scam. Mandatory auto insurance hasn't significantly reduced accidents, hasn't reduced losses to uninsured drivers. It has made insurance far more expensive for all. It does violate a basic principle of individual sovereignty that is supposed to be a key component of any free society. What will they make us buy next? In 20 years will gov mandated expenses consume the entire budget of the average American? How do you stop such a beast once it starts rolling? Millions of Americans will lose everything they have because of Obamacare. They will make just a little too much to be exempted or the time/effort to get an exemption will be impossible given their work schedule or they will have a valid exemption or be rejected for invalid reasons and unfairly prosecuted. Sure they might eventually get it straitened out but not before it gets them tossed in jail. Literally millions will be left homeless by this law in the first 5 years. Doesn't that bother you?""

Auto insurance with eSurance. Are they good?

I received very good quote from eSurance on my 2 vehicles. My friends told me that sometimes insurance companies (especially those less expensive) can drop their clients after claim, which results in higher rate later on. Does anybody have any experiance with Esurance and their claim department. I can save a lot of money by switching to Esurance but if that's going to get me in trouble I'd rather stay with my currant provider and pay them more. Anybody experianced droping by the auto insurance company? Esurance have a lot of commercials on TV and radio but does that make them good? Any suggestions? Please give me any answers. Thank you!""

How can you get dental insurance when you can't afford dental insurance?

My husband and I have health coverage, but it doesn't include dental insurance. So we have to pay our dental bills out of pocket. That was okay until I started needed expensive procedures, like root canals and crowns. Last year we paid for a root canal ($1000) and this year we paid for a root canal ($1100) and both of those teeth still need crowns (which will cost $1000 apiece). Since we were still paying the bills on my root canals I put off having the crowns done until those bills were clear. Now today my tooth broke so I'm going to have to have that crown done.    Is there ANY way to escape this? I feel like I'll lose my teeth just because I'm not lucky enough to be rich. Do you know of any kind of affordable dental insurance that will take care of procedures like root canals or crowns or oral surgery? (My dentist wants me to have THAT done too for an impacted wisdom tooth.)    I want a healthy mouth. But I can't afford it. Is there anyone that helps people like me?    Thank you.    Nita
