what do you think of the sims update where you can tell the sim’s story in cas to get random traits etc? ngl i rly dont like it and idk the sims is just kinda... not as fun as it used to be an im sad so ive taken to playing minecraft again lmfao

i haven’t tried it out yet because i never do gameplay anyway so traits don’t matter to me at all, but i do think it’s a step in the right direction towards better stories/deeper gameplay. i never played sims 2 (i used to watch my friend play it but i hardly remember how it worked), so all i can compare ts4 to is ts3. i have super fond memories of ts3 but when i go back and play it now.... the sims are lifeless and have no personality in my opinion :/ but then again, i was 13 when i last played ts3 for real, so maybe i’ve just outgrown gameplay in general? i’m not sure. all i know is that i used to really enjoy gameplay in ts3 and even in ts4 for a long long time, but now whenever i try it just feels empty :( but i don’t think that’s the game’s fault in my case, i think i’m just a different person now.. but that makes me really sad tbh :(
