MOON 1:

Elmpaw, knowing that the Clan needs the role filled, volunteers to become QuietClan's medicine cat. He has some memories of how Brookear, the previous medicine cat, treated his scrapes and colds, but he's unsure if it's enough. Greenpaw assures him that StarClan will guide him.

Limekit catches Greenpaw trying to sneak out of camp. She confides in him that she's still Greenpaw, she needs to spy on the other Clans to learn how to be a warrior, never mind how to be a deputy or leader. Limekit doesn't understand why she would hide this and tells the others. Greenpaw nervously shuffles her paws when she's confronted upon her return. Limekit wonders if she's mad at him when she won't meet his gaze.

Just like her namesake, Limekit can be described as zesty with a hint of sweetness and a bitter aftertaste! She's always looked up to Foxpelt, even when he was an apprentice, and she tries to emulate the bravery he shows in scary situations. Her father was killed by rogues, and whenever she'd have a nightmare, she'd find herself at Foxpelt's side, since her other father became incredibly distant and cold after the incident. She had nothing to lose coming to this new clan, and maybe one day she'll be the respected deputy of Lightclan, just like Foxpelt!

Finally got a bit of art for my Clangen nonsense done! Here's the founders of Tulipclan (they're not very detailed in this because I'm never going to draw a ton of detailed cats at once. As of writing this there are currently 41 cats in this clan. Do you understand now)

Flameshade was supposedly mentored by Treestripe, but I suppose that doesn't really matter because she's already a warrior.

Also Sycamorethrift immediately broke the Warrior Code. It didn't say what he did or who caught him, but since this is the beginning of the game my headcanon is that he's a former loner and he broke one of the smaller rules like making sure kits and (currently nonexistent) elders are fed before eating

Anyways my random starting Starclan cat is named Waterrump. I'm not going to draw them but I feel like this is something you should know

I'll probably be skipping some moons where nothing much happens, but if someone gets a new name/joins the clan/is born/dies/retires then I'll make a little drawing for that

As Wisteriapaw has finished their mediator training, Loudstar gives them the name Wisteriaflare after their dignity, welcoming them as the Clan's new mediator.

Even though they're excited to finally be made an apprentice, it takes a bit of coazing by Flitchest for Fennelkit to step forward for their ceremony. Flitchest watches in pride as they're named Fennelpaw and touch noses with Pansy

Roarkit loudly complains as Flitchest pulls them over to quickly groom their pelt. They manage to wriggle away and scurry off to the front of the crowd for their ceremony, where they are renamed to Roarpaw and apprenticed to Lakehusk

Beampaw purrs so hard that they're shaking as they touch noses with Pikepounce

Even though they are excited to finally be made an apprentice, ti takes a bit of coaxing by Fadedflake for Molekit to step forward for their ceremony. Fadedflake watches in pride as they're named Molepaw and touch noses with Thrushwhistle

Timberkit loudly complains as Fadedflake pulls them over to quickly groom their pelt. They manage to wriggle away and scurry off to the front of the crowd for their ceremony, where they are renamed to Timberpaw and apprenticed to Shalenibble

Bluebellpaw sits excitedly beside Frogcry as the meeting ends, and hopes they'll be doing something exciting like battle training first. Their claws are itching to tear at something.

Flippaw and Pinepaw went out herb-gathering together... I'm not surprised, out of the kits of my first litter, Flippaw was always close to Pinepaw. Pinepaw's her favorite, after all.

Scratchspring, Limepaw, and Lemonpaw brought back another kittypet, his name is Red. And he decided to become something called... A meditator?

Limepaw is now Limecress... I also received a omen that Pinesong is to be the new leader.

Scratchspring brought two kits back to camp... The she-kit is named Pondkit and her brother is named Lakekit. He also refused to talk about their origin.

Hey I'm Moony (she/her) and this is my Clangen side blog for the all kit/youth challenge. Main is @moonlessdusk, you can find all my other side blogs from there. I try to post as often as I can but it might get patchier towards Spring.

Run Rules:

As part of the challenge, we've started the run with Greenpaw, Elmpaw, Limekit, and Pondkit. The goal is for the Clan to survive to 100 moons. The only real rule I impose outside of the settings is that we must proceed during every patrol.

Settings:

Mass extinctions are turned on to try to limit the amount of cats to one page, also for the story potential. Same sex breeding is turned off also to reduce growth rate but they can still adopt. Allowing cats to have kits with cats that aren't their mate is turned on for storytelling.

*Allowing cats to have kits with an unknown second parent will be toggled on and off. My rule with this setting is that it will be on until a cat is pregnant or brings their litter to the Clan. The setting will be turned off until the kits either all die or are apprenticed.

Asks are open! You can direct an ask to me about the creation of the Clan or ask a question for one of the QuietClan cats. Asks for the cats are only open to the living as of the most recent posting, so get your burning questions out there quickly, just in case...
