🔥AVIS🔥J'ai lu la version papier du webtoon de WHITE BLOOD, le premier tome, de Lim Lina paru chez @kazoku_sikku 💖 La maison d'édition a fait un excellent travail et j'aime beaucoup le rendu en papier pour une histoire que je redécouvre avec bonheur.

Avec ce titre, les éditions Michel Lafon lancent leur collection Sikku dédiée aux webtoons et autant vous le dire, je suis folle de joie ! Et encore plus après avoir pu lire le premier tome de White Blood que j’ai suivi avec plaisir sur la plateforme Webtoon de Naver. 430. Hunt (Lee Jung-jae) Dél-Korea Kitartóan próbálkozom, de a koreai blockbusterek egyáltalán nem jönnek be nekem. A rendező jó sok kavarást próbált előadni, a kelleténél nagyobb tempóban, ami szerintem a feszültség rovására ment. Volt itt belügyes-külügyes kommandók rivalizálása, észak- és dél-koreai ügynökök harca (amerikai, japán, és thaiföldi kiküldetés közben), diáklázadás, puccs, mindezt időben előre-hátra lépegetve. Mondjuk ez az én hibám is, de kellett vagy fél óra, mire meg tudtam különböztetni a főbb arcokat. Kár, hogy ebben a filmben is mindenki hatalmas tuskó volt. Nem is tudom, hogy az egész ország ilyen faragatlan, vagy csak a forgatókönyv-írónak ennyire futotta. Nekem nem ez jelenti a szórakozást.

431. Special Delivery (Dae-min Park) Dél-Korea Jelentem, ebben is túltolták az erőszak-métert, de szerencsére nem ez volt a film lényege. Zenében kicsit a Drive-ra hajazott, képi világában a Baby Driverre, sztoriban meg valamelyik Transporter (vagy Taxi?) filmre, csak többnyire hétköznapi autókkal.

432. Spring Tide (Tian-yi Yang) Kína Tian-yi, avagy Lina Yang a Longing for the Rain (#305) után egy újabb nő-központú történettel jelentkezett, és ezúttal sem csalódtam benne. Három generáció egy fedél alatt. Három nehéz sors, három nehéz egyéniség, három fantasztikus színésznő. Az elején az újságíró anyuka volt központban, aztán kiderült, hogy a lányát a nagymama neveli, és tapintani lehetett köztük a feszültséget a levegőben. A nagyi már az első mondatával jól bemutatkozott, és ahogy egyre több jelenetet kapott, szépen kibontakozott az elcseszett élete, ami lassan az unokáét is elkezdte mérgezni. Az ablakon kibámulós nagymonológért a rendezőnek és a színésznőnek is díjeső járna!

433. Broker (Kore-eda Hirokazu) Dél-Korea A rendező alapján azt hittem, hogy japán, aztán mégsem. Kicsit döcögősen indult, második nekifutásra jobban ment (kb. a középső egy óra), de a vége nagy hülyeség volt. Amúgy a kritikusok meg a fesztiválok közönsége nagyon zabálják Kore-eda filmjeit, de nekem valahogy túl laposak. Ebben a két rendőrnő szájbarágós narrációja különösen irritáló volt (meg az egész történetszáluk felesleges volt). Közben látom, hogy kimaradt a naplómból az elcserélt gyerekekről szóló Like Father, Like Son (nem voltam elájulva tőle, de ennél azért jobb volt). Akkor legyen az a 434.

435. Joy Ride (Adele Lim) USA Ez egy nagy-nagy-nagy katyvasz volt, sztereotipikus bevándorló klisékkel, meg azok totális ellenpólusával, trágár humorral, ami kínai csajoknak főleg nem állt jól, és értelmezhetetlen történetvezetéssel. Ezen már az se ront ha elszpojlerezem, hogy az örökbefogadott kínai lányról kiderül, hogy koreai. Addigra megszoktam a nívótlan humort, és majdnem megsajnáltam őt. Az viszont nagy meglepetésként ért, hogy a filmben felcsendült Griff One Night című dala. Na, őt nagyon bírom!

436. Yanagawa (Lu Zhang) Kína Slow cinema, ami akár jó is lehetne, de itt csak értelmetlen félmondatokat hallunk. Azért összeáll belőlük valami szerelmi háromszög-féle, de nem hiteles, hogy az a lány mit kedvelt a két fiútestvér közül bármelyiken is, illetve húsz év után, hogyan veszi fel a fonalat szinte azonnal az öcsivel (egyébként nem ő volt az, akivel akkoriban járt). Fun fact: Yoko Ono a címben megnevezett városban született. Ezt a rendező fontosnak tartotta beleszőni a mesébe, pedig a város - vagyis "Japán Velencéje" - enélkül is éppen elég varázslatos díszletül szolgált.

The metaverse: a whole new world of private banking and wealth

A virtual universe with digital currencies and digital items for transactions, the metaverse represents a new frontier in banking.

Although it is still in its early stages, prominent banking and wealth management companies such as JPMorgan and Citigroup have launched virtual buildings for users to tour and explore.

However, a slew of safety issues has prevented significant progress in typical banking operations in the metaverse, with crypto scams continuing to raise concerns about the secure interoperability of private money.

HSBC Global Private Banking has entered one of the most recent financial crazes: the "metaverse." To capitalize on this potential, it has established a fund for Asian clients.

The word, coined by Neal Stephenson in his 1992 science fiction novel Snow Crash, refers to a network of 3D virtual worlds focused on social connection. It is altering industries ranging from marketing to working conditions. Aerospace flight, blockchain, e-gaming, remote employment, films, and retail are all impacted. Already, the worldwide work-from-home phenomena have turned aspects of fiction into hard facts. Online retail is also a significant driver, challenging traditional brick-and-mortar purchasing models.

The private bank has launched a discretion-managed portfolio for metaverse potential for the company's Asian private banking clientele alone. The Metaverse Discretionary Strategy, managed for HSBC by HSBC Asset Management, seeks to capitalize on global growth prospects stemming from the establishment of the metaverse ecosystem over the next decade. 

The portfolio is continuously monitored and concentrates on investing in businesses in the metaverse ecosystem, which is divided into five major segments: infrastructure, computing, virtualization, experience and discovery, and human interface. 

"While currently in its earliest stages of development, the metaverse ecosystem is rapidly evolving." We see many intriguing potentials in this field as organizations of various shapes and backgrounds migrate into the ecosystem.

Lina Lim, regional head of Discretionary and Funds, Investments & Wealth Solutions, Asia-Pacific, HSBC, stated that "a robust stock selection and investment process is critical to identifying future solution providers."

"The metaverse is seen by many as the next stage in the evolution of the internet," said Nicholas Dowell, portfolio manager, and TMT specialist at HSBC Asset Management in London, "with the effect it has on our daily lives expected to be as impactful as we saw in the early nineties."

"All of us expect a lot of growth in this augmented sector, which is expected to be worth $800 billion worldwide by 2024." As more and more investors seek to participate in a growing number of companies that serve critical roles in the metaverse ecosystem, we feel now is an excellent moment to investigate these investment opportunities."

According to the bank, the strategy is only available to HSBC's high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth professional investors and accredited investor clients in Asia.

Finally, the metaverse's future seems interesting, and its potential is virtually endless. Although the metaverse is still in its early phases, it is apparent that it will play an important role in the future of technology.
