Blood is thicker than water
Peter hated being out in the fresh air. He had hated working on the farm ever since he had had to help his grandparents muck out the barn during the summer vacation. Yes, there weren't many other ways to earn money here in Lincoln now. But Nebraska wasn't Peter's future either. He was very sure of that. His future would be somewhere in New York, Singapore or London. Somewhere where the big money was. That's where he wanted to go. And that was where he belonged.
The job at the local bank wasn't that glamorous yet. But it was the starting point. Working at the cash desk, processing loan applications, it was all just a prelude to the glittering world of investment banking and hedge funds. He was hardworking, he was smart and charming. And he looked incredibly good in a suit.
Tumblr media
When the board called him into his office, Peter saw his big moment had come. He adjusted his tie knot, took a deep breath, knocked and entered the office of his top boss. "Peter, good to see you, have a seat!" Mr. Harrison greeted him. "I hear wonderful things from you. I thought it was long overdue to meet you in person." Peter had to make an effort to stay cool. "As you probably know, the head of our corporate client department is being replaced. And even though you're actually a bit young for a position as head of department, I've been advised to consider you." Strike, thought Peter. "However, I have a, shall we say, delicate task… But if you master it successfully, I have no doubts that you are the right man for the job." A few minutes later, Peter wished he had never started at the bank.
The farm he was on his way to belonged to his uncle Cleatus. It had once been his grandparents' farm. His mother's parents' farm. Not the one where he had had the humiliating experience in the cowshed. This was his father's parents' farm. Damn it, he thought to himself. I must have manure running through my veins. I come from a clan of cows. "Anyone home?" he called out as he arrived in the yard between the stables and the house. The farm looked run-down. He hadn't been here for a long time. Suddenly he heard someone loading a shotgun. "I'm not expecting visitors!" Peter heard a harsh voice. Peter turned around and grinned as friendly as he could. "Hi Uncle Cleatus! It's me, Peter" "Peter, damn it, why are you in disguise? You look like an asshole from the bank!" Peter gulped. This was going to be fun. His uncle invited him into the large kitchen. It was dirty and untidy. Peter saw the pile of unopened post. He took a deep breath, declined the offered beer and began: "Uncle Cleatus, I'm actually not here by choice. And let me get straight to the point: I'm one of those assholes from the bank…"
"Junior!" roared Cleatus. "Say goodbye to your cousin!" Peter looked down the barrel of the shotgun. It hadn't gone as well as he had hoped when he told his uncle that the farm would have to be foreclosed. "Junior, now!". The floor shook as Junior approached the kitchen. It was beginning to stink. Slurry, sweat… And then his cousin Junior stood in front of him. A colossus! He took him in his arms and almost crushed him. "Throw him out, the asshole!" Peter lost the ground beneath his feet. Junior carried him out into the yard. And threw him into the mud. He lay in mud, cow shit and manure. Peter picked himself up and turned around. He wanted to protest. But one look in Junior's direction was enough. And he took off in the direction of the town.
Tumblr media
Something was strange… Peter should actually feel humiliated and bad. But he was fine. The dirt on his ruined suit was drying. He was sweating in the warm air. He whistled a song. He was doing well. Of course, his uncle's farm hadn't been saved, but at least he hadn't put his own family out on the street. Shit, that wouldn't be worth a promotion on this planet either. He was beginning to develop pride in his grandparents' accomplishments working this land. They had made this country great. That made him very proud. And he was growing, without realizing it, in his suit.
Tumblr media
He had parked his car outside on the country road so as not to get it dirty on the muddy dirt track. Peter now stripped out of his dirty suit on the road and sat in the car half naked so as not to soil the seats. The suit lay crusty, but neatly folded, in the trunk. It wasn't the end of the day yet. He had to report to the bank. He needed something to wear. And, given the way he smelled of cow shit and manure, a shower, too. Peter scratched his chin to think. His chin was scratchy. Very scratchy. And his upper arm looked kind of powerful. His cock in his boxer shorts was getting hard. Shit, what was he going to do now? Fortunately, he remembered the workwear store at the entrance to the town. He would find something to wear there. Maybe nothing from an Italian designer. But it would certainly be better than underwear.
The waitress in the store looked as if she was always serving men in their underwear. Peter mumbled that he needed something for the office. The waitress nodded understandingly and said that a guy who was built like him was certainly not the kind of person who would fit into an office. Peter didn't understand, but nodded. "Go into the changing room, I'll bring you something," said the sales assistant. Peter did as he was told. He looked in the mirror. Yes, he was a man who, in his underwear, you would probably expect to see as a construction worker or tree cutter. Arms like his didn't really fit into a shirt. "You look like you have an appointment at the bank," said the sales clerk. "You'll want to look respectable." Peter actually wanted to say that he worked at the bank. But somehow he had the feeling that wasn't true… "Yes, I have a farm to save," Peter replied. "Shit situation," replied the salesman. "Bankers are all vultures!"
When Peter arrived back at his small office, where he was a corporate account manager, he took a deep breath. Yes, he too was a vulture. But not as bad as the money-grabbing careerists up there. He was a passionate banker. He wanted to help people. His people. Before he called Mr. Harrison, he took a deep breath. His huge chest rose and fell. He reeked of sweat in his cheap polyester shirt. And after his visit to the farm, he probably had cow shit in the treads of his rough boots. But he just wasn't the type for penny loafers and Egyptian cotton shirts. He was a guy from Nebraska. Even if he did work in a bank.
Tumblr media
The conversation with Mr. Harrison went as Peter had expected. You couldn't expect sympathy from a man like that. And Peter didn't want to work with a man like that again. He had saved hard. His dream had been to buy a house in the suburbs soon. But now there were more important things. One word followed the next in the phone call with Mr. Harrison. Until Peter plucked up his courage and told the vulture to stick his money up his ass. Peter would pay off his uncle's debts. And then turn his back on the bank. He threw his tie in the garbage can. And unbuttoned his shirt. Free! Free at last!
Junior was quite a challenge. His cousin was a few weeks older than him. And he hadn't been softened up by working in the city. But Pete had been living on the farm for a few weeks now and, thanks to his cooperation, there was a silver lining. The auction was off the table. Everything would be fine. And at the next wrestling match in the cowshed, Junior would lose and Pete would win. And the winner would get his cock sucked by the loser. Life on the farm was wonderful!

What Bank is Cash App and How Does It Work: Cash App Direct Deposit Bank
Tumblr media
If you are doubtful about the Cash App bank name, you have landed at the right place. Here we are going to discuss the Cash App bank name and how it works. Does Cash App work with one or two banks? Well, you are going to get all the answers related to the Cash App bank. Like other financial apps, Cash App has tied up with banks to manage its direct deposits and Cash App cards. Further, Cash App is a bank alternative for those who are not having traditional bank accounts. It provides banking services and debit cards (Called Cash Card) through its bank partners. So, without any further ado, let’s know ‘what bank is Cash App and how does it work?’ and, how to find the bank name.
What bank is Cash App?
Firstly, you should know that Cash App is not a bank, it is a bank alternative for those who are not having traditional bank accounts. Cash App is a safe and secured financial services platform with millions of active users in the US and UK as it is only available in these two places at this time. As mentioned earlier, it is not a bank account, it is a financial app that offers banking services and issues debit cards through its bank partners. So, it is an app that works in association with two different banks. It works with Sutton Bank and Lincoln Savings Bank to manage its financial services.
However, a single Cash App user can’t have two banks, here you can find out exactly which one it is in your case.
How to find what bank is Cash App?
It is quite easy to find the name of your Cash App bank. To do so you should open the Cash App on your mobile device. Then tap the routing number and account number. You can see them below your balance in the banking tab (“$”).
How does Sutton bank manage Cash App?
You can find the bank name by using routing number and account number. You can find the bank name by googling the routing number and account number that you can locate below the balance tab ($). Once you are clear about your Cash App bank, it is easy to know its working. Suton bank is the main bank of Cash App that issues Cash Cards to Cash App users and manages its Cash Cards functions and transactions. Sutton bank works as a trading partner of the Cash App and handles all the tasks associated with the Cash App debit cards.
Does Sutton bank manage Cash App direct deposit?
As mentioned above, Cash App works with two banks- Sutton bank and Lincoln Savings Bank. Here the Sutton Bank issues and manages card-related activities on the other hand, Lincoln Savings Bank regulates Cash App online financial transactions and direct deposits.
Except for issuing a Cash App card, it has no relation with Cash App.
When a Cash App user applies for Cash Card, Cash App forwards the application to Sutton. Then Sutton bank representatives go through the application, check out all the formalities and verify the document sent for Cash Card. If everything is ok with your documents, they issue a Cash Card which gets delivered to you within 8-10 days.
Can you log in from the Cash App into Sutton Bank?
No, you can’t login into Sutton bank with your Cash App as Sutton bank doesn’t support Cash App. Sutton Bank issues Cash App Cards to the users of Cash App and no other association.
Can I find the address of Sutton bank Cash App for direct deposit?
There is no address for Sutton Bank Cash App direct deposit as Sutton Bank does not deal with Cash App users in a direct way. Sutton Bank is only responsible for issuing Cash App Cards and handles Cash Card related services.
Is Cash App a Sutton Bank?
No, Cash App is not a Sutton Bank but it is a financial platform that works with two banks - Sutton Bank (issues Cash Card) and Lincoln Savings Bank ( for making direct deposit).
How to enable direct deposit on Cash App
With Cash App direct deposit, you not only paychecks but also make other payments including your tax returns. If you want to enable direct deposit, you have to first locate your routing and account number on the Cash App.
After enabling direct deposit, you succeed in increasing the direct deposit limit and you’re able to receive up to $25,000 per direct deposit and up to $50,000 in a day.
If you succeed in enabling direct deposits, these are available in your account even up to two days earlier than most banks. However, it might take some extra time if you are making the direct deposit for the first time.
Cash App works with two banks and each bank has its specific roles and duties to perform. For instance, we have discussed above the role of Sutton Bank. However, you are not very familiar with Lincoln Savings accounts. Lincoln Savings Bank manages Cash App direct deposits.
How to find the bank address with routing number
It is quite easy to find the bank address with the routing number. You can use the US Routing number checker to validate and find bank addresses based on its database. With Routing number checker, you find Bank name and its address including (city, state, and ZIP) and phone number. So, you can find your Cash App bank name and address with the routing number available under the balance tab in the Cash App.
Do you need a Cash App bank to pay bills with Cash App?
While you pay bills you need to use your account and routing number. If you are proceeding to pay bills using your account and routing number, follow these steps:
Go to the home screen of the app and tap the “Banking tab”.
Now, select the “Deposits &Transfers”.
Then, copy the account details.
Paste the detail while setting up bill pay when prompted for a bank account.
Finally, we believe the above information is helpful for you. Cash App is not a proper bank but is a financial platform and a bank alternative for those who are not having a traditional bank account. Cash App works with two banks as mentioned above- Sutton bank and Lincoln Bank.

The last day of the Faire, the sky was overcast, with rumbles of thunder in the far distance. As Mayor Nat stepped up to the podium set up in front of town hall, a small crowd gathered to hear the announcement. She proceeded to declare Pandora Flowers as the winner of the costume contest, and withdrew the sword to present to the winner of the tournament, Morgan Vovk.
Before she could, though, Quinn Buckley from the commune ran up on stage and grabbed the microphone from the podium.
“Listen! You have to listen. This, all of this, is because of a being far greater than us! It sent the creatures from the woods to test us! To separate the weak from the strong. It judges us because it wants us to be ready before it reveals itself. We have to listen! We have to—“
Sheriff Henry attempted to take the microphone from her, but she struggled against him, still shouting into the microphone.
“It’s real! I felt its presence! Those that listen will be saved!”
Thunder rumbled, closer than before, much closer. A loud crack of lightning illuminated the sky, blindingly bright. Beyond the clouds, briefly visible in that split second, loomed a shape, unrecognizable and massive, both bulbous and gangly. As quickly as it appeared it was gone, and what remained was the sizzling body of Tristan Wilde, struck by the lightning. The sky opened up, then, as thunder boomed directly above, and rain and hail pelted the town.
“It’s there! You all saw it! It’s real! We have to submit!” Quinn wailed, as Henry attempted to pull her off the stage. “I can prove it! I can walk amongst them untouched! I’ve been chosen! You can be chosen too!”
Her cries fell away in the deafening downpour, and those that had gathered scattered to find shelter in the nearest buildings. Whether or not they saw something or, if they did, if they believe what they saw, remains to be seen.
The storm raged on through the night, as the creatures wandered the streets unperturbed by the rain and hail. The lights of the town flickered and then, as lightning staggered across the sky, everything went dark.
(Those that ran to find shelter found themselves stuck for the night. Below you’ll find the (randomly selected) groups. You can choose for your characters to have seen the shape in the sky, to have not seen it, or to have seen it and not believe it.
Everyone can continue/finish their event threads, as all this took place on the final day of the Faire (the 29th). You may also time-jump threads, headcanon threads, or make new threads for the plot drop. The event officially ends on August 5th, at which time please do not make any more event starters, however you can continue all threads until completion.)

The banking needs of formerly enslaved black soldiers, spurred the incorporation of the Freedmen’s Savings and Trust Company in 1865. “This bank is just what the freedmen need, proclaimed Abraham Lincoln on March 3, 1865, as he signed the Freedman’s Bank Act and authorized the organization of a national bank for ex-slaves. Due, in part, to aggressive recruiting tactics, the number of ex-slave depositors grew rapidly from 1865-1870. Thirty-four branches were established in cities across the nation, including Atlanta, Charleston, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C. “Go in any forenoon, and the office is found full of Negroes depositing little sums of money, drawing little sums, or remitting to a distant part of the country where they have relatives to support or debts to discharge,†reported a Charleston journalist in 1867. And yet, thrifting and saving did not yield desired results. The dream of prosperity and abundance slowly spiraled into a nightmare of fraud, mismanagement, and discriminatory lending. In 1871, Congress authorized banks to provide business loans and mortgages. Paradoxically, such mortgages and loans were usually administered to whites at the expense of black depositors. Risky investments and lending patterns, coupled with cronyism and corruption at the level of upper management, slowly undermined the stability of the bank. According to Black Past, “By 1874, massive fraud among upper management and among the board of director had taken its toll on the bank. Moreover, economic instability brought upon by the Panic of 1873, coupled with the bank’s rapid expansion, proved disastrous.” The Freedmen’s Bank was officially closed on June 29, 1874. At the point of closing, 61,144 black depositors were robbed of the modern equivalent of $66 million. The failure of the bank left many black depositors and borrowers distrustful of the white banking community, especially since the Freedmen’s Bank was established and managed by white men. In subsequent years, the white banking community has imposed higher interest rates on black borrowers or simply rejected their applications #generationalwealth #theft #racialwealthgap #wealthgap https://www.instagram.com/p/ClYrhUyLnjW/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Nebraska Legislature Bills for the first session of 2023
Updated as of 3/25/2023
One of the main objectives of this blog will be to monitor the bills currently introduced and making their way through the legislature. Specifically, I will be keeping an eye on ‘good’ legislation that either reduces government authoritarianism or defends conservative values, bad legislation that advances far-left agendas and other legislation that may be suspicious or have generally bad ideas.
Out of the 800+ items of legislation they craped out this session, many of them aren’t named in a decent way or given a useful summary to help you understand what they do without reading the whole thing. This makes it very hard to comb through the whole mess it try to identify the legislation that might actually be worth reading and separate it out from the “heres a bill to correct a grammar error in that thing we wrote 50 years ago about regulating obscure banking transactions” bills.
Furthermore, it seems that while a few really great items of legislation have been introduced this session, the committee process is planning to mostly ignore them to instead advance completely ignorant and petty nonsense like “Pet Insurance” regulation. And the SJWs from Omaha and Lincoln have declared that they are going to filibuster EVERY bill that makes it to the floor for debate, not because they actually care about most of them, but just to slow the entire legislature down to a crawl so that nothing can get done. Any bill not marked as a “priority” probably has no chance to pass this session, and with many pointless ones (yes, including “Pet Insurance”) being marked as priority, there is a high chance that most of the good legislation won’t see the light of day.
Good/Conservative Legislation:
LB43 - “Require hearing officers and judges to interpret statutes and regulations to limit agency power and maximize individual liberty.” This could be a HUGE benefit, if it does what it claims it will do. Clarifying that the law should be interpreted to limit the power of unelected bureaucrats and give maximum consideration to individual liberties would greatly aid in battling nonsense like what we saw during the “pandemic” of the last few years. This may be the smartest piece of legislation proposed for the entire session. Status: Had a hearing on February 9th and now apparently being ignored. Not marked as a priority and therefore probably has no chance.
LB71 & LB374 - Two laws to protect the rights of parents and force public schools to make their teaching materials available to parents for review. Generally a good idea and would likely help to combat leftist indoctrination taking place in public schools... but my honest take is that this is still missing the point. The real solution is to get the government out of the business of “education” entirely by encouraging and empowering parents to homeschool and/or send their kids to private schools of their own choosing.   Status: 71 was marked as priority and advanced to the general file, so it has a small chance of success. 374 has not been touched in almost two months and is probably going to be ignored for the rest of the session.
LB143 - Eliminate daylight savings time. Short, simple and makes sense.  Status: Actually made it to the general file but is not marked as a priority and is thus probably going to be ignored.
LB177 - “My choice, My Student” Act. A school choice bill. Unlike the other items of education mentioned above, this one is a slightly better approach to the problem of public schools, while still being a few steps away from perfect. It would allow public funding to be used to pay for private schools, tutors, computers and other educational expenses. In other words, rather than public schools exclusively deciding where your tax dollars go, you get to decide what to do with at least some of it (but not all of it). Although some people are promoting this as helping homeschoolers, it doesn’t actually explicitly mention homeschooling, and thus doesn’t alter the existing laws about homeschooling in the state. The law also doesn’t fully defund public schools if parents withdraw their kids either, as it has language in it about “stabilizing” public school funding and still allowing public schools to demand more funding. So this still would not end public schools and only marginally help parents who are trying to get kids out of public schools.  Status: Had a hearing but nothing further accomplished. Not marked a priority and probably will be ignored from now on.
LB178 - Would require “display” of “the national motto” in public schools. The motto in question being “In God We Trust.” While this would be an obvious slap in the face to atheistic teachers and their leftist agendas, it would also undoubtedly cause a massive controversy and inevitable lawsuits from numerous activist groups. I don’t think this would pass and could easily be more trouble than it’s worth. As I said above, the solution is to get kids out of public schools entirely, not troll the teachers.  Status:  Had a hearing but nothing further accomplished. Not marked a priority and probably will be ignored from now on.
LB194 - “Second Amendment Protection Act.” It would prevent state and local law enforcement from aiding the federal government to enforce gun control laws/regulations. Keep in mind this doesn’t prevent federal law enforcement from still enforcing gun control, but without state and local authorities to assist them it would be much harder to do. A good first step, but we should be doing much more to distance ourselves from the federal government agenda. Status:  Actually made it to the general file but is not marked as a priority and is thus probably going to be ignored.
LB228 & LB230 - Voter ID. Good idea. Status: Had a hearing but nothing further accomplished. Not marked a priority and probably will be ignored from now on.
LB277 - “First Freedom Act.” That is to say, “first freedom” means the right to freedom of religion. This would provide a lot of broad protections for religious freedom and limit the power of the government to punish or censor people for their religious beliefs. No doubt it would be highly controversial and result in a vast array of activist causes claiming it is “racist” and “homophobic” in some way. It also specifically mentions allowing Native Americans to wear tribal religious items in public schools. The language of the bill is a bit weak and does still allow the government to get away with shady things if they cite a “compelling” reason... Status: Made it to the general file and has been marked a priority. So there is a small chance for success here.
LB371 - Ban children at drag shows.  Status: Had a hearing but nothing further accomplished. Not marked a priority and probably will be ignored from now on.
LB457 - Require video surveillance of vote counting in elections. Makes sense.  Status: Had a hearing but nothing further accomplished. Not marked a priority and probably will be ignored from now on.
LB574 - “Let Them Grow Act.” Restricts sex change surgeries on minors. Status: This bill has become the central battlefield for the session. The SJWs constantly rant and rave about it every day, even when debating completely unrelated issues. Republicans just barely managed to get it passed the first round of voting and may or may not have enough votes to get it all the way to the finish line. In response the SJWs have vowed to not only filibuster this bill each time it comes up for a vote, but filibuster ALL bills to slow the legislature down so much that they can’t pass anything.
LB575 - “Sports and Spaces Act” - Keep sports divided by gender and prevent “transgender” players from switching sides.  Status: It had a hearing a long time ago and has been marked a priority, but the committee has not allowed it to advance.
LB626 - Nebraska Heartbeat Act. Pro-life anti-abortion legislation similar to what other states have been launching in response to Roe being overturned. You can already tell democrats are SUPER MAD about it, as they have been spamming it with amendments and demands to “indefinitely postpone” it.  Status: Another major battlefield. It has been marked a priority and placed on the general file, but hasn’t made it to a floor debate yet.
LB636 - Prevents crazy left-wing efforts to ban natural gas and propane. Hank Hill would approve.  Status: Had a hearing on February 8th and now apparently being ignored. Not marked a priority and thus probably dead.
LB642 - Would require the Nebraska National Guard to allow soldiers who were kicked out for refusing to take COVID vaccines to reenlist. This is good, but I wish they would go one step further and also allow soldiers from other branches and states to join the Nebraska National Guard if they were kicked from their previous branch due to COVID mandates.  Status: Had a hearing but nothing further accomplished. Not marked a priority and probably will be ignored from now on.
LB730 - “Fair Access to Financial Services Act.” Prevents banks from punishing conservatives by closing their accounts and/or otherwise refusing to do business with them.  Status: Had a hearing but nothing further accomplished. Not marked a priority and probably will be ignored from now on. .
LB743 - “Investment Neutrality in Public Funds Act.” Opposes big corporations using social justice motives (particularly global warming propaganda) in their investment schemes.  Status: Had a hearing but nothing further accomplished. Not marked a priority and probably will be ignored from now on.
LB807 - One license plate per vehicle (Nebraska currently gives out two plates for your vehicle). I imagine the purpose of this from the government perspective was to save money since they are proposing a bunch of stupid new license plate changes this year and it would save money to only produce half as many plates. But the benefit for US is that you would only be legally obligated to have one plate on your car (likely on the rear) and would thus be harder for automated speed enforcement devices (and other monitoring technology) to catch. A small but important win for us if it passes.  Status: Had a hearing but nothing further accomplished. Not marked a priority and probably will be ignored from now on.
LR24CA - A constitutional amendment that would eliminate the “Board of Education” and give the governor the power to directly appoint the Commissioner of Education. Generally a good move in my opinion, as the board of education simply serves as leftist activism and giving control of education directly to the governor (which in Nebraska will likely always be a Republican) would greatly limit the power of left wing activists. Unlike the other proposals above regarding education, this would also benefit homeschoolers and private schools, as it may reduce government intrusion into those areas.  Status: Had a hearing but nothing further accomplished. Not marked a priority and probably will be ignored from now on.
.
Suspicious or otherwise questionable...
LB75 - Adds to some existing laws and gives the department of “Health and Human Services” the power to investigate “severe maternal morbidity.” Given that it is simply expanding powers they already have the change here is minor, but I dislike the idea of any expansion of bureaucrat power and don’t honestly trust “Health and Human Services” to be an unbiased investigator into such things. Sketch at best.
LB163 - A mishmash of various things to punish the department of corrections for being a terrible agency with no idea what they hell they are doing. This would include likely ripping their plans for a shiny new prison out from under them. I’m a bit torn on this. On the one hand it would be amusing because NDCS is an admittedly terrible agency which deserves to be punished. But on the other hand this legislation (and several others I won’t list here) are honestly going to do more to punish the rank and file employees rather than the administrators who are actually at fault.
LR20CA - A constitutional amendment to include a “right to privacy” in the state constitution. Its very short and actually sounds good, as it “shall not be infringed without a compelling state interest.” But on the other hand it is introduced by a democrat and endorsed by two other democrats, so there must be some ulterior motive. A supposed “right to privacy” was behind the previous supreme court Roe ruling that effectively legalized abortion, so this could very well be some under the table method of trying to sneak abortion into the state constitution.
LR22CA - Giving themselves a third term in office. You didn’t do anything productive with your first two terms and now you want a third? You must be joking.
And there are quite a few other items of introduced legislation which are “suspicious” to say the least, but I will omit them for the sake of brevity. Hopefully most of them will just die in committees.
.
BAD and/or Obvious SJW Activism:
LB22 - The first of THREE proposals for legal weed this session. Yeesh Democrats, just admit you want to get high and go away.  Status: Appears to be getting ignored. Not a priority.
LB53 - SJW Holiday.  Status: Sadly made it to the general file, but has not been marked a priority, so hopefully SJWs will screw their own bill with all their filibusters.
LB54 - “Racial impact statements” on all future legislation. Basically just a way for SJW activists to give official commentary on legislation they don’t like.  Status: Appears to be getting ignored, for now.
LB161 - Supposedly “prohibits” private employers from “contact tracing” of their employees, UNLESS a “state of emergency” is declared... Status: Made it to the general file but is not marked a priority, so hopefully it won’t get any further.
LB169 & LB670 - Adds “gender identity or sexual orientation” to Nebraska anti-discrimination laws. Every unique snowflake with tight pants will want you to bake them a cake and will sue if you refuse. Status: No major progress on either, yet.
LB179 - Ban “Conversion Therapy.”  Status: Had a hearing but doesn’t appear anything further will happen with it.
LB291 - “Require implicit bias or diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) training” for pretty much anyone who is required to get any kind of special “license” from the government for their job. DEI is one of the terms leftists use for Social Justice Warrior brainwashing. It basically teaches people that they are inherently racist just for being alive and that they can only atone for their crimes by putting a rainbow flag in their front yard. And this bill would require darn near everyone in Nebraska to take this training, including asbestos abatement professionals. Because we all know how many people get discriminated against by those naughty asbestos abatement professionals, don’t we?  Status: Had a hearing but doesn’t appear anything further will happen with it.
LB316 - Removes terms like “man” and “woman” from laws pertaining to marriage. Gay marriage maneuvering.  Status: Had a hearing but doesn’t appear anything further will happen with it.
LB588 - Legal (medical) weed. Toke up for your glaucoma bro! Status: Had a hearing but doesn’t appear anything further will happen with it.
LB634 - Legal weed, Colorado style. As someone from Colorado, let me assure you that you DO NOT WANT THIS.  Status: Had a hearing but doesn’t appear anything further will happen with it.
LB668 - Allows “mental health professionals” (“the experts”) to place anyone they want “into emergency protective custody.” These “professionals” are the people who no longer say that claiming to be a different gender is a mental illness but that refusing to be vaccinated IS a mental illness. Now the government effectively wants to give these people the power to arrest you without being charged of any crime and leave you with limited options to defend yourself. EXTREMELY BAD. Status: Had a hearing but doesn’t appear anything further will happen with it.
LR18CA & LR19CA - Constitutional amendments for abortion.  Status: The lefty senators are trying to get it moved to the Judiciary committee where they think they have a better shot at getting it past the committee.
LR26CA - Remove marriage from the state constitution. Proposed by a Democrat and supported by other Democrats. Obviously more maneuvering to weaken Nebraska’s stance on Marriage and pave the way for the federal government to enforce far-left positions on this issue.  Status: Had a hearing but doesn’t appear anything further will happen with it.
Analysis:
Sadly, a very big chunk of what was introduced is really amazingly pointless. There were 800+ items of legislation introduced and only perhaps three dozen or so were even worth the paper it took to print them. We live in an age where our most basic and essential freedoms are being stripped away from us, but even supposedly conservative Republican senators are busy talking about how to regulate PET INSURANCE. That is just so infuriating. Get your priorities straightened out!
Democrats seem to have accepted the fact that their own proposed bills are likely dead in the water and will never make it out of committee. So their only objective as the small but incredibly vocal minority is to sabotage any chance of ANY bill getting passed. If they can’t get things their way, then nobody gets anything. The babies throw their tantrums every day when debating every bill, effectively filibustering every debate and slowing progress to almost nothing. Any bill not marked as a priority is basically already doomed. Some of the ones marked priority still may not make it. Republicans don’t seem to have a strategy to combat this other than to quietly put up with it, call for cloture as soon as the rules allow and pray they have the votes to move a bill to the next step.
At this point, if a bill wasn’t marked a priority, assume it won’t pass during this session. We have a small chance to still get wins on banning transgender surgeries for minors and restricting abortion, but a lot of the really good legislation that could have protected us from future government authoritarianism such as what we have seen the last few years isn’t going to even get debated much less passed.

July 30, 1922 The Gumps by Sid Smith
TOP PANEL [ID: Andy Gump, dressed in a French maid's outfit, pushes a baby carriage around a park. The baby inside angrily sucks on a milk bottle, a ribbon tied around his hat reading, "TROUBLE." /end]
MAIN COMIC [ID: Andy sits on an armchair, reading a hardback book. He turns from his reading to listen to his son Chester, who approaches him with a question. /end] Chester: Papa, can I have $1.25? We just got up a new nine. They elected me captain and I've got to buy the ball and the bat. Andy: The only reason they elected you captain is because you have the softest dad in the lot, that's all. Because you can get anything you ask for. [INFLATION GUIDE: In 2022 dollars, Chester's asking his dad for about $22. /end]
[ID: Andy leans on a low table, hands in his pockets, as he calmly lectures his young son Chester. Chester stands there, patiently listening. /end] Andy: You know, you're getting to an age now when you ought to earn a little money. Save it. then when you want money, you don't have to obligate yourself to anybody. You can go and get your own money.
[ID: Andy sits on the couch, pulling his left knee up to his chest with both hands. /end] Andy: You'd be surprised how quickly the pennies grow into dollars when you are saving. Take a little boy like you. Supposing you saved every paper that came in and tied them in bundles. Saved the old rags and iron and sold them. How long do you think it would be before you had a bank account?
[ID: Andy leans forward in his seat. /end] Andy: Did you ever stop to realize what a dollar and a quarter is? That's 125 pennies. All big men started by making their own money. Blazing their own trails. Cutting a path through the underbrush of difficulty, brushing aside all obstacles in the way of success. Abraham Lincoln was a rail splitter. He studied nights. Sold insurance and studied law. Garfield was on the tow path. A little bare-foot boy driving a canal boat.
[ID: Andy leans back and puts a hand on Chester's warily happy shoulder. /end] Andy: No one ever got any place who had to depend upon anybody else for something. When you earn the money yourself, you'll understand how hard it is to get it together and you'll appreciate the value of it.
[ID: Andy stands and leans on an arm of his armchair casually. /end] Andy: The time to earn money and save it is when you're young. Full of life and ambition. So when you grow old and feeble and unfit, you can sit down and enjoy the fruits of your early efforts. It's better to save it when you're young than to beg it when you're old. The only person who's happy, Chester, is the person who wants something. When you can have everything you want, nothing has any value.
[ID: Andy sits down and leans forward in his seat, gesturing out his point to Chester. /end] Andy: Now, suppose you came up to me and said: "Dad, I want a pony cart." And I bought it for you. Would it have any value to you? No. You might drive it for a day or two and then you'd want something else. But if you had to save your money for a long time. Earn it yourself. I'll bet you'd appreciate it.
[ID: He stands and leans on the fireplace mantle, hands back in his pockets. Chester looks overjoyed. /end] Andy: I'll tell you what I'll do with you, Chester. I know where you can buy the finest little pony cart, harness - the whole outfit for $70.00. And for every dime you save, I'll put 20¢ with it. And when you get enough money, you go down and pull the money out of your own pocket and pay it and take that pony home. You'll have bought it out of your own money that you scrimped and saved and worked for. Do you think you won't appreciate it? Chester: Oh, goodie! [INFLATION GUIDE: Andy knows a guy who can get you a pony cart for about $1,234. For every $1.76 that Chester saves, he plans on pairing it with $3.53 of his own. /end]
[ID: Chester happily races across the room as a proud Andy watches. /end] Andy: I'll say you will. Chester: Whee! I'm gonna get a pony and a cart.
[ID: Chester runs excitedly to his mother's side and begins telling her about his plans. She listens kindly while she sits on a wooden chair in the kitchen. /end] Chester: Oh, Mama. You ought to see the swell pony and cart I'm going to get. I'm going to earn it, too. Work hard and buy it with my own money. Then I'm going to take you out riding any time you want to go. I'm going to be real rich, too. Papa told me how to get rich. Then I'm going to take you to the theatre and buy you candy.
[ID: Andy hands Chester the handle of their reel lawnmower out in the backyard. /end] Andy: Come on, now. Here's your first chance to make money. This is the stepping stone. Cut the lawn and you earn 25¢. [INFLATION GUIDE: Chester's getting $4.41 to mow the lawn. /end]
Caption: Watch Chester's bank account grow. He earns 25¢. His father adds 50¢ to it, making a total of 75¢. Only $69.25 to reach the goal. [ID: Chester pushes the reel mower across the lawn with giddy determination. Andy watches, cigar in hand. /end] Andy: There goes the little fortune hunter. On your way to wealth and prosperity. [INFLATION GUIDE: Let's translate that caption right quick. "[Chester] earns [$4.41]. His father adds [$8.81] to it, making a total of [$13.22]. Only [$1,220.82] to reach the goal." /end]

Advantage Of Considering Spending Money on Generator Installation and Maintenance
Dependability
You can rely on your generator when you need it by doing regular health checks. By keeping up with routine maintenance after your generator installations in Stoke on Trent, you can ensure that your generator will operate without interruption, saving you time and stress in the event that it does not choose to shut down.
Avoid fuel-related issues
Generators are prone to fuel problems. These include dead batteries, blocked fuel injectors, and algae buildup. These issues happen when the generators are not properly maintained. If these issues are ignored for a long time, they may destroy your generators. Frequent upkeep will completely solve this issue.
Helps you save money
In the short term, skipping generator maintenance in Lincoln could seem like a cheaper solution, but it isn't. Ignoring your generator will make it more likely for you to experience problems later on. In extreme cases, you might need to replace the whole unit.
Allows you to run your generator for longer
Investing in a generator can be highly costly and is not something you do frequently. Maintaining your generator correctly will make it last longer and run smoother. Neglecting maintenance will make it run for a shorter time.
Climate change makes storms, hurricanes, and other disasters more common. They cause more power outages. In these situations, having a whole-house generator means having peace of mind in addition to power. You can stay in contact with the outside world during a blackout. Use communication equipment that relies on generator power to work well. In an emergency, constant access to information is essential. It helps for staying informed and making quick decisions.
Safety and Security at Home
Safety and a well-powered home go hand in hand. Losing power doesn't mean that the security of your house has to be compromised. Your security system will always work thanks to a whole-house generator.
This includes motion detectors, alarms, and security cameras. They stay on during blackouts to scare burglars. Also, the external lights on your house run on the generator. It keeps your property well-lit and boosts security by reducing accidents in the dark.

Harrison Kinnane Smith Freedman’s Savings and Trust Company Final Dividend Check (1883), 2024 Freedman’s Savings and Trust Company final dividend check, rent-to-own contract, stewardship agreement.
Harrison Kinnane Smith’s collaborative work and site-specific interventions critique public institutions and financial systems. His practice departs from the intersection of critical geography and political economy. Freedman’s Savings and Trust Company Final Dividend Check (1883) (2024) constitutes the latest addition to Smith’s growing body of work exploring racial ideology in the history of American real estate law and finance. The artwork draws on the exploitative arrangements of two failed Reconstruction-era reparation programs in order to support a non-profit organization providing affordable housing at the site of these historical failures. Freedman’s Savings offers collectors the opportunity to purchase one of the last checks issued by the Freedman’s Savings and Trust Company, a bank chartered by the Lincoln Administration to serve freedpeople who were legally excluded by “White” banks. Depositors in the Freedman’s Bank who hoped to save towards land ownership instead found their savings nearly halved when corruption and mismanagement led the bank to close after less than a decade. The check — a final payment of $1.50 issued to a Savannah accountholder — is available to prospective buyers only through a lease-to-own agreement that replicates the land contracts issued under the 1865 “Forty Acres and a Mule” order. Just as emancipated Black Americans lost their land when the “Forty Acres” order was canceled, title to the check is promptly withdrawn and prospective buyers are left only with the contract carefully crafted to exclude them from full ownership. All proceeds generated by serial leasing of this work directly support the Savannah Community Land Trust.

Altered future by Big Oil.
Tumblr media
It's 1957 in Lincoln Nebraska, and a full size system was successfully demonstrated by RCA Labs on a 400-foot strip of public highway at the intersection of U.S. Route 77 and Nebraska Highway 2, a series of experimental detector electronic circuits buried in the pavement were paired with a series of lights along the edge of the road. The detector circuits were able to send impulses to guide an automobile to drive itself without any driver.
The first self driving car was born.
Yeah, we developed Self-Driving automobiles way back in 1957!?!?
And you thought this was a recent technology???, The self driving car???,...... Nope, we've been working on it since the 1939 world's fair when they introduced this technology to the world, telling the tale it would be possible by the 1960's and implemented into America's infrastrutture by the 1970's to 1990's.
So by 1996 no one would be driving cars, and we would all be driven in cars that drive themselves..............................
So What Happened to that Dream?????
We are still waiting for that automation of the 1939 World's Fair in New York to be a reality because the powers that be had other plans for you driving privileges that profited THEM more than it benefitted you!
Just press a button on the dash of your car, it flashes "Electronic Drive" and the car starts to drive itself. The system can sense another car up to a mile ahead to slow down, a voice comes over the radio to give directions of coming exit's approaching so you can take control of the vehicle to make the turn off.
This was all in the 1950's technology by RCA Labs.
This was all "Shelved" by patents bought by the Oil industry.
Ya see General Electric (GE) owned RCA Labs back in the 1950's, and GE had a division called GE Oil & Gas that had investments in the petroleum industry to the tune of 2 billion, and back in the 1950's that was a shit load of money, and the Oil industry didn't want efficient self driving automobiles, they liked the wasteful driving habits of Americans leisure time drivers that waisted millions of gallons of gas just driving around doing nothing productive, to drive for the sake of driving.......... and besides self driving cars controlled by electric computers was leaning towards the electric car that would burn no gasoline made by Big Oil...........
Just think if we had electronically managed to drive automobiles by electricity imbedded in the highways, like electric trains and trams work,..... and eventually adapted to the Electric car technology........... global warming might not be a problem today.
This is why all the marvels of the 1930's to the 1950's never came to be, .....Big Oil,............ and Republicans and Democrats have been supported by Big Oil all along the way, and Fuck the Consumer, and the consumer still to this day supports both parties like they are actually representing the people,............ they aren't, they represent whomever supports the government, which is Big Oil, and Big Pharma, and a few other Banking entities that caused the Bailouts.......... where the taxpayer had to bail them out or America would have gone bankrupt,............ so thank goodness American Banking was saved and only the individual Americans went bankrupt and lost everything, as we saw in so many situations......
Keep voting for the people who fuck you the most, the republicans and the democrats, that's what they like to see, that they are in control and your the slave.............. to change that only voting independent across the board. Or just do what you have been doing and nothing changes................ and Big Oil and Big Pharma will continue to control your livelihood.
