I haven't drawn them in so long oopsies teehee BUTT scotfra week starts tomorrow and I've got at least 2 1/2 days lined up 👀 if by some miracle I get some spare time and can finish off all the days in the next week then woohoo but if not I think I will slowly drip feed more scotfra onto my feed.

also i dont want to assume you havent gotten hate over it because, well, you know. its tumblr.

but i will say i just made my mom a cover letter and resume using pretty much the same advice you gave (Because again its not forbidden knowledge its the industry standard). she doesnt have any crazy qualifications. shes been in retail for 20 years and she received offers for positions she was "underqualified" for with three phone calls the next day. so, it works. even for someone society usually wants to call "unemployable" (bc, yeah. who's hiring people in their late 50s. its scary and messed up, but point is, i made her look fancy not by lying but by using a little linkedincore flourish.)

ANYWAY. I WILL SAY. that i disagree with you on color. i fuckn love a splash of color. your fleur de lis is my gradient border. to each their own.

<3 and your other message. Though I will say I've never sent a thank you email myself, I think I've done similar in sending texts to the interviewer and discussing the interview and chatting further interpersonally. If I get that option.

And I've never tried a gradient border but that's nice! I can imagine that in my head and it's very nice! Color isn't like... a bane of resume existence, but some people seemed to take "clipart" to mean "garish, colorful, cartoon"
