I almost went the whole day without introducing another of my toons!

This is Korrix. An Inquest Liquidator who is very good at his job, this sharp, clever young asura has long been in good standing within the Inquest. After all, the Inquest cares about your work ethic, not the fact that you're a gay trans man!

Having previously been in a relationship with the former commander Vezz in the time before he left the Inquest, he was at one point tasked with being the liquidator to deal with "delivering his pink slip." Thankfully, he still held a lot of respect for him, and the Order of Whispers is a great excuse for why he has yet to be taken care of.

More recently, he's sought to leave the Inquest's employ, eventually landing with the Priory with the help of a quiet young asura magister named NIabba.

Known for his dry humor and easy smile, Korrix may be on the side of the Pact these days, but that doesn't make him any less of a threat.

Liquidator Korrix, he/him (trans man). He used to use his charm and wit to lure in his targets with a false sense of security before "relieving them of their position" with the Inquest. He's started to move away from the Inquest, though he's not sure how to break away entirely.

As a liquidator in the Inquest, Korrix has an important job, one that - for a long time - he took quite seriously. As part of the Inquest's "HR department," it was his job to assist with serving severance to researchers who left the Inquest before their due time. It was a job that cost him his eyes, but even then he saw the job through to the end.

It was during his time in the Inquest that he met Vezz, a golemancer at the Theta-9 complex he grew quite close to, and the pair began a whirlwind romance. Even after they broke thingso ff, they remained good friends... and so it was that after Vezz's rather violent escape from the Inquest that one of the best liquidators the Inquest had was chosen to hunt him down.

For the most part, Korrix's old loyalties kept him from harming Vezz, and he was able to use Vezz's alliance with the Order of Whispers to make excuses for why he hadn't yet killed him. But after Vezz fell to Balthazar in Elona, he found himself questioning his place in the world, eventually seeking out the Durmand Priory.

Korrix is another character I don't talk about too much, so it's time to talk about Korrix a little bit!

Korrix is an interesting character. Like Zaige and Zatte, he was born into the Inquest, with parents who were both researchers. And he showed a lot of technical skill, as well as having a dogged sense of determination. So he was singled out early as a liquidator.

He would deliver "pink slips" to those who left the Inquest prematurely, "breaking their contracts."

Basically killing people.

But much like Vezz, who he shared a whirlwind romance with at one point while Vezz was still with the Inquest? He just wasn't built for it. He did his work well enough.

But he hated it.

Rata Primus has ultimately been his push. He'd previously been assigned to end Vezz's contract, and because the love had been there even if it hadn't worked out between them, he'd gone out of his way to find ways to let him get away. But after traveling to the Sandswept Isles and seeing what had happened there?

He began making his own way out of the Inquest. He's still not sure how to get out fully, but he's certainly trying.
