i found this really cool graphic novel in a charity/thrift shop!

I'd never heard of this artist before but her art style is SO cool - i haven't even read it yet but i immediately have a bit of a crush on the main character lol 😭😭

After a long time I decided to play with my Nemi and Cyan lookalike sims. And since Nemi always wants a castle and the two most important elements in a castle are a moat and a wine cellar, so she got a castle with both. Oh yeah, and the castle is haunted. Should be good enough for Nemi. :D Although this was originally done for a completely different story. But now it can serve as Nemi's Gothic castle for a while. :) And hey to all the other Nemi comic fans! :D

Can’t think of any, I just cook simple.

Kindness, compassion, intelligence, beautiful eyes and voices.

No, I don’t think so.

Being able to be independent, despite my disability.

I don’t remember, I don’t like holding hands.

I don’t plant things. We have no plants because our cats would bite on them.

15 minutes ago, my older cat was on the couch with me.

Always cotton. I can’t stand anything else.

Rice with vegetables.

I am already, for long time.

Yes, one. I don’t remember her name, though.

When’s the last time you helped a senior citizen somehow?

Today I pressed the stop button in the bus because an elderly lady tried to reach it and she couldn’t.

Do you ever wonder if someone you see every day might be lonely?

Way too often. I think about such things a lot.

What’s the most selfless act you have done?

I can’t think of any, I think it’s just human to help others.

You see a spider web in the corner of your room. What do you do?

I let it live peacefully. Spiders don’t bother me.

Have you ever intentionally fed a house spider?

No, but you just gave me an idea.

Do you ever play cards with your friends?

No, I don’t. But I used to, for fun. Not for money.

Are you clumsy? If so, how?

Yeah I am, in many ways. I tend to drop things, bump into objects and I lack coordination between both sides of my body.

What makes you feel lucky?

Being alive, surviving that brain incident, having a loving husband and cats, travelling, my parents, being independent, even though I’m disabled.

How many Lidls are there in your town?

Two, as far as I remember. The 3rd one is in Oostkamp.

Have you ever read the comic strip Nemi by Lise Myhre?

Never read any comic.

Last time you went to Ikea, what did you buy?

I think DVD shelves for my husband’s PS2 games.

Straight from the bottle, thanks.

Going to my parents, but that’s impossible today.

At the moment I'm re-reading my Nemi books. Nemi is a Norwegian comic strip by Lise Myhre. And it's great!

Next it will be "To a God Unknown" by John Steinbeck.

Here is the goth girl Nemi, with some Norwegian cardamom buns : ) She is the main character in the newspaper comic, Nemi by Lise Myhre. The comic is published in several newspapers in both Norway and Sweden.

 Recently the comic got removed from the Swedish newspaper NTM because of this panel:

English translation: “Alle of the 4 big predatorsarer registered in the Norwegian red list as strongly or critically endangered.” “The wolves are critically endangered in Norway, and yet hunting is allowed.” “We are the worst in the world at protecting our wolves.”

This panel is about the yearly culling of critically endangered and red listed animals in Norway, specifically wolves, wolverines, lynx, and bears. NTM removed the comic, stating it was “too political”. I find it concerning that NTM have censored and removed Nemi from their newspaper.
